Chapter 9 Signing a Contract
Cui Mao really didn't expect to receive a call from that person so soon.
He was currently staying in a cafe in the city center, anxiously waiting for someone.
In fact, he didn't do this kind of low-level scout work before. He had produced several second-tier big names. Even the number one star Wei Lan was under his management at the beginning. However, perhaps because of his own lack of ability, these famous ancestors all went to other people's management.
Now he only has two or three 18th-tier celebrities under his control. It is considered very good if he can get ten announcements a month, and they are all unknown invitations that are not enough to fill his stomach.
The company has given him an ultimatum: if he fails to lead any of his subordinates within six months, he will have to find another job.
But how could he not know that the little stars under his command were not the material that could be made famous? So he could only act as a talent scout.
He has met some good prospects in the past month, but most of them rejected him, and those who agreed to sign contracts gave up after a short period of excitement.
This road is indeed too difficult and too arduous for people who are used to being ordinary people.
But he trusted his instincts. That girl was different.
When he saw the photo on the barber's phone in the salon, he felt his heart pounding. The last time he felt this way was when he met Wei Lan, and this time he felt even stronger.
He was a man born to be in the spotlight.
This is his experience and intuition gained from ten years as a broker.
The wind chimes on the door rang, and Cui Mao saw that everyone in the coffee shop had their eyes fixed on the door.
He covered his heart which began to pound again and turned to look at the door.
A tall girl, wearing a simple and fashionable T-shirt, jeans and a pair of white sneakers, walked in and took off the mask covering her face. Her eyes glanced around the store, and then she fixed her eyes on a shiny bald head. She smiled lightly and walked over.
She seemed to be accustomed to the spotlight by nature, and was extremely calm and charming in the spotlight.
Cui Mao heard someone say in the seat behind him,
"How could this ugly bald guy at the back give birth to such a beautiful girl?"
“…”
He silently swallowed a mouthful of blood, watched the beauty sit down in front of him leisurely, showing a smile that could captivate everyone, and then said straight to the point,
"Cui Mao, the great agent of the prosperous age, right?"
Cui Mao smiled hurriedly.
"What big agent? I'm just a nobody in the company. Just call me by my name."
Although they were older than him, for some reason, Cui Mao felt he didn't dare to ask her to call him uncle.
But the beauty didn't seem to mind, she smiled and called the waiter to order a caramel latte.
"More caramel."
She added a word of instruction to the departing waiter, then turned back to look at Cui Mao, smiling and holding her chin,
"How can you just call me by my name? You're a generation older than me, so I'll just call you Uncle Mao."
Perhaps it was because the girl in front of him was too beautiful that Cui Mao only just regained some of his managerial skills. He extended his hand to the girl and said with a smile,
"That's fine, but I don't know what to call you."
The girl looked at his hand, then extended her hand to shake it, smiling.
"My name is Shen Pianxian."
