Chapter 118 The Last Time
Fu Yungui leaned down slightly and touched her rosy ears. "Okay, then this will be the last time."
As the man spoke, he pulled her into his arms. Momo was slightly taken aback. She hadn't expected him to be so agreeable. She had been preparing her reasons for a long time, but before she could even utter a single word, he had already let Bian Xi go without hesitation.
But this outcome was certainly better. She paused for a moment, nodded at him, then snuggled into his arms and followed him toward the car.
Seeing this, Anu and his men put away their guns and quickly followed.
Sawa walked at the very back, muttering to himself as he went.
Yun Ge's face clearly showed disbelief, yet he still insisted on asking the little girl if it was true. What was the point of that?
It's a lie that's already been discovered, so what's the point of exposing it?
No matter what, this lie will never become the truth.
Let alone Brother Yun, even he didn't believe a single word his little sister said.
It would be good if this younger sister didn't hate Brother Yun to the core, after all, Brother Yun forcibly separated her and her ex-husband, preventing the lovers from being together in the end.
How could she possibly be as she claims, willingly following Brother Yun and even marrying him?
But Brother Yun still chose to believe her, choosing to pretend he didn't know.
And the last time he just mentioned.
Brother Yun never gives anyone a so-called last chance, but he gave it to Bian Xi today.
"No, Brother Yun seemed to have said last time that it was the last time he would let Bian Xi go."
"Am I remembering correctly?"
As Sawa spoke, he unconsciously moved closer to Anu, thinking of confirming with him whether his memory was correct, but Anu kept walking forward and ignored him completely.
He's always curious about this and that; no wonder he can't control his loose tongue.
He'll die from that mouth sooner or later.
Seeing that Anu was ignoring him, and unwilling to give up, Shava moved closer to Nighthawk. "Old Nighthawk, tell me, isn't that right?"
"Is that what Brother Yun said last time?"
"My memory is so good that I can remember the body of every girl I've slept with clearly, so there's no way I'm wrong."
Sawa spoke with great conviction, even with a hint of smugness.
Night Hawk glanced at him expressionlessly, then looked at the people in the car and said slowly, "If you keep dawdling, the bullets that Brother Yun saved from Bian Xi might just be enough for you to play with."
Sawa was taken aback, not understanding what he meant by those words.
I've been behaving so well lately, and I drove so smartly today, how could Brother Yun still be so kind to me?
He's too indecisive about what he likes and dislikes.
When he turned around, he saw the person in the car leaning against the back seat, staring at him expressionlessly.
Sawa became nervous under his gaze. He immediately looked down and examined himself from head to toe, but couldn't find anything about himself that made this man stare at him like that.
However, even if there was nothing in particular, such a terrifying gaze made one's heart tremble.
It felt like I had really done something wrong; I felt guilty, incredibly guilty.
He suddenly noticed the empty driver's seat and his heart skipped a beat. Oh no, he had forgotten he was the driver. What was he doing chatting with Night Hawk like this?
Sawa immediately ran there in a flash.
He smiled awkwardly but politely at the person in the back seat, "Brother Yun, don't be angry, I'm here."
The man glanced at him, a slight smile playing on his lips. "I'm not angry. I just wanted to hear what you were muttering to yourself."
"No, I didn't say anything." He didn't dare utter a single word of what he had just said in front of this man.
Otherwise, he might really be going to meet the King of Hell.
"Let's get going quickly." With that, he jumped into the car without waiting for the people in the back seat to react.
The man glanced at him but didn't say anything.
Momo sat obediently to the side without moving.
Soon, the trees on both sides began to recede rapidly, and the two wrecked cars, along with the people who had been standing in the same spot, all disappeared around the bend.
Momo closed her eyes, shut the car window, and then leaned back in the back seat.
She was so tired. Really, so tired.
I just want to fall asleep like this, and I wish I would never wake up.
The car sped along the narrow road, with Nighthawk closely following behind to protect it.
Only then did Anu and Nar actually go back and fly the bombers over.
Not long after they left, Fu Yungui made a phone call. Momo only heard him say a few words before hanging up. The car following behind quickly turned and drove back the way it came.
After delivering the goods, Fu Yungui decided to return that same day. By the time the group arrived home, it was already the next morning.
Having stayed up all night, Momo's eyes were redder than a rabbit's. As soon as she got off the bus, the warm sun made her instantly drowsy. Ignoring the man behind her, she grabbed her things and ran back to sleep.
The soft, large bed was so comfortable that Momo didn't even have time to take a shower before falling into a deep sleep.
When the man pushed the door open and came in, the little guy on the bed was curled up and sleeping peacefully. His thin body didn't even take up a fifth of the big bed.
They didn't even have time to take off their shoes; they were in a real hurry.
She was so tired. Last night on the way back from Shan State, I told her to close her eyes and go to sleep, but she just wouldn't.
I don't know what she's so afraid of. With me by her side, she's not afraid of being robbed.
Now that you've trapped yourself in this state, you're more likely to get robbed.
How could you be this tired after just one night without sleep?
He didn't sleep all night either, yet he's still standing here in good spirits.
The man stared at her for a few moments, then reached out and took off her shoes before carrying her further into the bed.
The person on the bed seemed to sense something, and even curled up in their sleep. Fu Yungui stared at them for a few more moments until the person on the bed fell asleep peacefully again, then took the wine from the refrigerator and went out.
Under the eaves on the first floor, a man lay half-reclined on a rocking chair under a tree, leisurely drinking wine, while watching a group of people not far away carrying out their daily basic training.
After returning, Nar went directly to the training base and led them to continue their daily training tasks.
Whether he is there or not, this daily training is indispensable; it is his basic requirement.
Having nothing better to do, Shawa joined in the fun.
After drinking to his heart's content, Fu Yungui put on his sunglasses and closed his eyes to rest for a while.
A short while later, Night Hawk returned from the doorway.
Anai came back with him.
"Brother Yun..." Night Hawk called out when he was still some distance away.
"Boss, we're back," Anai called out as well.
"Mmm." The man still had his eyes closed, but responded.
"Is everything taken care of?" he asked again.
“It’s all done, boss,” Anai answered before Nighthawk could.
