To everyone's surprise, Sun Yuxin's expression changed slightly, and a hint of disappointment appeared in her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure.
"Brother Lin Yuan, I know you have a fiancée, but I also know you're a good person. I just want you to know that I will always be there for you, whether you have a fiancée or not, I will always be good to you."
Lin Yuan's eyes widened.
He didn't expect Sun Yuxin to say such a thing, and to say it so seriously.

Then, he couldn't help but chuckle softly and gently patted Sun Yuxin's shoulder.
“Sun Yuxin, you are a good girl, but I really can’t accept you. You are still young and should have your own life and future, instead of giving up everything because of me. Just treat me as your brother, and I will take care of you.”
Upon hearing Lin Yuan's words, Sun Yuxin quickly smiled again, but a hint of disappointment flashed in her eyes, unnoticed.
"Brother Lin Yuan, I understand. Then please stay with us for the night as a way of repaying us for your help today."
Lin Yuan felt a slight tremor in his heart when he saw Sun Yuxin's expectant eyes.
He nodded and gently patted the girl's forehead with his large hand.
"Okay, I'll stay, but don't overthink it. I just don't want you to worry."
Hopefully, Sun Yuxin will realize her true feelings soon and not do anything she will regret because of a momentary impulse.
He couldn't let Liu Xinran and Xia Qingxue down, but he wouldn't reject Sun Yuxin because of that; after all, she was just a simple younger sister.
When Sun Yuxin heard Lin Yuan agree, a bright smile instantly appeared on her face.
She hugged Lin Yuan's arm and said sweetly, "Brother Lin Yuan, you're so good to me!"
Then, he excitedly jumped up and down in the living room.
Lin Yuan simply patted Sun Yuxin's shoulder lightly, but his eyes inadvertently swept over Sun Xinyi beside him.
Sun Xinyi stood to the side, her eyes revealing a complex expression.
She watched Lin Yuan and Sun Yuxin's intimate actions and had a slight bad feeling in her heart, but she said nothing.
As expected, Sun Yuxin appeared in Lin Yuan's room that night.
She took off her outer clothes one by one until she was left with only her thin underwear.
A half-naked body quickly entered Lin Yuan's bed.
The cold hands and feet instantly brought Lin Yuan back to his senses.
Lin Yuan quickly gave the bed to Sun Yuxin, and then got out of bed to sleep on the floor.
Sun Yuxin lay on the bed, her eyes revealing a hint of excitement and anticipation.
She watched as Lin Yuan spread out the blankets on the floor, then frowned and said softly, "Brother Lin Yuan, if you're tired, come up and sleep. I don't mind."
Lying on the ground, Lin Yuan dared not look at the half-naked girl on the bed. He simply closed his eyes, smiled, and shook his head.
"No need, I'll sleep on the floor. You should get some rest."
Sun Yuxin stubbornly shook her head, biting her lip, her tone revealing a hint of defiance.
“Brother Lin Yuan, I know you mean well, but I also want to take care of you. It will break my heart if you sleep on the floor.”
Lin Yuan had never seen a young girl beg to share a bed with him in the middle of the night before, and his heart was pounding.
Finally, he remained silent for a moment, then sighed softly.
"Sun Yuxin, don't be like this. We're still good siblings. You should rest well. I'm fine."
Sun Yuxin watched Lin Yuan remain unmoved. Her gaze gradually calmed, and a slight pang of sadness welled up inside her; she felt she had made a fool of herself.
But she knew she had made up her mind to follow Lin Yuan, no matter what he thought.
That night, Lin Yuan slept on the floor, while Sun Yuxin remained in bed; nothing happened between them.
