It's time to hunt for food.

Fafafa had thought about it, but he didn't expect that he would be discovered by the militia as soon as he approached the town, and that Aug would be so ruthless.

That's right, Aug doesn't care at all whether Lauren who returned is the original soul or not.

He only cared that Lauren had brazenly sneaked out during the lockdown period he had ordered to forbid, challenging his authority.

Those who stand in his way, whether priests or strangers, will all be "sweeped away" by him.

Regardless of why the boy went out or why he came back, whether his body housed a human or a demon's soul, his fate was sealed the moment he stepped out of the town's borders.

Fafafa calmly replied, "What makes you think you can accuse me of being a demon?"

"Just because..."

Aug suddenly snatched a torch from someone nearby and threw it at "Lauren".

Fafafa: "Damn it!"

Trigger the passive effect, negating one nighttime attack.

Fafafa was truly enraged this time. The dungeon was garbage, the NPCs were garbage, and they destroyed two of his life-saving items in one day!

Admittedly, this was partly due to his carelessness; however, it is difficult for people to admit their mistakes.

For a fleeting moment, Fafafa had a real urge to kill these NPCs, but he quickly calmed down.

Even if it means mutual destruction, it has to be mutual destruction with the other players. These natives aren't worth him throwing away his trump cards.

Fafafa's gaze darkened, and he said, "I am protected by the gods, so naturally I will not be harmed by your petty tricks."

When Aug discovered that he truly possessed evil magic and wasn't just boasting, he became hesitant to act rashly, fearing that if he pushed the suspected demonic entity too far, it might perish together with him.

He waved his hand, ordering his men to take him to the dungeon.

"Are you a child of God or a messenger of evil? Tomorrow at noon, we will hold a fair trial in the square."

That's right, Aug is preparing to use an inexplicable power to eliminate the mysteriously returned "Lauren".

The stranger from yesterday died suddenly for some unknown reason, but Aug knew that he must have violated some taboo.

demon?

Even the devil must be used by him!

Dark emotions surged within Aug. Since his soul was destined to never find peace, why not fall even more completely?

He would rather die than let the lives of others be paramount!

Fafa remained silent the whole way until he was shackled and locked in the dungeon.

He planned to find an opportunity to slip away. He had already planned it all out on the way: first, he would use a prop to take out a militia squad, then disguise himself as him and swagger out.

The town's dungeon had been abandoned for a long time. The cells were filled with a foul stench, dark and cold, and huge rats crawled all over the floor.

Besides Fafafa, there was no other prisoner.

The militia members were also disgusted with him, so they threw him inside and immediately turned and left.

Just as Fafafa was about to materialize his weapon, he discovered that someone had already killed the militia guards.

Under the cold moonlight, blood gushed out, drawing a cruel arc in mid-air.

The moment it went into a state of alert, it went into a state of high alert.

A wisp of black smoke darted in through the crack in the iron window, coalescing into a cloud of black mist in front of Fafafa. The black mist condensed and grew larger and larger, eventually forming a black cocoon.

Immediately afterwards, a pair of slender, jade-like hands emerged from inside the cocoon, parting the huge black cocoon from the middle, and an incomparably beautiful woman walked out of the black cocoon.

Her skin was like milk, her eyes like stars, her chin like a crescent moon, her gait like a cat's, and the bells on her ankles jingled.

Her eyes were slightly upturned, and her gaze was extremely seductive.

Fafafa had no interest in appreciating beauty; a woman's smile had become, in his eyes, the flicking tongue of a venomous snake.

A femme fatale, no matter how beautiful, is still a femme fatale.

"You're a player? What do you want from me?"

Fafafa's mind raced with thoughts. He had used up nearly half of his healing and survival items, and his skills were primarily supportive. Unless absolutely necessary, he tried to avoid direct confrontations with other players.

This woman seems to have teleportation or similar abilities, making her more difficult to fight.

The woman smiled slightly, looking at Fafa as if she were looking at a foolish child.

A small wooden doll appeared out of thin air in her hand, its head made of a ball wrapped in cotton wool.

"You know, everything comes together; if there's a substitute doll, there's also a cursed doll."

Her voice was soft and charming, but the words she uttered sent chills down Fafafa's spine.

The woman suddenly grabbed Fafafa's wrist and pressed herself closer to his body. Her hand was as cold as jade, and the chill seeped into Fafafa's heart from their touching skin.

The woman was too close; an indescribable aura enveloped Fafa, not strong but hard to ignore.

The next second, without warning, an axe appeared in Fafafa's hand, and he slashed fiercely at the woman in front of him.

"Do you think I'll just let myself be slaughtered?"

With one swing of the axe, the wooden doll's head was severed, but the woman remained unharmed.

Fafafa was surprised to find that one of his life-saving items had disappeared. Looking at the woman who was handling things with ease, he immediately realized that the two of them were not on the same level.

Completely exhausted, he collapsed to the ground and said quickly, "I can help you! Let's take care of the other players and beat the game! I... I still have 10 medkits..."

"That's great..." A hint of ruthlessness flashed in the woman's teasing eyes. "Seeing you so energetic, I'm so envious. My stamina is almost completely depleted."

It's over.

Even though his head was still intact on his neck, Fafafa had a premonition of the future: it was all over.

The legends among players are true; there really is a demonic woman who takes pleasure in tormenting other players and revels in the dangers of survival games.

Then Fafafa noticed that the woman's face began to change; her eyes bulged, her blood-red lips split open towards her ears, and her skin turned incredibly pale.

"Help!"

Fafa violently shook off the woman's hands, shakily got up, but before he could take two steps, he was entangled by the black mist that extended outwards.

A chill seeped into the bones, plunging the dungeon into a deep, inky darkness.

Fafafa's body trembled like a sieve, and his screams were drowned out by the black mist that kept rushing into his mouth and nose.

The woman hugged Fafafa from behind, exhaling a sweet breath, her beautiful face now contorted like a demon.

He struggled to grab the woman's hands, his fingernails leaving red marks on the back of her hands.

"Cough cough cough! Let... let go..."

The night bells rang, and the clouds obscured the moonlight.

A hint of red flickered in the woman's eyes, her uneven teeth sharpened, her fingernails suddenly grew long and hard as steel, and two black wings tore through her clothing, revealing themselves from behind.

It's time to hunt for food.

Black bat wings ripped through her clothes, and she opened her scarlet lips, her sharp teeth flashing silver, before sinking into Fafafa's neck.
