"Yes, yes, yes!"
The two nodded vigorously.
What flavor do you want?
The customer at the front of the line said, "I'd like a spicy one!"
The second customer said, "I'd like a soy sauce flavored one."
The third customer: "Grilled fish with a savory sauce? What does that taste like? I've never had it before, it sounds weird."
"I don't know, but it shouldn't taste bad."
"I don't know, I've only ever had braised fish, it sounds about the same."
"Much different..."
"I'll try the garlic flavor first."
"No, you all ordered grilled fish?" The diners behind you looked shocked.
"Yeah, otherwise why would I rush so far just for a few skewers? Of course, I'd eat grilled fish too."
"That's what I think too."
"Count me in."
"That's it."
When the news reached the back, the diners were devastated.
"Looks like I won't be able to eat these twenty grilled fish."
At that moment, Cheng Kai, who was in 22nd place, secretly glanced at Pei Chen, who was in 21st place.
Isn't this the end?
President Pei wanted to eat grilled fish.
People came all this way just to queue up.
He was terrified to be squeezed in with the other diners so early in the morning.
I was initially quite close to the front of the line and thought I had it in the bag, but it turns out that everyone ahead of me seems to want to order grilled fish.
What should we do?
"President Pei, should I go and talk to the people in front?"
I'll just spend some money to buy it.
I don't know if anyone will sell them. Cheng Kai guesses no one will. Everyone wants to eat them, and most people came with friends, so how could they possibly sell them?

I thought we were far behind, but I was actually ahead of them.
That kid runs way too fast.
Now that Xiao Zhu is ahead, there's no need to worry about the grilled fish, and he can relax.
Tonight, there's grilled fish! He didn't get to eat grilled fish yesterday or the day before. There's spicy, garlic, and now there's even a savory sauce flavor. He has to be able to eat at least one flavor before the end of the week, right?
Otherwise, it would truly break my heart.
Half an hour later, the group chose a table and chairs and sat down.
The grilled fish hasn't arrived yet, but everyone has six skewers to start with.
Pei Chen took a string of chives, a string of phoenix tail mushrooms, a string of chicken cartilage skewers, a string of chicken feet, a string of small yellow croakers, and a string of squid tentacles.
Cheng Kai took a skewer of whole chicken wings, a skewer of prawns, a skewer of beef tripe, a skewer of lamb kidneys, a skewer of pickled pepper pork intestines, and a skewer of enoki mushrooms.
Xiao Zhu took a skewer of water spinach, a skewer of chicken leg, a skewer of chicken feet, a skewer of lamb, a skewer of beef, and a saury.
The three of them tried to avoid repeating the same dishes and chose foods they usually liked to eat.
That means I've tried it once, but there were too many skewers, and I didn't get to choose quite a few.
I'll have to come again tomorrow.
Cheng Kai thought it would be best to come every day, but that was just wishful thinking. He could only rest for two days because he had to go on a business trip with President Pei in a couple of days, which would probably last about half a month.
