Chapter 180 The Thought of Adventure

Chapter 180 The Thought of Adventure

Momo was a little disappointed, but not desperate. She thought Bian Xi might have seen the message, but for safety's sake, he wouldn't reply.

Perhaps it was for other reasons, reasons she couldn't have imagined.

In short, she only hoped that he would see it; whether he replied or not was not important.

To comfort herself with this thought, she opened the car door and got out.

After quickly washing up and having breakfast, Momo sat by the small river behind her, lost in thought.

The mercenaries simply stood there at a distance. Their orders were to stay and protect the girl's safety, but not to interfere too much with her freedom, and especially not to make her feel uncomfortable.

How do we determine this size?

They thought about it again and again.

Finally, I figured that since this place is surrounded by water on two sides and dense jungle on the other two sides, all we need to do is guard the jungle area.

So they decided that they would just stand in front of the house as a lookout, while Momo would sit behind the house, her whole body hidden by the house.

She stared blankly at the rushing water flowing past her, and as she looked at the surface, a thought suddenly popped into her head—a somewhat risky one.

Last night, she casually asked Anu, "This is at the foot of the mountain, the entrance to this village."

If Fu Yungui really intends to kill Bian Xi, then he will definitely move up the ranks, which means that Bian Xi is also at the top.

Once the thought suddenly popped into my head, I couldn't take it back.

Momo subconsciously looked behind her, where the mercenaries stood far away, still on guard.

There's absolutely no danger here, but they still habitually do these things.

Fortunately, they were all standing with their guns pointed at them and their backs to him.

She was a little scared, and her heart was trembling.

Because of a heavy rain, the water flowing down from above became even more rapid, and the river kept flowing westward to the low-lying areas.

Momo looked at it, then got up without hesitation and walked towards the river.

...

About half an hour later, the cars came to a steady stop at the entrance of the forest.

Sawa's helicopter landed on an open space not far away, at a distance of about five kilometers from the drug manufacturing plant.

The rain started to fall again, and the jungle was filled with a strong smell of rotting wood. The weather was gloomy and the light was extremely dim.

A group of men dressed in black combat uniforms, fully armed and carrying guns, entered the jungle in an orderly fashion. They then split up at a fork in the road, proceeding in three groups towards the drug manufacturing plant in the middle, according to the plan from the previous night.

As dawn approached, the group arrived at a point about one kilometer from the factory, where the rain had stopped.

Fu Yungui had already circled around to the back of the factory to seal the entrance. Anu's voice came through the earpiece, "We have reached the engagement point. Over."

Anu was the commander-in-chief of this operation, because the man disdained to be the commander of this small operation; he only wanted to wait here to capture Bian Xi alive.

Bian Xi was the real reason he came here today.

"Attention all groups, proceed to the drug manufacturing plant, full speed ahead, over." It was Anu's voice again.

As soon as he finished speaking, echoes began to come through the earphones.

“Point A received,” Nar replied.

"B point received." Night Hawk followed closely behind.

"C point received." Finally, Sawa's voice came through the earpiece.

The three men, each accompanied by several mercenaries, approached the drug manufacturing plant from three different directions.

"Holy crap." A moment later, Shava's voice came through the earpiece again, "Damn it, they've even planted directional mines here."

Directional mines, also known as anti-personnel directional mines, are designed to kill densely packed infantry when detonated. The steel balls or fragments inside the mine will fly in a predetermined direction. They are usually placed at the front of defensive positions.

"They're really fucking scared of death." This thing is buried so far from that factory.

After he finished speaking, no one paid him any attention.

Nar walked cautiously forward with a cold and serious expression, holding his gun. Three mercenaries followed behind him. Soon, a thick white fog appeared in the scope, enveloping the rain-soaked forest, making it look mysterious and serene.

Just as he was about to scan his surroundings, Sawa's voice came through his earphones again.

"You know, this place is really nice. If a group of girls came here to live in seclusion, it would be the life of a god."

"How come I can already see my retirement life before I'm even married?"

"Stop talking nonsense and stay alert," came Nar's cold voice through the earpiece.

Sawa retorted, "You're not the commander-in-chief, what are you doing giving orders?"

"Shut up," Anu said. "I told you to be on guard, but you've been talking so much nonsense."

"Received, I've shut up," Sawa said lazily.

Then, the group carefully moved forward one after another.

The jungle was quiet, with a group of people standing guard with guns at the ready.

After a moment of silence in the earphones, a familiar voice came through again, "Guess what Brother Yun is doing right now?"

“I don’t want to guess,” Night Hawk replied.

“Guessing won’t kill you,” Shava added.

Nobody paid any attention to them.

After about five minutes, Nar could see the general outline of the house through the scope. It was still far away, but he could see that it was surrounded by soldiers with guards.

It seems this drug factory has quite a lot of drugs; to be able to use so many people, it must be no small operation.

"Point A has been identified as the target area. There are three sniping positions in front of the gate, located in the southeast corner, southwest corner, and main gate respectively."

"Received," Anu replied. "How's the situation at point B?"

"Nothing unusual has appeared yet, all done," Night Hawk replied.

"There's a situation at point C." Sawa suddenly said in the earpiece, "Observation at point C: several people leading livestock have appeared 200 meters ahead, and they are all armed."

"How many exactly?" Anu asked.

Sawa immediately became serious. "We can see about twelve so far. We don't know if there are any more following behind."

"Can you see what's up there?" Anu asked again.

“It’s not clear. Only the animal’s head is showing; the things on its back are hidden by the bushes,” Sawa replied.

What about point B?

"From point B, we can confirm that the target number is twenty-five people and ten livestock. The livestock are all carrying heroin," Night Hawk said.

"The target has automatic firepower and is expected to enter the ambush range in ten minutes."

"Looks like I'm really lucky today, I just happened to run into these unlucky guys delivering goods."

Through the communication device, Sawa's voice was flippant yet excited.

Located halfway up a mountain, the mountain roads are rugged and the jungle is very dense. Transportation relies mainly on manpower and livestock; nothing else can get in.

The people who transport the goods are usually quick-witted and top-notch mercenaries, because dangers can occur at any time on the road.
