Liao Xiaoe jumped up and landed lightly, then bowed.
The classroom was filled with thunderous applause. In this lively atmosphere, Nari suddenly stood up from the crowd. Her action was so sudden that everyone around her looked up at her, and the applause stopped.
Yang Feiyu looked bewildered. She stared blankly at Nali standing tall beside her, then looked at Liao Xiaoe. Then she reacted and stretched out a hand to pull Nali's fingers.
So cold!
Yang Feiyu felt a little pricked by the warmth from the fingers, and quickly withdrew her hand. She looked at the people around her awkwardly, feeling a little at a loss.
"Is there something wrong?" The first person to ask was a girl who had been standing by the wall of the classroom. She was also a member of the ballet troupe and had helped Nari stretch her legs before.
Nari rolled her eyes slowly and finally came to her senses. Her back was covered with a layer of sweat, which soaked the fabric of her tight-fitting dance costume and brought a slightly sticky feeling.
"It's okay, I was just too fascinated and amazed by the last jump." She waved her hands awkwardly, but if anyone looked closely, they would find that her hands and legs were shaking slightly.
Obviously, there was no one among the crowd who was so careful.
They laughed a few times and agreed with Nari's description of "stunning", describing how fast their heartbeats were and how excited they were.
Nari sat down again. Yang Feiyu smiled and bumped her shoulder: "Is the society dead?"
Nari nodded helplessly. The conversation session of raising hands to ask questions had already begun. Liao Xiaoe sat down on the floor with them and answered everyone's questions one by one in a gentle manner. The scene was like a fan meeting.
Or maybe it was.
Yang Feiyu couldn't wait to sit in the front, but Nali didn't follow, so all of a sudden, her position fell behind everyone else.
She stared at her palm in a daze. It was wet, red and white, with several deep nail marks emitting a fine and dense pain.
In the mirror opposite, everything she had seen before had disappeared, as if she had had a nightmare that no one knew about.
No one would know that she saw Liao Xiaoe falling from the sky in the mirror like a swan shot by an arrow, and the clear click sound even drowned out the sad melody.
Liao Xiaoe in the mirror screamed in agony, his face as pale as a ghost sent to the eighteenth level of hell.
Nari heard her yell, "My legs! My legs!"
Her legs couldn't move, so she crawled on her hands. Nari saw her lower body dragging on the ground like a rag.
It was clearly a very painful scene, but in the mirror, everyone around had an excited look on their faces, and Nari saw their white teeth showing because of their smiles.
They applauded, joining the applause of the people outside the mirror. This was why Nari stood up suddenly. For a moment, she felt as if the inside and outside of the mirror had merged into one.
Fortunately it was a false alarm.
After the Q&A session, everyone was taught a few simple moves, and then it was soon time for the lunch break, and they gathered again at two o'clock in the afternoon.
"I'm so happy." Yang Feiyu held her face and looked at the backs of Liao Xiaoe and the others as they left. Nali didn't say anything. She was a little surprised that Liao Xiaoe and the others actually went back into the locker room where the incident happened in the morning.
"Are you hungry?" Yang Feiyu came back to her senses after Liao Xiaoe's figure disappeared from her sight and turned to ask Nari.
The latter shook his head: "Not bad."
"I get hungry pretty quickly." Yang Feiyu touched her stomach. "Maybe after these three days, I can lose some weight."
Obviously, there were many people who were as hungry as Yang Feiyu. The cafeteria was packed with people, and it took them a long time to queue up. Yang Feiyu had the habit of taking a nap at noon, but Nali didn't, so she told Yang Feiyu and decided to walk around and take a look.
"You're out, so please turn down the air conditioner." Yang Feiyu flopped down on the bed with her arms and legs spread out, her voice becoming lazy.
Nari wiped the sweat from her temples, wiped it with a tissue, and then walked over to check the temperature of the air conditioner. It was 23 degrees. It was strange. The room shouldn't be stuffy at this temperature.
Maybe the air conditioner is not working well... she thought, and lowered the temperature a few degrees. She stayed in the room with the air conditioner on for a while before going out.
"Hmm..." It was a little hotter outside than inside the room. Originally, I wouldn't feel it if I were alone in any place, but with Nari going in and out, the contrast became much more obvious.
The body that had just cooled down gradually felt hot again. Nari had something on her mind, so she walked faster, until a portrait fell in front of her.
"ah!"
Someone who was about to return to the room happened to pass by her side and was startled by the noise. She jumped back a step and then looked at Nari who seemed to be frightened: "Sister, are you okay?"
Nari took a deep breath, looked at her, and shook her head: "It's okay."
"We need to call someone over here, a staff member or something..." The man hesitated, looking at the back of the gray-brown frame of the portrait on the ground. Nari nodded.
"It's okay. I'm just about to go down. I'll just tell them and ask someone to take care of it."
"Oh, okay. Thank you for your hard work." The other party hesitated for a moment and said, "Then... I'll go first?"
"Um."
After the other person left, Nari squatted down and touched the portrait with her hand. Out of some inexplicable intuition, Nari felt that its falling seemed like some kind of warning, but she didn't know what it was warning her about.
She picked up the fallen portrait and leaned it against the wall. There were several deep cracks on the glass of the frame, but it had not yet completely fallen apart.
The people in the paintings were still smiling at the people outside the paintings, but when she looked at them from such a close distance, Nari no longer felt the creepy feeling that was following her like a shadow. She suddenly felt that perhaps the people in the paintings were not looking at her or them at all.
Could it be that these people are looking at themselves? It's like looking in a mirror.
The glass on the picture frame is their mirror, and they are looking at themselves in the mirror!
In an instant, her complicated thoughts suddenly found an outlet, and Nari suddenly loosened her hand that was holding the picture frame. She didn't know what the person who designed this layout was thinking, but perhaps the other person had also seen a different picture in the mirror, so he used this obscure hint.
