"Where's the food?"
Mugson couldn't hold back any longer and asked Kerviel, who was slumped in his chair.
The other person lazily glanced at him, lifting their eyelids, and said, "Finished eating."
Finished eating?
"No, you ate it all?"
Perhaps his expression was too shocked, Kerviel shifted his posture and shrugged, "What else?"
"You didn't leave any for me?"
That hit the nail on the head. Kerviel felt a little guilty and touched his nose. "I was just too hungry, you know?"
"We're all brothers, and we all have our difficult times. Please try to understand."
Understand my ass!
Mugson was speechless. Just moments before, in the forest, he had been all about brotherhood, ready to risk his life for his brothers.
Then it turned into, "Everyone has difficult times, let's try to understand."
So, you think you can just throw away your brotherhood like that?
Kerviel looked up and down, feeling a little embarrassed. This was just too delicious!
Seeing that he hadn't eaten, he thought he'd try it first to avoid any potential problems for him.
Who knew we'd finish eating it all?
It must be because the portion was too small.
Kerwell puffed out his belly, his eyes lighting up. "It's because we didn't order enough food. You wait, I'll order you some new food now."
Mugsen looked at him with a mixture of belief and skepticism.
Watching the other person place their order while looking at a long list of dishes on the electronic screen.
He quickly stopped him, saying, "Alright, alright, I'll only order two dishes at most since it's just me."
Kerwell turned to look at him, his eyes filled with inexplicable grievance. Mugesen was puzzled, then heard what the other man said.
"Are we still brothers? Are you eating all by yourself?"
Mugesen: ? ? ?
He was almost laughing at the absurdity of it; he forced a smile and looked at the other person.
"Are you a pig? How can you eat so much?"
Kerwell nodded shamelessly, "So what? It's the perfect time for you to grow."
Mugesen's gaze swept over him strangely, finally settling on his bulging belly. "Growing taller?"
Are you sure you're not just gaining weight?
Kerviel was embarrassed. He tried to suck in his stomach, but when he couldn't, he simply gave up and said, "So what?"
"Can't I just want to eat it?"
The other person calmly nodded, "Just say it directly."
It makes me sound so childish.
Kerwell mentally gave the middle finger, then suddenly remembered something. He enthusiastically opened his Star Brain and skillfully accessed the dormitory group chat.
Kerviel: [Have you arrived yet?]
Darian: [What? There's still a meal's distance.]
Yang Ze: [Not yet.]
Kerviel: [Let me tell you, this restaurant here is absolutely delicious!!]
You absolutely have to try it!
Kerviel looked at the recommendation he had posted and couldn't help but laugh, but his expression immediately turned blank.
Darian: [...]
Yang Ze: [If you've been fooled, just blink.]
Darian: [It's really strange that there's a restaurant in this desolate place, and you're telling me it's delicious?]
Even when trying to fool a ghost, you need to find someone easy to fool.
Kerviel: [Damn it, nobody believes me when I tell the truth!]
I'll see how you regret it later.
He immediately closed the dormitory group chat and opened another page.
A forum post from the Federal Military Academy.
Noon is the most active time, with an astonishing number of comments layered upon layer.
A post was quietly pushed to the top.
Everyone clicked in hoping to have some fun, but what they found was a barrage of insults, followed by expressions of sympathy and apologies.
What's going on?
The poster only posted one simple comment.
For meat lovers: [Highly recommend this hellishly delicious restaurant on a desolate planet!]
The IP address below shows: Tadar Star.
Isn't this the testing ground for freshmen?
Is the poster a freshman in college?
[Hilarious! Everyone knows that desolate planets are for trials.]
[Has the poster lost their mind?]
[Assessment complete; suspected hallucinations during the Desolate Planet Trial.]
[Seriously? ***Freshmen are so emotionally fragile.]
I think I still have time to browse the forums...
Kerviel was furious; his fingers flew across the keyboard as he muttered to himself.
He refuted all the comments that mocked or pitied him, one by one.
Unfortunately, no one believed him.
Seeing the flood of sympathy in the post,
Everyone urged him to come back quickly and go to the hospital for a check-up.
He was so angry he had a heart attack and slammed his computer on the table.
"Damn a bunch of brainless lunatics!"
Sitting opposite him, Mugesen watched his series of actions speechlessly, from a smile to a ferocious expression, all in just a few seconds.
He was just about to speak when the dishes he ordered were served.
The glossy, oily braised pork immediately caught his eye.
Before he could even pick up his chopsticks, he saw Kerwell across from him snap out of his daze, pick up his Star Brain again, and excitedly tap it twice.
"I don't think they believe me yet."
"Now there are pictures to prove it."
He casually fiddled with the Star Brain a couple of times, then tossed it aside, his eyes burning as he stared intently at the three dishes on the table.
The braised pork belly was a bright red color, the dry pot shrimp was golden and crispy, and there was a dish with eggs, meat, and green peppers.
He glanced at the strange dish a few more times, then belatedly realized what was going on.
It seems they ordered a novel dish.
And it seems to be a newly released product.
He saw the update as soon as it appeared on the screen.
"A bowl of rice from a farmhouse is so delicious?"
"The name is quite interesting; it turns out to be chili peppers, eggs, and meat."
This was the first time he had ever seen such a novel approach.
