Chapter Seventeen: They Arrive to Pick Her Up from the Hospital
Sang Ruo unconsciously swallowed.
Every time I face this man, his powerful aura of oppression makes others easily tense.
He was clearly just sitting there.
He clearly did nothing.
“My friends all told me that Mr. Bo was supposedly there to save me, otherwise…” Sang Ruo paused for a moment, then continued, “I would have been in grave danger.”

"I misspoke." Chen Anni patted her mouth and then laughed, "I think the sight of you and your uncle together is much more pleasing to the eye than the sight of you and Bo Jinzhou."
Upon hearing this, Sang Ruo subconsciously raised her eyelids.
Her eyelashes trembled a few times.
"Stop joking around, Bo Jinzhou hasn't signed yet, we're still family for now..."
“Not so soon.” Chen Anni gossiped, “I heard that my uncle is not married yet. Why not keep him in the family? Why don’t you just win him over? Then Bo Jinzhou will have to call you aunt. Just thinking about it makes me happy.”
Sang Ruo raised her hand and patted her back: "I'm hungry."

For the next few days, Sang Ruo rested in the hospital.
Old Master Bo somehow got wind of the news that Sang Ruo was hospitalized and insisted on visiting her.

Only after his mother-in-law, Chen Fangyue, repeatedly persuaded him did he not come to the hospital to see Sang Ruo.

Sang Ruo listened to her cursing and swearing, but just smiled and didn't say a word.
She knew very well that Chen Anni was standing up for her.

On the day of her discharge, Chen Anni received a notice early in the morning that she had something very important to attend to and had left at six in the morning. She was told that she could only come to help her with the discharge procedures after she finished her business.

"We'll be there in five minutes."
Before she could respond, the other end of the line hung up.
Sang Ruo paused for a moment.
Five minutes.
It's only a five-minute walk from the parking lot to the inpatient department.
Was he planning to come all along?
That's true.
Bo Jinyan is a very responsible person. She had an accident at the orphanage, and he was the orphanage's sponsor.
He would come to pick her up from the hospital, simply because she had saved the child.
Sang Ruo quickly changed her clothes, waiting for Bo Jinyan's arrival.
She deliberately opened the door and kept looking outside.

“If Grandpa hadn’t called me early this morning to tell me to come pick you up from the hospital, I definitely wouldn’t have come.”
There was a hint of displeasure in his eyes.
When Sang Ruo heard footsteps, she realized that Bo Jinyan had also arrived.

Bo Jinzhou and Sang Ruo turned around almost simultaneously after hearing the footsteps.
When Bo Jinyan appeared at the door, Bo Jinzhou's face showed an incredulous expression: "Uncle, what are you doing here?"
