Song Xibai thought about it and agreed. After all, she was still just a little girl of ten years old! She was always tense in the East Palace, and it was a rare opportunity for her to come out, so let her have some fun!
So, after packing up her things, Song Xibai took Dingxiang to the front yard for lunch.
Just then, the Crown Prince, who had just woken up from a nap, walked into the main hall.
Seeing the Crown Prince yawning, Song Xibai quickly walked forward.

"The King and Queen of Wu will be returning to the city this afternoon. I would like to ask them to help send a message back to the palace."
As the prince explained, he waved the two letters in his hand.

"Then can we stay at the estate for a few more days?"
"It seems Qingqing quite likes living on the estate? Then let her stay here for now! She can go back when the palace urges her."
Song Xibai's eyes widened slightly: "This will work?"
"Why not? Anyway, I don't have any proper job in the palace."
The crown prince also wanted to relax. The estate was quiet with few people, and everyone there was one of his own, so he felt much more at ease about eating and lodging there.
Song Xibai pursed her lips, her eyes crinkling into crescent moons as she smiled.
"Alright!"
Why wouldn't Song Xibai be willing to live a life of just the two of them with the Crown Prince?
The two held hands intimately, talking with their heads down. Dingxiang, who was standing to the side, was so excited that she covered her eyes with her hands in an exaggerated manner.
"You two really don't treat me like an outsider, do you?"
Song Xibai turned to her and smiled, revealing a set of white teeth.
"Are you envious? If you are, why don't you find one too!"
Dingxiang rolled her eyes: "Don't be like my mother, always pressuring me to get married. I won't consider marriage until I become a famous doctor!"
Song Xibai blinked and exclaimed in surprise, "You've agreed? Oh my! I'd better write to my aunt right away and tell her this good news."
Dingxiang stomped her foot in anger.
"You and my mother were having an affair! That's outrageous!"
The Crown Prince coughed heavily: "This is not called secret communication; this is clearly a legitimate exchange of messages."
Song Xibai covered her mouth and chuckled softly.
Dingxiang snorted twice, ignored the two of them, and ran out.
Song Xibai tugged at the Crown Prince's belt, her eyes filled with mockery.
"Your Highness can joke and tease people now? That's truly rare!"
The crown prince raised one eyebrow.
"In Qingqing's eyes, am I a serious, rigid, and unromantic person?"
Song Xibai put on a thoughtful expression, and then actually nodded.
"Yes! My impression of Your Highness is that you are upright, polite, and very reliable."
I thought the Crown Prince would be pleased to hear this, but to my surprise, his eyebrows drooped after I finished speaking.
Song Xibai thought about it and realized she hadn't said anything wrong! Why was the Crown Prince still unhappy?
She tugged at the prince's hand.
"Your Highness?"
The crown prince remained silent.
Song Xibai then tried to pull at his belt.
"Yuan Shen?"
Then, the prince's face turned red at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Song Xibai was stunned for a moment, then confused, and then realized what was going on. She immediately shook off his belt in annoyance.
"Your Highness! Can't you think about something serious?!"
The prince, no longer embarrassed, reached out and put his arm around her waist, grinning as he moved closer.
"Confucius said that food and sex are human nature. This is just human nature, how is it improper? You have wronged me, my love."
As he spoke, he rubbed his nose against Song Xibai's cheek.
Song Xibai's sideburns were slightly upturned, tickling him. At that moment, a few apricot petals fell from her hair and landed right on the prince's nose.
When Song Xibai turned around and saw this scene, he felt both amused and heartwarming.
She suppressed a laugh, raised her hand to remove the flower petals, and then deliberately pulled her upper body away to examine the prince's face.
"Your Highness is exceptionally handsome; he would look beautiful if he wore flowers in his hair."
The prince touched his nose.
"What real man would wear flowers in his hair?"
Song Xibai raised an eyebrow: "Wasn't it fashionable for men to wear flowers in their hair during the Song Dynasty? Would Your Highness like to try it?"
When the Crown Prince refused, Song Xibai shook his arm and acted coquettishly.
"Is it good? Is it really good?"
Having lived two lifetimes, Song Xibai never imagined that she would one day use such a coquettish tone.
Although it's a bit sentimental, I inexplicably feel quite happy.
The Crown Prince was unwilling to live that way, feeling it would damage his masculinity. But after being persuaded by Song Xibai for a while, he wavered.

Song Xibai felt like her head was about to burst into smoke, so she quickly covered her mouth and glared fiercely at the Crown Prince.

I'm going to die! Why does the Crown Prince's gaze seem to be electrifying?
Even though she hadn't done anything, Song Xibai felt a tingling, itchy sensation all over her body.
Just as the two were playfully entangled, a scream suddenly rang out from outside, shattering the romantic atmosphere inside the room.
"Something terrible has happened!"
