Xu Nuo would take a sip of herbal water every now and then, while a young man sitting opposite her had been openly and secretly observing her for quite some time.
The man's eyes gleamed with amazement, and his smile had a touch of lewdness. Several elderly women on the bus were chatting, so he boldly struck up a conversation: "Young comrade, are you going to Luxian Village?"
Xu Nuo was feeling carsick and didn't want to talk to him, so she just nodded politely.
The man was overjoyed to see that the beautiful woman had responded. He rubbed his hands excitedly and said, "I'm from the neighboring Gaoshan Village. My uncle is the production team leader in our village. My name is Gao Aimin. What's your name?"

It wasn't a harvest season or a supply day, so only Li Xian and Xu Nuo from the city came to the village.
Everyone had left, and the car was empty, so Li Xian moved to the side.
The sky was dark and gloomy, as if a torrential downpour was about to fall.
Xu Nuo was dozing off with her eyes closed, leaning against the truck bed, when suddenly the world spun around her and she fell to the side.
Before she could even scream, a warm body had already wrapped her tightly in its arms.
Xu Nuo opened her eyes in terror and saw those slightly raised eyes. The tension and fear in his eyes made her gasp.
Li Xian placed one hand behind her head and the other around her back, protecting her completely.
The two of them fell onto the haystack together.
The tractor was stuck on the mountain road, seemingly about to fall off.
If it falls, it will hit the two of them squarely.
Li Xian quickly stood up and led Xu Nuo away from that spot. He looked down at Xu Nuo and asked, "Are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?"
Xu Nuo shook her head and went to look at Mr. Wang, who was driving.
Master Wang also fell quite hard, groaning as he got up, covered in mud and water.
He had been watching the sky darken, thinking it was about to rain heavily, and was thinking of driving faster, but he didn't expect the car to slip and veer off the mountain road.
Fortunately, the ground wasn't deep; it was just a haystack. If it had been higher, he might have fallen to his death.
