Chapter 21 Throwing her out of the car

Chapter 21 Throwing her out of the car

She tried to pull back, but her nose still bumped into his chin, causing her a little pain.

Fu Yungui was stunned, and the hand gripping her shoulder tightened involuntarily.

Momo immediately felt a pain and looked up at him, only to find herself meeting his gaze.

The man's gaze was neither cold nor indifferent as he looked at the small face and the slightly red, glossy lips.

Upon seeing those red lips, Fu Yungui instantly recalled the scene of being forcibly kissed by this woman earlier. He immediately turned his head, let go of her hand, pushed her aside, and looked away.

"Stop the car and let her out."

Upon hearing the sound, Anu immediately turned the steering wheel and brought the car to a safe stop beside him.

Momo immediately panicked. What was she going to do alone on this dark road?

If she encounters bad people again, then she's completely beyond saving.

She tugged at his arm, "Fu Yungui, I have no money and no phone. I can't go back if I stay here. Please take me with you, and you can leave me there when we get to Pattaya."

Whether you can go back or not is none of my business.

The car door opened automatically, and Fu Yungui grabbed her by the arm and threw her out, then closed the door and told Anu to drive away.

"Fu Yungui..." Momo chased after the car, not knowing how she had suddenly offended him again.

Driven by a basic instinct for survival, she ran very fast, but no matter how fast she ran, how could she keep up with the speed of the Bentley? Soon she started to get out of breath. She looked up and saw that the rear of the car was already far away. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't catch up. So she clutched her stomach and slowly stopped.

After a short while, the car drove for a distance and then suddenly stopped again.

Momo thought he had changed his mind, so she quickly ran in that direction again.

However, the distance was still quite far, and she had also gotten a stitch while running, so her speed was much slower.

Fu Yungui told Anu to back the car up until it stopped next to her.

Momo, hands on her hips and still panting, looked at him with a slight smile and said, "Thank you."

At that moment, she felt that his sudden change of mind and this act of kindness were enough.

Fu Yungui rolled down the car window, casually resting his hand on it. "You're overthinking it." He then pulled out a few banknotes and threw them out.

Along with the banknotes, Anu's coat also came out of the car window.

Momo watched the banknotes fly in the wind, and then the Bentley disappeared from her sight at an extremely fast speed.

She stood there, completely dejected, as if her soul had been ripped away.

It was already past midnight, and apart from the food street, there were hardly any people to be seen anywhere else on the island. The dark roads were deserted, which made people feel a little uneasy.

After pausing for a moment, Momo hurriedly picked up the banknotes and coat from the ground, quickly put them on to cover her sexy clothes, and then quickened her pace, following the roadside signs to find a nearby hotel.

Although the money wasn't enough to stay in a hotel, Momo felt it would be a little safer to stay near the hotel, since there would be people there all night.

Out of fear, she practically ran the whole way.

Upon arriving at the hotel lobby, she approached the front desk manager and, speaking in broken Thai, asked her to help her call the police.

In this unfamiliar place, she felt that only asking the police for help would give her some peace of mind.

After the manager understood, he made the call as she requested, and the police arrived quickly and took her away.

The police noticed that she was filthy and dressed strangely, so they asked her if something had happened.

Momo was almost moved to tears by her gentle concern. She hesitated for a few seconds but still shook her head and denied it, only saying that she had accidentally fallen into the sea and couldn't find her phone to go home.

She knew that even if she told them about what happened tonight, it would be useless. There weren't even any security cameras on that road, so how could she prove that what she said was true? Besides, it involved Buddy, whose identity and status were probably something they wouldn't dare to investigate even if they wanted to.

Well, she was already grateful to have gotten out safely. She didn't dwell on anything else; she was going back tomorrow anyway.

Seeing that she wouldn't say anything, the policewoman didn't ask any more questions and found a quiet place for her to rest for a while.

That night, Momo stayed at the police station. They said they would take her back to Pattaya after dawn.

Later, the policewoman tried to contact Palm Bay Grand View Estate for her, but the phone rang for a long time before someone answered; it was the night watch maid.

He said everyone in his family had gone out to pick up the young lady.

After hanging up the phone, Momo remained silent for a moment.

Did Qi Qi escape on her own?

If Qiqi hadn't called back, Grandpa Pi and the others probably wouldn't have known about this, right?

Although the situation was chaotic and complicated, it seemed impossible for a girl with no strength to escape from there. However, Momo still hoped that everything would be as she imagined, that Qiqi could escape from there safely, and that Grandpa Piweng could bring her back safely.

It was almost three o'clock when a policewoman came over and asked her to go to the next room to rest for a while. Momo forced a smile and shook her head at her, then continued to sit by the window and listen to the sound of the waves in the distance.

She was too afraid to sleep, fearing that she would wake up in a completely unfamiliar place again. That feeling was terrifying, and she didn't want to experience it a second time.

The gentle sound of waves crashing against the beach helped her relax.

After an unknown amount of time, the east finally began to show the first light of dawn.

The sky began to brighten slowly.

When Momo was taken to the entrance of Palm Bay Grand View Manor by police car, the sun was already high in the sky. As she got out of the car, the heat hit her face, and the glaring sunlight made it hard for her to open her eyes for a moment.

"Alright, miss, we'll take you this far." The tall male police officer spoke to her very politely.

Momo was very grateful for their help. She put her hands together on her forehead and sincerely thanked them in Thai.

The police responded politely, then got into their car and drove away.

Momo was wearing a large black shirt that covered her entire thighs. The slippers she was wearing were the ones the policewoman had found for her at the police station; she had lost one of her shoes while running so fast.

The manor gates were tightly shut, and Momo stood there ringing the doorbell.

A moment later, the door opened, and the bodyguard in the suit saw her and immediately relayed a message through his walkie-talkie.

"Miss Huang, you're back."

Momo nodded, then asked him expectantly, "Where is your young lady?"

"Miss was just brought back and is in a bad mood. Mr. Pion has already sent someone to Pattaya to look for you, but I didn't expect you to come back on your own."

Momo was thrilled to hear that Qiqi had arrived home safely.

"Take me to see her." With that, she got into the car next to her.

"Okay." The bodyguard got in and drove towards the main building.
