He clearly looks like a student.
Because he didn't want to turn on the air conditioning, he rolled down the car window.
The irresistible aroma of stewed beef and potatoes wafted into Yang Fan's nose.
"It really smells delicious, no wonder so many people come here." Yang Fan suddenly realized.
Without a doubt, just from the aroma, even without eating it, one would know that this boxed lunch is far superior to the food in his cafeteria.
No wonder so many students come here to eat.
He couldn't understand it.
The shop owner is clearly a college student; how could he possibly make such delicious boxed lunches?
His small eyes narrowed, and a blue light reflected from the lenses of his glasses.
Take another look at the students who bought boxed lunches.
Goodness, everyone's starting to eat right here.
They all wolfed down their food.
The scene was so bad that anyone who didn't know better would think they were possessed.
It's very strange.
"Wait a minute, something doesn't seem right." He had never seen anyone cook food that made people eat so frantically.
Even someone like him, who is used to eating countless delicacies, almost wanted to rush up and buy some just from the smell.
As he thought about it, he felt more and more uneasy.
He suspected that the dish might contain something addictive.
Besides, even if a Michelin three-star chef were to emerge, it wouldn't necessarily drive so many students crazy.
So this is probably the truth.
pretty close.
Thinking of this, he finally felt relieved.
"Hehe, if you put this kind of stuff in your food, don't blame me for reporting you."
"For no other reason than to ensure that all students at Peking University can have healthy meals, I will fight to the very end," Yang Fan chuckled.
Without hesitation, he picked up his phone and dialed the Kyoto City Food Safety Supervision and Reporting Hotline.
After a few beeps, the call was connected.
"Hello, is this the Food Safety Bureau? I am Yang Fan, the owner of the Kyoto University cafeteria. I am now filing a formal complaint against a restaurant selling boxed lunches on the Kyoto University campus. I suspect that they are putting something addictive in the food."
"Many students have already become addicted to his food. Considering the large number of students involved and the urgency of the matter, we need to trouble you to send relevant testing experts over immediately to conduct tests."
After hearing this, the girl on the other end of the phone hesitated for a moment before replying directly, "Okay, tell me the address and the name of the relevant store, and I'll report it to my supervisor and send someone to handle it immediately."
After hanging up the phone, Yang Fan didn't leave; he wanted to wait there for the food safety bureau to arrive.
The Kyoto city government is quite efficient.
Less than twenty minutes later, he saw an official vehicle with the words "Food Safety Bureau" written on it drive up.
He quickly got out of the car, waved to them, and indicated that he was the whistleblower.
The official vehicle stopped, and a male and a female staff member got out.
Their black uniforms had the words "Food Safety Officer" printed in large letters on the back, revealing their identity.
The male safety officer asked Yang Fan, "So you're the one who reported that someone put something addictive in the lunchboxes, right?"
Yang Fan nodded repeatedly, his excitement barely contained on his face: "Yes, that's the shop." Yang Fan pointed in the direction of Lu Rong's shop.
The two staff members looked in the direction he was pointing.
“Look at those students, they’re eating so frantically, it’s obvious they’re addicted. I’ve seen people like that before.”
The two safety officers were quite frightened when they saw this.
Good heavens, it was bustling with activity; a hundred or two people were frantically eating boxed lunches on the spot.
It was as if they were bewitched.
There were no seats available, so people just stood and ate.
This was the first time they had ever seen such a scene, and they immediately took it seriously.
It seems there's definitely something wrong with the food at this restaurant.
The two staff members exchanged a glance and then walked together toward Lu Rong's location.
Lu Rong is serving customers stewed beef with potatoes at his stall.
Business is booming every day, and he's getting more and more excited.
Just then, he noticed two people in official uniforms walking toward his shop.
A man and a woman; the man was very tall and had a serious expression.
The woman was fair-skinned and clean-cut, with a small ponytail, and a very tall figure.
The male security guard waved and shouted, "Everyone, stop! We received a report that there might be something wrong with the food at this restaurant, so we've come to check."
His voice was loud enough for everyone around him to hear.
The students in line were also completely bewildered, looking on with no idea what was going on.
"Yeah, yeah, everyone, don't be fooled by this guy. I strongly suspect there's something addictive in this dish," Yang Fan quickly chimed in.
Upon seeing the person in front of him, Lu Rong instantly recognized him as Yang Fan, the owner of the cafeteria.
I've seen him a few times before when I ate in the cafeteria.
Seeing how proactive Yang Fan was, Lu Rong guessed that he must have been the one who reported it.
He must have been envious of my business success, so he resorted to this tactic.
Of course, Lu Rong was not worried about the inspection.
He still has confidence in his own work.
Whether it's the selection of ingredients, the use of materials, or the entire cooking process, I personally oversee the hygiene aspects.
You can rest assured.
Moreover, everyone here is doing business on campus, and they have paid their due rent; they are doing legitimate business.
