The man's warm breath kept spraying onto her cheeks and neck, and that familiar scent kept entering her nostrils. Su Wan couldn't help but imagine scenes of their pleasure, which made her even more agitated.
She stood up angrily and shoved away Shen Baiyan's advances: "Are you a leech? I can't shake you off!"
Just then, there was a knock on the door of the private room, and a waiter pushed the door open and came in: "Sir and Madam, your dishes are ready."
Shen Baiyan returned to his seat and sat down.
The waiters began serving the dishes one by one.
Seeing that there were other people around, Su Wan quickly suppressed her anger and sat down again.
Shen Baiyan sat up straight and asked very seriously, "Isn't there any other way to prolong your life?"
Su Wan didn't even look at him: "No."
Shen Baiyan frowned, somewhat unwilling to believe it: "You're a Spirit Master, and you can't even save your own life?"

Su Wan was stunned for a moment. She was initially touched, but then she gave up that sliver of hope because she remembered Gu Chu's words.
"It's just a habit, I can change it," she said, seemingly unconcerned.
Shen Baiyan stared intently at her, as if trying to see right through her: "Su Wan, do you really not understand?"
Su Wan asked in confusion, "Understand what?"
Shen Baiyan gritted his teeth, feeling utterly disappointed in his son.
"Fine, let's eat!"
