Chapter 305 Treasure

Just as dawn was breaking, Liu Feiyue woke up after sleeping for less than two hours at home. He quickly washed his face, got out of bed, and met up with Liu Erxi and Liu Sanchang, who were already waiting outside the gate. They then went into the mountains together, carrying the four camphor wood chests that they had hidden in the woods the night before, and headed deeper into the mountains.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, Liu Feiyue suddenly stopped in the depths of a dense forest where almost no one could be seen.

"Are we there yet, big brother?" Liu Erxi and Liu Sanchang, who were huffing and puffing behind, stopped and asked.

"Almost there." Liu Feiyue said, putting down the box he was carrying on his shoulder, bending down to part the dense grass under the big tree next to him, searching for something.

It's not this one, and it's not this one either...

Soon, Liu Feiyue found a knife-carved arrowhead mark near the base of a large tree and was overjoyed: "Found it!"

He walked about five or six meters away in the direction the arrow pointed, and parted the particularly lush grass to reveal a bottomless hole that was about the size of a person.

"This is it." Liu Feiyue waved to Liu Erxi and Liu Sanchang, who were waiting not far away.

Liu Erxi and Liu Sanchang quickly carried the boxes over.

Liu Feiyue took a rope, tied one end to a tree nearby and the other end to his waist, and carefully went down into the hole.

This was a tomb raider's tunnel. Liu Feiyue had learned some skills from the old tomb raider and went into the mountains by chance to discover it. He didn't know what dynasty or person the tomb belonged to. He explored along the tomb passage for a while and found a few skeletons with braids, so he dared not go any further and planned to come back to explore when the time was right and with more people.

For now, he's temporarily using the tomb chamber connected to the tomb robber's tunnel as a warehouse. Whether it's scrap he's collected or things he's unearthed while digging up the villa, he's hidden them all here. There are already several boxes full, which will be his capital for making a fortune in the future.

Liu Feiyue had Liu Erxi and Liu Sanchang lower the four camphor wood chests down with ropes and hide them in the tomb chamber before climbing out. He then covered up the tomb-raiding hole again to make sure it wouldn't be discovered before returning with Liu Erxi and Liu Sanchang.

On the way back, passing by the wild boar's den he had accidentally wandered into last time, Liu Feiyue thought of something, his eyes flashed, and halfway there he suddenly changed direction.

Liu Erxi quickly realized something was wrong and asked in confusion, "Brother, have you taken the wrong road? This direction doesn't seem to lead back to Liu Family Village."

Liu Sanchang looked left and right, then belatedly realized what was happening: "Yeah, brother, did you do something stupid too?"

Liu Feiyue couldn't help but roll his eyes at Liu Sanchang: "I'm not you. I never intended to go back to Liu Family Village."

Liu Erxi carefully examined the direction Liu Feiyue had gone, his eyes lit up, and he quickly understood: "If I remember correctly, this direction should lead to Xiaogaozhuang, right, brother?"

“That’s right.” Liu Feiyue nodded approvingly.

Liu Sanchang scratched his head, still completely baffled: "Xiaogaozhuang? What are we going to Xiaogaozhuang for?"

Liu Erxi raised his hand and slapped him on the head: "How can you be so stupid? Didn't Dong Cang say that his future sister-in-law's younger sister is living in Xiaogaozhuang now? Of course, we should go and check it out."

"Oh." Liu Sanchang suddenly realized, but he quickly had another question. "But we don't seem to know which house she lives in?"

Liu Erxi's teeth itched with anger: "Can't you ask?"

“Oh…right…” Liu Sanchang said.

Liu Feiyue: "..." Luckily, he was strong enough, otherwise, with his brain, he really wouldn't be able to play with him.

At this moment, Xing Zhaozhao was at home, playing with Xiao Hongling with Hongfei and Hongyu.

The little girl will be one year old in two months. Her legs and feet are getting more and more nimble. In the blink of an eye, she can crawl a long way. Fearing that she might accidentally fall off the bed and get hurt, Xing Zhaozhao simply laid a straw mat on the floor of the main room so that she could crawl around as much as she wanted.

"Come here, little Hongling, come to Mommy." Xing Zhaozhao sat in one corner of the mat, holding a rattle drum in her hand to attract the little girl's attention.

Little Red Ridge looked at her mother and excitedly crawled over.

Seeing this, Hongfei, who was sitting in the opposite corner, squeezed the rubber duck in his hand and said, "Little Hongling, come here to big brother."

Hearing the "squeak" sound, Xiao Hongling turned her head to look at her older brother, then turned her bottom and went to Hongfei.

Hongfei grinned, but before he could even rejoice, Hongyu, seeing the situation was turning against him, wasn't about to be outdone. He picked up his little trumpet and blew it "beep beep beep": "Little Hongling, don't go to your big brother, come to your little brother..."

Little Red Riding Hedgehog turned to look at the older boy, and was once again drawn in and changed direction.

“Little Hongling, come to Mommy…” Xing Zhaozhao’s rattle-drum rang out again.

"Little Red Lotus, come here to big brother..." Hongfei's little yellow duck called out.

"Little Red Lotus, come here to your big brother..." Hongyu's little trumpet started eating again.

The main room was instantly filled with noise, and Fu Lan, who was sitting at the table concentrating on drawing design sketches, couldn't help but look over speechlessly.

Little Hongling looked at her mother, then at her two older brothers, pouted, plopped down, and held her toes, refusing to play anymore. They were just teasing her; she wasn't playing anymore.

No matter how hard Xing Zhaozhao and the two little ones tried, they couldn't get the little girl to look at them, and they were all dumbfounded.

Fu Lan watched from the side and couldn't help but giggle with delight.

Hearing the unusual sound, Xiao Hongling turned her head to look at Fu Lan, then wiggled her little bottom and crawled over. When she reached the table, she actually managed to stand up shakily, holding onto the stool.

Xing Zhaozhao and the others stared in shock, their eyes wide, barely daring to breathe. Their little Hongling could stand up on her own!

However, it only lasted a few seconds before the little girl sat down with a "plop".

Xing Zhaozhao didn't mind at all. She happily hugged the little girl and kissed her twice: "Our little Hongling is so amazing. She can stand up by herself."

Little Hongling didn't understand why her mother was so happy, but she knew her mother was praising her. She grinned happily, revealing six tiny white teeth, tilted her head into her mother's arms, rubbed against her, and said, "Mommy, Lingling, Guoguo."

“Does our little Hongling want some fruit? Okay, Mom will get it for you.” Xing Zhaozhao kissed her daughter hard again, then got up and went into the house to get an apple. She washed it in the kitchen, cut a few thin slices for little Hongling to slowly gnaw on with her little teeth, and gave the rest to Hongfei and Hongyu, half for each of them.

"Knock knock." A knock suddenly sounded at the door.
