Chapter 88: Biological Instinct

There was only a shadow in front of him, and the rich fragrance of flowers almost squeezed all the air out of Yan Zheng's chest. He couldn't help but want to take a deep breath, like a fish on a dry riverbed.

Sang Tianen threw him onto the rose heart without mercy. The undercurrent in his eyes seemed to engulf his entire body, causing him to shrink back in fear.

"Be mentally prepared for ten minutes!" After saying this, Sang Tianen took out clothes from the closet and walked towards the bathroom.

Yan Zheng supported his hands behind his back, his lips were wet, and the corners of his eyes were rosy, which aroused infinite reverie. His heart almost jumped out of his chest. He kept adjusting his breathing, and his mind was foggy due to lack of oxygen.

The sound of water splashing came from the bathroom next to him, and his heartbeat was disrupted again. When he thought about what was about to happen next, his eyes suddenly widened and the feeling of anxiety and irritability surfaced again.

Maybe I should run away. While the other person was taking a shower, this thought kept flashing through Yan Zheng's mind.

But his remaining rationality told him that the woman in front of him was the one he loved. She would not hurt him, nor would she do the same thing as those men. They were in love...

In the bathroom, Sang Tianen was standing under the shower, washing his body, but the emotion in his eyes was somewhat inexplicable.

When Yan Zheng told her these things, although she acted as if she didn't care, her heart was actually broken. She could almost imagine how helpless and desperate the eighteen-year-old Yan Zheng was in that dark night.

If only she could have met Yan Zheng earlier, she would have stayed by his side like a bodyguard, making him happy forever instead of having to endure such painful things.

Unfortunately, time cannot be reversed. She could not appear on that night with foresight, nor could she save Yan Zheng from those beasts. The only thing she could do was to accompany him like this.

For some reason, she suddenly thought of Yan Zheng's first love. If she was not mistaken, it was very likely that this woman had been with her boyfriend during his darkest days.

But from Yan Zheng's description, this person disappeared like an invisible person. Maybe he automatically ignored this matter because he took her emotions into consideration?

Sang Tianen knew that she shouldn't be jealous about such things, but she couldn't help but feel this way.

People are greedy. Everyone hopes that their lover can belong to them completely and without reservation, rather than lingering on the past in a corner of their heart.

Thinking of this, she couldn't help but smile bitterly. Her confidence and indifference back then seemed like bullshit to her now.

She turned off the shower, wiped herself clean, put on her pajamas and walked out. As soon as she reached the bedroom door, she saw that Yan Zheng had already...

"You, you, are you done washing?" Yan Zheng subconsciously pulled the quilt towards his body, and the exposed shoulders looked like white jade, making people unable to take their eyes off them.

Sang Tianen was stunned for a moment, looked away uncomfortably, cleared his throat and said, "Yeah."

After saying this, neither of them spoke. Yan Zheng leaned back on the bed, covered with a thin air-conditioning quilt, pursed his rosy lips, and nervously pinched the corner of the quilt.

Sang Tianen sat at the head of the bed, his eyes lowered, not knowing what he was thinking. After a few minutes of stalemate, Sang Tianen opened his mouth and said first: "Well, I came up."

Yan Zheng pinched the corner of the quilt even harder, his cheeks flushed. Although he was still very panicked, he still nodded softly and moved to the side. Sang Tianen lifted the quilt and lay down in it.

The two of them lay side by side, with a person's distance between them. Sang Tianen looked up and paused for a few seconds before speaking again: "Do you want to play some music or talk about philosophy, history, or something like that?"

"Let's play some music."

"What kind?"

"Something more dynamic."

"Okay." Sang Tianen got out of bed and walked to the speaker, connected his mobile phone to the Bluetooth, and opened the music player software, which contained more than 300 domestic and foreign songs with strong rhythms.

"Any other requests?" Sang Tianen looked at the man on the bed and decided to make all the preparations so that he wouldn't have to come down later.

"Draw the curtains." Yan Zheng said in a low voice.

"There's no one outside." Sang Tianen replied, but he still walked to the fish-scale window, closed the curtain, and asked again, "Do you want to turn off the lights?"

"Close it." Yan Zheng gave her a decisive reply.

Sang Tianen went to turn off the lights again, and in a blink of an eye the whole room became dark, with only a few rays of light sneaking in from the curtains.

"Are there any more?"

Yan Zheng pursed his lips lightly and lowered his voice: "No more."

Sang Tianen climbed onto the bed in the dark and lay in the same position as before, with her elbows resting behind her head. After a while, she suddenly said, "Well, how about we get started?"

Yan Zheng didn't say anything. He took a few deep breaths quietly, then lay down on the bed and said softly, "Yeah."

The setting sun gradually sank below the horizon, and the night covered the entire sea like a dark curtain. The waves piled up layer by layer, constantly shaking the small yacht.

In the bedroom, Yan Zheng was in Sang Tianen's arms in a daze. Both of them were exhausted. Compared with Yan Zheng, a man, Sang Tianen seemed to be in better condition.

"What time is it?" Yan Zheng closed his eyes lightly, and his voice was unusually hoarse when he spoke.

Sang Tianen turned around to reach for her phone, opened the screen and found that it was already past seven o'clock. No wonder she felt so hungry. At first she thought it was caused by consuming too many calories.

"It's past seven." The light from the screen illuminated her cheeks, and a few strands of hair on her forehead stuck to her cheeks wetly. "Are you hungry? I'll make you something to eat."

"Yeah, I'm hungry." Yan Zheng said weakly.

"Then I'll go cook, you sleep a little longer." Sang Tianen said this and was about to get up, but the man behind him suddenly hooked his waist.

The man lay softly behind her, not saying a word, just like a pitiful kitten. Sang Tianen's heart melted immediately. She turned around and kissed the corner of his lips in the dark, saying in a hoarse voice, "Be good."

Yan Zheng reluctantly let her go. Sang Tianen stood up, took the pajamas from the bedside and put them on. She let out a barely audible breath after walking out of the room.

She felt that her performance should be pretty good. Even if she had no experience, she still had the biological instincts of a female. And judging from her boyfriend's performance just now, she seemed to be satisfied.
