Chapter Seventy-Four: Pickled Bamboo Shoots

"My pickled peppers are ready, let me come and see."

Ling Miao patted her trouser leg, straightened up, and laughed again, "It's all because I have a bad memory. I was going to soak some chicken feet, but after I finished everything, I realized I hadn't prepared any chicken feet."

"Phoenix feet?"

What is that?

The two spoke in unison.

Meeting two pairs of curious eyes, Ling Miao slapped her forehead, "Look at my memory!"

She explained, "It's chicken feet."

"Is this delicious?"

Rella's gaze fell on Ling Miao's back, where rows of transparent jars were neatly arranged against the wall.

Behind Ling Miao was a jar of yellow millet peppers.

Soaked in the jar, it emits a strong sour aroma.

Rella's nose was a little itchy, and she suppressed the urge to ask, "Is this pickled pepper?" in a muffled voice.

"right."

Ling Miao nodded. There were still a few pickled peppers left in the spoon. She picked up a few and handed them over, saying, "Try them."

The two reached out and took it. Susan tossed it in carelessly, her eyes suddenly widening and her nostrils flaring.

It took a while before it hissed.

"This is way too spicy..."

"It's still sour."

Rella slurred, her eyes reddening, with a hint of tears glistening in them.

"Isn't it delicious?"

Ling Miao asked with a smile.

The two wanted to roll their eyes, but their tongues couldn't help but savor the stimulating taste from before; it was indeed delicious.

They both nodded, and Susan asked, "Is this also a seasoning?"

Ling Miao nodded, "It can also be used as a seasoning."

"You can also eat it as a snack if you like."

It's quite appetizing, after all.

She said it so casually, causing the two people opposite her to roll their eyes simultaneously. So spicy, who would want to eat it plain?

"Oh right, didn't you say you wanted chicken feet?"

Ling Miao opened her Star Brain, "That's right, if we buy it now, it won't arrive until tomorrow."

Ling Miao was speechless about the interstellar logistics; it was all because she lived in such a remote and isolated place.

She's gotten used to even the shipping costs after buying so many items.

Indeed, habit is the greatest enemy.

She thought silently as she browsed the shops on the StarNet website.

Rella and Susan exchanged a glance and couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you going to check the trading group?"

Previously, in order to recruit people, I specifically asked Evan to add her to the group, but after she posted the recruitment information in the group, she never spoke again.

She had almost forgotten about this group chat.

Surprisingly, Susan and Rella still remembered.

If her food problem could be solved nearby, then looking at the StarNet would indeed be going the long way around.

She opened the group chat and scrolled up to browse it bit by bit.

As luck would have it, there were indeed a few chicken slaughterhouses there.

Now, even the chicken giblets for dinner are taken care of!
