Chapter Forty-Five: A Name Without Right Means
Just as Sang Ruo was about to hear the man's response, she was interrupted by a voice behind her: "Miss Sang, why didn't you tell me you were coming?"
Sang Ruo turned around upon hearing the sound and saw Bai Yu, who had appeared behind her at some point.
The two people inside naturally heard the commotion outside the door.
Liang Yuxin reluctantly got off the man's lap and asked in a low voice, "Bai Yu, who's outside?"
"Mr. Bo, Miss Sang is here. Is this a convenient time for you...?"
Before Bai Yu could finish speaking, the door was pushed open by Sang Ruo in an instant.
Bo Jinzhou raised his eyes and saw Sang Ruo walk in calmly and sit down directly on the sofa.
"Miss Sang, what brings you here so suddenly?" Liang Yuxin's voice was tinged with displeasure. "This is where we work in Jinzhou. It's probably not appropriate for you to barge in like this."
"If I, as the legitimate wife, can't come, does that mean you, whose status is illegitimate, can?"
Sang Ruo turned her head and glanced at her, her tone cold and indifferent.
"Miss Sang, what are you saying? Whose words are not legitimate?"
“I didn’t name names! If Miss Liang wants to assume it’s about her, I won’t stop you…”
"Sang Ruo, that's enough." Bo Jinzhou quickly stood up and walked towards the sofa: "What exactly do you want from me?"
"Tell her to leave. I need to talk to you about this privately."
Sang Ruo's tone was cold and indifferent, her brows furrowed with detachment.
The man looked displeased: "Yu Xin isn't an outsider, what is there that she can't hear?"
“But she’s not your good wife now. We’re the real husband and wife. I want to talk to you about some private matters. Do you want her to be there?” Sang Ruo’s tone became increasingly cold. “If you let her leave a little faster, maybe you won’t have to sneak around like this next time.”
Upon hearing this, the man's face turned extremely gloomy.
Liang Yuxin was furious, but with Bo Jinzhou there, she couldn't say much.
She tugged at Bo Jinzhou's sleeve, her voice becoming increasingly coquettish: "Jinzhou, in that case, let's talk on the phone later! I'll be going now."
"good."
Bo Jinzhou nodded slightly, his brows full of tenderness.
Sang Ruo turned her head and glanced at him; it was the first time she had ever seen such a gentle expression on this man's face.
Even when we were being most intimate before, I never saw him show me any tenderness like this.
Oh.
It turns out that love and not love can really be seen at a glance.
She used to think that his aloofness and indifference towards her was just because he was cold-hearted, but she never expected that he was only cold-hearted towards her.
The person people want to feel warmth for is never her.
"Clatter—"
After the gate was closed, Bo Jinzhou strode to the opposite side of Sang Ruo.
After sitting down, he looked up at her indifferently: "What do you want to tell me?"
"What else could I possibly say between us?" Sang Ruo looked at him expressionlessly, her tone indifferent. "Naturally, I'm here to urge you to sign. When are you finally going to sign this?"
The man leaned forward slightly and picked up his teacup: "I've told you this countless times. Grandpa's current health condition simply doesn't allow me to divorce you. Otherwise, I would have signed the papers long ago, and you wouldn't have had to come and urge me so many times."
"I also told you that I could cooperate with you in acting for a while before the divorce, and then tell Grandpa the news after he recovers. This won't affect you much, right?"
"You've been getting quite close to my uncle lately! I heard he went to Youfeng Tower yesterday. When did your relationship become so good?"
The man did not respond to her words, but changed the subject.
Sang Ruo raised her eyes, her brows suddenly furrowing slightly.
It seems that Bo Jinzhou did indeed send people to keep an eye on her, otherwise he wouldn't have known that Bo Jinyan had come to her house.
"I'm talking to you about the divorce, why are you bringing up your uncle?"
Bo Jinzhou quickly got up, walked around the tea table, came to her side, put his hands on the back of her sofa, knelt on one knee on the sofa, and instantly wrapped Sang Ruo in his arms.
The sudden closeness made Sang Ruo frown slightly: "Why are you suddenly getting so close?"
The man's voice grew deeper: "I heard you two were even hugging?"
Sang Ruo's brows furrowed more and more tightly.
You even saw this!
Sang Ruo's face darkened: "You really sent someone to follow me?"
"Answer my question! Why are you and your uncle so close?"
Bo Jinzhou grabbed her chin in an instant, forcing her to raise her head.
"Because I almost fell down the steps, Mr. Bo helped me up, and when it got to you, it became that we hugged each other?" Sang Ru shook off his hand, a mocking sneer curling her thin lips: "Next time, tell your people to be more careful. I don't care if I hear this kind of talk, but if it gets to your uncle's ears, he'll be quite amused."
Bo Jinzhou's eyelashes trembled slightly.
That statement is indeed true.
My uncle hates it most when people slander him...
Sang Ruo stood up from her chair, and Bo Jinzhou in front of her also straightened up.
“If you are unwilling to sign, I don’t mind waiting with you, but from today onwards, in my heart, we are officially divorced. From now on, we will not interfere with each other’s lives. I would appreciate it if Mr. Bo could remove the people who are watching me.”
Sang Ruo's voice was extremely deep, and her upturned eyes were full of coldness.
As she turned to leave, Bo Jinzhou suddenly grabbed her wrist: "If I find out that you really have designs on my uncle, you'd better watch out."
Upon hearing this, Sang Ruo's heart skipped a beat.
She had never intended to think that way, but the man's words did offer her some insight.
If one absolutely must find a protector, Bo Jinyan would be a good choice.
After all, it was Bo Jinzhou who acted improperly first, so why shouldn't she do the same?
"I'm already divorcing you, why are you still interfering?" Sang Ruo smiled faintly. "I'm not your wife anymore, and in my eyes, Bo Jinyan is just a man..."
man.
When the word reached his ears, Bo Jinzhou's eyes turned crimson.
"Sang Ruo, do you know what you're saying? That's my uncle!"
"That's your uncle, not mine."
Without hesitation, she shook off his hand, her smile growing increasingly cold.
For the first time, he saw an aura of 'allure' in her.
Bo Jinzhou watched the departing figure: "When did you become so dissolute?"
dissolute.
Upon hearing this word, Sang Ruo abruptly stopped in her tracks.
This was the first time Bo Jinzhou had used such words to describe her.
Say what you want.
Sang Ruo curled her thin lips into a mocking smile.
After leaving the Bo Group, Sang Ruo stood in front of the building, pondering for a long time.
In the end, she took out her phone and sent a text message to Bo Jinyan.
Mr. Bo, are you free tonight?
