Chapter 307: That settles everything.

When Xiao Qin saw Liu Feiyue staring at his sack with a strange look in his eyes, he immediately became alert, went over, picked up the sack, and hugged it to his arms: "What do you want to do? This is my sack."

Liu Feiyue reluctantly turned his gaze away from the sack, a pang of pain shooting through his heart. Inside were treasures that should have belonged to them.

However, he did not show any inappropriate emotions on his face. He always had a faint, harmless smile on his face. When he looked at Xiao Qin, he said, "It's nothing. Please don't misunderstand. I just saw a burlap sack on the table and was a little curious, so I took a second look."

"Really?" Xiao Qin asked, still somewhat doubtful.

"Of course." Liu Feiyue said, then nudged Liu Sanchang with his elbow, afraid that Xiao Qinshi wouldn't believe him, and urged him to chime in, "Don't you think so, Sanchang?"

Liu Sanchang looked bewildered, staring blankly at Liu Feiyue: "What is it?"

Liu Feiyue: "..."

Liu Feiyue's forehead twitched: "You just glanced at that sack casually, you didn't mean anything by it."

Liu Sanchang frowned in confusion: "Really? No, that sack was clearly..."

Liu Feiyue suddenly turned his head, as if he wanted to kill someone, and glared fiercely at Liu Sanchang, squeezing out five words through gritted teeth: "I say it is, so it is."

Although Liu Sanchang wasn't very bright, he was very perceptive of danger. When Liu Feiyue glared at him, he immediately swallowed the rest of his sentence, his face hardened, and he nodded firmly without thinking: "Yes, that's right, what Big Brother said is correct."

Liu Feiyue looked at Xiao Qin with a smile and said, "See, I wasn't wrong."

Xiao Qin Shi: "..." He felt like he was being treated like a silly boy.

Xiao Qin looked at Liu Feiyue and felt inexplicably familiar with him: "Have we met somewhere before?"

Liu Feiyue nodded and reminded him, "Wild boars on the mountain."

After thinking carefully, Xiao Qin suddenly realized, "So it was you guys." However, instead of feeling relieved, he became even more nervous, clutching the sack tightly to his chest. His aunt had warned him to be careful of them in the future, so why had they run into him again, and why were they eyeing his sack? Did they know what was inside?

Just then, Fu Lan came out of the kitchen carrying water. It was quite difficult for her to carry three bowls of water with just two hands.

Xing Zhaozhao quickly went over to help take it, then handed it to Liu Feiyue and the other two. Her impatient manner seemed to say, "Drink up, drink up and get out of here."

With Xing Zhaozhao watching him intently from the side, Liu Feiyue had no desire to stay any longer. He quickly finished his water, returned the bowl, and said goodbye to Xing Zhaozhao before leaving.

Xing Zhaozhao personally saw them off, stood at the gate, and kept a close eye on them until they returned to the mountain and completely disappeared into the woods before turning back.

Liu Feiyue and the other two remained hidden in the woods, watching Xing Zhaozhao turn and go back, their heavy expressions showing no sign of easing.

"Are we just going to let it go like this, brother? That little brat stole quite a few things from us. And what about the treasure that girl surnamed Fu that Dong Cang mentioned?" Liu Erxi felt resentful just thinking about it. Although they already had quite a few treasures, who would complain about having too much money?

Liu Feiyue felt a tightness in his chest, but there was nothing he could do; he really couldn't beat her: "If you're so capable, then you do it. If you can handle that woman, I'll listen to you."

Liu Erxi was speechless for a moment, but he was still unwilling to give up. He turned to Liu Sanchang and asked, "Are you really unable to beat him, Sanchang?"

Liu Sanchang shook his head with a stiff face: "I can't beat her. She almost broke my hand just now."

"Really?" Liu Erxi didn't believe it and reached out to pinch Liu Sanchang's wrist, which Xing Zhaozhao had just grabbed.

Liu Sanchang winced in pain and howled, "It hurts!"

Liu Feiyue glanced at Liu Sanchang's wrist, which was noticeably thicker, frowned, and asked with concern, "It's really not broken?"

Liu Sanchang managed to move his wrist: "It's not broken, it might be cracked..."

Liu Feiyue and Liu Erxi: "..." That's not something an ordinary person can do.

Liu Feiyue's face was gloomy. After a moment of contemplation, he reluctantly said, "We can only let it go. Fortunately, we took four more boxes of their treasures, so we're even."

Liu Erxi and Liu Sanchang nodded in agreement. There was nothing they could do; they had to accept this tough opponent.

After seeing Liu Feiyue and the other two off, Xing Zhaozhao carefully closed the door and returned to the house. Just then, she heard a loud howl coming from the woods outside.

Fu Lan and the children were so frightened that they trembled all over.

"What's that sound? Could it be a tiger?" Fu Lan asked worriedly.

Xing Zhaozhao shook her head: "It doesn't sound like a tiger's roar, and tigers don't usually come this way."

"Even if it really is a tiger, our walls are high, and the tiger can't get in," Xing Zhaozhao said, looking at Fu Lan and the younger children.

Fu Lan and the younger children were relieved to hear this.

"Auntie, why did those three people suddenly come here? They kept staring at my sack. Could it be that they knew what was inside and followed me?" Little Qin Shi frowned, looking at Xing Zhaozhao with concern, and asked.

"Have you run into them again since last time?" Xing Zhaozhao asked.

Xiao Qin nodded: "Ever since I met them last time, you haven't let me go too far to collect scrap, so I've just stayed in town and haven't gone out often. I've never run into them again."

Xing Zhaozhao thought for a moment and said, "Perhaps it's just that you didn't see them, but that doesn't mean they didn't see you."

Upon hearing this, Xiao Qinshi became nervous: "What should we do? Should I take all the things back with me? So they won't come looking for trouble with you."

Xing Zhaozhao shook her head and took the sack from his hands: "They already know the things are with me. If they really dared to make a move, they would have done it just now. Since they didn't, it means they don't dare. The things are safe with me. If you take them back, there are only two elderly people at home. If they really come looking for them, that would be a big problem."

Xiao Qin sniffed: "I'm sorry, Auntie, I've caused you trouble."

Xing Zhaozhao smiled and patted his head, saying, "It's not your fault. Actually, I was the one who encouraged you to do it, so I take full responsibility. If you really feel bad about it, I'll give you more money when you get the cash."

Little Qin waved his hand generously, "Give them all to Auntie, I don't want them anymore." Anyway, his family is already well-off.

Xing Zhaozhao chuckled: "Then I'll give you some extra pocket money later?"

Xiao Qin nodded without hesitation and replied, "Then thank you, Auntie."

Xiao Qin stayed at Xing Zhaozhao's place for a whole day, and it wasn't until the sun was about to set in the evening that he carried the large and small bags that Xing Zhaozhao had prepared for him, stuffing them all into sacks and carrying them back home.

Before the sun set and the light was good, Xing Zhaozhao took photos of all the antiques Xiao Qinshi had found with her phone, went to the door, and sent them to Gao Hongfei. They had agreed beforehand that if she found any more treasures, he would get to choose first.

Not long after the photo was sent, Gao Hongfei called.
