Chapter 59 I Broke His Leg
At 8:30, only a small bedside lamp remained in the room, and Pei Wu fell asleep leaning against the soft pillows.
Lu Xiwen stood by the bed for a long time.
A nameless panic swept over her, but the last time Pei Wu was examined, it was by the most authoritative doctor in the hospital, who only said that she was overworked and had a physical condition, and that she would be fine after resting for a while.

At 8:40, Pei Wu pushed open the door and came out by herself.
"Hello, Mr. Pei," the aunt greeted him.
Pei Wu regained consciousness and nodded to the aunt from the second floor: "Hello."
The aunt looked at Pei Wu and thought she was really pretty. She didn't look very old either. At first glance, she looked like an Omgea, but the employer's information showed that she was a Beta.

The aunt had to take leave that day. She finished cooking dinner and left, saying she would come first thing the next morning.
Lu Xiwen was also attending a banquet, so Pei Wu was the only one there tonight.
He noticed the signs of losing control of his emotions, so he forcefully suppressed them and calmly organized the relevant information on the future development of Jiguang Island. "What?!" Pei Wu suddenly stood up.

“Your brother is still there, why don’t you ask him?” Pei Gaosheng said sternly.

Pei Gaosheng: "I've never even hit my own son, so who are you to judge?"
"Shut up," Pei Wu said coldly.
His voice wasn't loud, but it instantly shattered the smoky atmosphere in the room.
"When will you finally wake up after raising your son like this?" Pei Wu said coldly. "You should be glad that Pei Zhen's condition wasn't serious, otherwise I would have broken Pei Ming's legs."
This was no joke. He was clearly a Beta, but Pei Gaosheng didn't even have the courage to refute it. His mouth was agape, and his face was ashen.
Pei Ming gently tugged at Zhang Wenxiu's sleeve.
Zhang Wenxiu stood up. "Xiaowu, come with me."
