Today, Jiang Yue did not take Ningning to the cafeteria for breakfast. She cooked a bowl of noodles at home. After having breakfast with Ningning, she packed her things and pushed her bicycle out.
Before going to bed last night, Gu Ye had fixed a small wicker chair on the back seat of the bicycle. Jiang Yue held Ningning and sat on it. There was a small armrest in front of the chair for Ningning to hold on to. Jiang Yue rode around twice and made sure that Ningning was safe sitting in the back before he rode his bicycle out of the family compound with peace of mind.
Jiang Yue went straight to the supply and marketing cooperative in the county town. At nine o'clock, there were not many people in the cooperative. After cleaning, several sales clerks were lying on the counter, some catching up on sleep or chatting.
The cloth seller was a young girl about Jiang Yue's age, but her elder sister was not there that day.
But the elder sister had obviously told the girl, so when the girl saw Jiang Yue, she smiled and said, "You want to buy cloth, right? Come with me!"
Jiang Yue was surprised when she heard this, and the girl explained, "Sister Xie told me that you didn't come yesterday, and she asked for leave today because she had something else to do. She said that if you came, she would ask me to take you to see the cloth."
"Oh, I see!" Jiang Yue followed the young girl to the warehouse.
What surprised Jiang Yue was that the cloth the young girl showed her this time was very good in both pattern and material, and there were no flaws at all. It did not look like processed cloth at all.
"How is it? Are you satisfied?" the young girl asked quietly, covering her mouth.
Jiang Yue looked up at her and asked in confusion, "Don't you need tickets for these cloths?"
The young girl nodded mysteriously, "If you buy it, I won't take your ticket!"
"Ah? Why?" Jiang Yue didn't understand.
