Han Ming and Dong Xiaolu had a good night's sleep and got up early in the morning without sleeping in.
Han Ming then took his girlfriend to a breakfast stall on the street for breakfast. The stall offered a variety of ordinary dishes.
However, Han Ming really liked the taste, and to his surprise, Dong Xiaolu also thought it was quite good after eating it. This soy milk and fried dough sticks were much better than those from roadside stalls in the city.
Dong Xiaolu was going back to the provincial capital in the afternoon, and Han Ming didn't want to waste their time together that morning.
Then he took Dong Xiaolu for a stroll in the central park of the new town, which they hadn't had time to see the night before.
The two spent the morning outside and went back for lunch, only to be greeted with a table full of dishes, as expected.
Dong Xiaolu was genuinely touched, thinking how warm and hospitable her future mother-in-law was. She wondered if she would get fat if her mother-in-law ate like this all the time.
Han Ming did not forget his promise from last night. After lunch, he escorted Dong Xiaolu all the way to the county's main bus station.
This earned praise from his mother, Chen Fang, who finally didn't give Han Ming a hard time.
Han Ming didn't leave until he saw Dong Xiaolu off into her car. Before parting, he promised Dong Xiaolu that she should call him when she got home.
After driving quite a distance, Han Ming reluctantly prepared to return to town.
My girlfriend has taken on a huge responsibility for me, so I can't slack off. I need to hurry back and get the game integration and development done as soon as possible.
Han Ming had played many games, and once he got home, he sat in front of the computer and searched for and downloaded games from the internet.
After downloading for a while, I felt the internet speed was very slow. Suddenly, I slapped my forehead and remembered that my X-ray glasses had an automatic network connection function. I had used them to download a few movies online before.
While its storage space can't compare to a printer, it's enough to store movies and games without much problem.
Furthermore, if there's not enough space, it can be directly transmitted to the X-ray printer's storage center via wire.
The glasses are incredibly fast at searching and downloading from the internet. Although Han Ming doesn't understand how it works, he really enjoys the speed.
My home broadband is limited to 100M, and I usually download at around 10M per second, which is considered fast.
However, the download speed displayed on the glasses far exceeded this number, and the progress bar moved forward rapidly.
A large game, several dozen gigabytes in size, was downloaded in no time. Han Ming was worried that the data was being transferred so quickly that it might burn out the network cable.
It seems Han Ming's worries were unnecessary; after all the games he specified were downloaded, the other person's internet connection was perfectly fine.
This artifact truly lives up to its name; not only is it incredibly powerful, but its performance is also top-notch.
The games in front of Han Ming were arranged neatly.
Furthermore, Han Ming discovered that while the glasses were downloading the game, they had already extracted all the program code and were now arranging it by category.
Some of the games Han Ming used to play, such as The Sims, Need for Speed, Glorious Mission, and Test Drive Unlimited, are all included.
There are also sports games like FIFA and NBA 2K, as well as popular online games such as Warcraft Universe and League of Legends.
Looking at the games in front of him, Han Ming felt it wasn't enough, so he spent some more time downloading all the more common games online.
The X-ray glasses couldn't hold all the data, so Han Ming connected the power cord and transferred the acquired data to the X-ray printer.
The R&D module in the printer accepts all incoming code without hesitation, and then begins code analysis.
Looking at the image transmitted through his glasses, Han Ming saw that the data processing capabilities of the R&D module were indeed powerful, with lines of code flying by.
As a programmer myself, I can only feel ashamed of my own processing speed.
"It's practically a supercomputer!"
Han Ming couldn't help but sigh.
As Han Ming watched the printer's R&D module categorize and archive various games on the screen, he wondered how he could integrate them into a new game.
After racking his brains for a long time, he still couldn't come up with any particularly good ideas, but he did find a new function in his X-ray glasses: "virtual game room".
Out of curiosity, Han Ming carefully read the function description.
Hey, this is great! It turns out this virtual game room can automatically load games and simulate in-game scenes; it's basically an upgraded game console.
The difference is that in real life, you can only play games while staring at a computer screen or a TV screen.
This "virtual game room" displayed the game graphics in 3D right in front of Han Ming.
Han Ming had only used the glasses to test their movie-watching function. Ordinary 2D movies could be transformed into more realistic 3D images through the X-ray glasses.
The "virtual game room" now features a 360-degree panoramic simulation, which is incredibly appealing to Han Ming.
Eagerly, Han Ming selected and loaded a first-person shooter game that he had just downloaded.
A moment later, a prompt appeared on the screen asking if he wanted to enter the game. Han Ming selected "Yes" without hesitation.
In the blink of an eye, the scene before Han Ming's eyes changed.
What appeared before me was a form to fill out, just like in most games, where I went in to set up my character and such.
Han Ming quickly filled out the form and then selected the "Start" menu below the form again.
He barely saw the usual loading progress bar for computer games, and in an instant, Han Ming found himself in a tent.
