Chapter 73 Little Sun

Even though the temperature wasn't high, it still made Su Qinghe, who hadn't slept well, feel sleepy again.

Ji Qingyu had returned to his room to rest, but his cold hands and feet made him take out the hot water bottle again. After thinking for a moment, he decided not to go to bed.

There was a slight noise coming from outside the door; Su Qinghe was not asleep at this time either.

She opened her eyes and waited for a while. Seeing that the person at the door did not make any further moves, she sighed helplessly, got up and opened the door.

Ji Qingyu, who was still hesitating at the door, saw Su Qinghe suddenly appear in front of her and fidgeted with her fingers a little awkwardly, "I...I just came to see you."

Hearing his lame excuse, Su Qinghe nodded noncommittally, "Come in."

Ji Qingyu walked into the house with her hands behind her back, looked around, and made conversation by saying, "Your place is really beautiful."

Su Qinghe walked to the table and poured him a glass of water. "Didn't you already see it? Have some water."

"Um... if you feel cold when you go to sleep later, you can use this hand warmer, it's very warm." After saying that, he quickly added, as if afraid that Su Qinghe would refuse.

"This was originally made for you. I have another one here, and I just had someone boil water and pour it in."

"This has been sitting for a while now, so the temperature is quite low. It feels a bit cool to me, but it should be just right for you."

Seeing his nervous expression, Su Qinghe's heart softened.

Give it to me!

She reached out and took the hot water bottle from his hand and hugged it to her chest.

"Then I'll head back. You get some rest!"

Seeing the hot water bottle next to her, Ji Qingyu pursed her lips, hurriedly said something, and ran out with a blush on her face.

Feeling the lingering warmth of her body on the hand warmer, Su Qinghe's lips curled up slightly.

She hugged the hot water bottle to her chest, lay down, closed her eyes, and soon drifted off to sleep, accompanied by a faint, intermittent fragrance.

That seemed to be Ji Qingyu's scent; she had smelled it that night when she was relieving his pain.
