Chapter 16 Oracle
The Skenks began to flee in all directions, which meant that the Lizardmen's battle line collapsed completely.
Only Thoros and the giant lizard were left fighting to the death amid roars, while the dwarf allies had been separated by the undead and moved out of sight.
Lynch roared as he killed a group of sturdy crypt demons, and then cut open a huge corrupted Leviathan, and the stinking crab roe splashed into the swamp.
Undead souls kept pouring in, as if they were endless, and they managed to hold Lynch back with their numbers.
The rustling sounds of spells rang out again, but louder than them was the terrifying screams of the wanderer in anger.
The fleeing lizards regrouped, held out their fear, surrounded the conspicuous Romon, and fought against the enemy.
If you ignore the vampire's magic, the fragile dead are actually not worth fearing.
A dazzling light shone, even overshadowing the light of Kotego's scepter in Lynch's hand.
A small sun formed above the swamp, and as the vampire looked around in panic, the concentrated sun began to tremble.
Then, it exploded! White light washed over the dead souls like a wave, and the dead disappeared amid their wails.
The entire swamp fell silent in an instant, and the screams of the skin lizards, who had not reacted and were shouting "Tebok" to boost their courage, pierced the tranquility of the swamp.
Romon subconsciously closed his huge mouth and took a deep breath of air, but he should have bitten a huge bat wolf.
The dwarves, standing back to back, were dumbfounded and looked around blankly. The clean swamp seemed as if there had never been an army of undead.
It was like a desperate nightmare, and now the dawn woke them up.
In the swamp, a blind dragon floated to the surface with its master.
Lynch looked at the familiar lizard prophet and felt a little confused.
That was the oracle who had made a prophecy in front of Lynch. Its current state was obviously not normal.
Behind the golden mask, Shi Jianke's eyes are colder than winter.
The cold gaze that no creature should have was cast at Lynch and Nakai. Lynch once again felt the vast will that far surpassed that of ordinary people.
The wanderer let out a long, low growl under the magnificent gaze, scratching his body submissively, and the golden ornaments made crisp sounds as they collided.
Lynch had a guess, lowered his head and avoided the sight.
There are rarely such unique spells!
Seven thousand years ago, it exiled millions of demons.
In Lustria, only one Slann remembered the spell passed down by the ancient saint Typok.
Obviously, the Skin Lizard Prophet in front of it is its agent.
Even though he was dead, even though his power was only a tiny echo of his former glory, the mighty First Generation Slan could easily destroy towns and raze mountains to the ground! Thoughts greater than the vast will that Lynch had felt underground receded.
The prophet's eyes became lively again.
Without saying hello to the other lizardmen, the servant of the ancient saint left quietly, just as he had silently saved a group of living people.
The army began to advance in silence again. The dwarves were lucky not to lose a single compatriot.
Their size and numbers are not outstanding, and they are even more inconspicuous in the Sea of Undead.
Somehow, the vampires avoided these creatures that disgusted them. Under the transformation of the ancient saints, the dwarves all had excellent resistance to magic.
Anyone with the ability to cast spells would not like to deal with them!
The subsequent progress was smooth. There were only a few undead in the fortress near the coast of the Pakuta River. It seemed that the vampires had withdrawn their strength.
Lynch just walked around with the scepter and wiped out the undead.
Perhaps the sun exploding in the swamp scared the undead, and no more bloodborn came to harass the Lizardmen's march for the next few days.
The dwarves were exhausted from the arduous journey through the swamp, and finally Lynch had to trick them onto Romon's back.
The dwarf is too stubborn and insists on his own opinion.
Fortunately, the dwarves of Haimen Pass are easier to get along with than their own people, and Grimm doesn't mind cooperating with Lynch's white lie.
Romon also didn't mind taking nine heavy dwarves for a swim.
This sea lizard took to the swamp like a duck to water and enjoyed spending time with his fellow swamp dwellers, although he had limited ability to express his emotions.
When Grimm learned that Roman was a special stranger, he would communicate with him in Chinese every day, mostly bragging about his "great achievements" in the past year.
Lynch just wanted to laugh. He knew this world well and could easily identify the dwarf's self-processing.
Grimm claims to be famous in Blackwater Bay and is one of the apprentices of Barak, the commander of the Seagate Fleet.
Well. It was once, and that stubborn old dwarf eventually died in a vicious siege by a Skaven fleet.
Grimm relied on his experience from his previous life and used a strategy that dwarves are not very good at using. Well, okay!
The dwarf proudly boasted about his feint to the east and bluffing, and under the cover of various conspiracies, he commanded the ironclad ships to decapitate the ratman's main ship.
This was so advanced in dwarven society that the bearded elder didn't know whether to condemn Grimm's heresy or praise him for erasing the hatred in the Book of Hate.
Of course, he was eventually punished and rewarded by the dwarves based on his merits and demerits.
Grimm is good at maneuvering in battle and attacking the enemy when they are tired.
Grimm earned his honorary nickname and was known to the dwarves as Grimm the Backstabber.
Glancing at the passionate dwarf, Lynch finally stopped talking and continued marching in the mud.
Nicknames like Backstabber and Mean Dagger are more common among Greenskins and Skaven.
The dwarves sang rough songs praising the dwarven god of war, Grimnir. Their loud and unmelodious voices scared away several dragons basking in the sun.
Lynch just thought they were noisy.
The Skinks listened to the dwarven music and, not to be outdone, began to converse with one another in strange accents, praying loudly to the ancient Saint Taranksla.
This Old One, who loves to fly through the air on her chariot over battlefields, is seen by the Skinks as the embodiment of the warlike nature of the Lizardmen.
Although Lynch believed that it was not a chariot at all, but a flying vehicle of the ancient saints.
The Ancient Saint was not inspecting the battlefield, but more likely collecting combat data.
Lynch gradually got used to the noise made by the two groups, and the competitive ceremony ended when the sun set.
A group of knights riding on skeletal Pegasus and wearing blood-red armor blocked the warriors' way.
There were also many such knights in the previous battle. They prefer close combat than ordinary blood descendants, and their skills are obviously more advanced.
Although Lynch can still kill them in one encounter...
A white-haired vampire holding a bloody holy grail in his left hand and a scarlet sword in his right hand stood on a skeleton dragon, looking down at the lizardmen in the swamp.
Some dwarves recognized the identity of the vampire. They looked gloomily at the powerful knight in the sky, recited the records in the Book of Hatred over and over again, and clenched their battle axes.
Lynch heard them repeatedly repeating the pronunciation of "Valachi Haken" and quickly found the corresponding existence from his memory.
I think this should be Luther Harken's brother, the grand mentor of the Blood Dragon Knights.
It once killed Balin, the dwarf king of Torrent Pass! If we talk about the ancestor of blood dragons, Abhorash is a tiger and a warrior of honor.
The blood knights of Varaj Haken are cheetahs.
While not as aggressive as their warlike ancestors, these aggressive vampires are no less deadly.
More importantly, Abohrash’s disciples do not have the same sympathy and compassion for the weak as he does. They are complete monsters!
Another change occurred that shouldn't have happened, which made Lynch a little uneasy.
This descendant of Abhorash should be living in seclusion at the border between the Sigmar Empire and the Kingdom of Bretonnia.
