Chapter Fifty-Eight: Arranging School Enrollment for the Three Children

Li Guihua sobbed as she spoke, but only she knew the torment and struggle she had endured in the face of the outsider who had taken over her daughter's body.

Su An could sense that Li Guihua's words came from the heart, which was why her heart ached even more.

She had thought her adopted mother was a freebie, but it turned out she had always been tolerant and accepting of her.

That loving, tearful gaze brought a lump to Su An's throat, and he couldn't help but hug Li Guihua tightly, choking back tears as he said, "Mom!"

Li Guihua was stunned. Even though she couldn't understand what was being shouted, she could roughly guess what it was.

She nodded with tears in her eyes, patting her daughter's back and comforting her while both crying and laughing.

"Good boy, good boy..."

But just when she thought she had found her beloved daughter again, she was about to leave her once more!

Li Guihua was crying uncontrollably, and upon seeing this, Su Ting and Su Yue both realized what was happening.

They were simple-minded. Although they understood what Su An was saying, they did not feel any aversion to this outsider. They quickly recovered and rushed over to her, crying.

"Waaah, big sister, no matter who you are, you're still Yueyue's big sister!" Little Su Yue cried, tears streaming down her face.

Su Ting wiped his wet face and gritted his teeth, saying, "It's just poisoning. If Doctor Xie can't cure it, we'll find other doctors. There must be Doctor Chen and Doctor Li!"

"Anyway, big sister, you're not allowed to leave us again!"

Su An saw this, feeling both touched and saddened. She smiled through her tears and gently rubbed their heads, "Alright..."

"Fake!"

At this moment, Su Jiang, who had been silent all along, suddenly roared with red eyes and grabbed the two siblings.

"Don't call her 'big sister,' she isn't!"

Su Jiang's face was filled with struggle, his lips were almost bleeding, and he stared at Su An like a trapped beast, "Tell me quickly, where is our real eldest sister!"

The second son is sensitive and, as expected, cannot easily accept such a thing.

Su An felt a tightness in her chest, but she could understand. Looking at him, she said hoarsely, "She... when I possessed her body, she had already passed away from illness."

You're lying!

At this moment, Su Jiang's gaze towards her was conflicted, with a hint of resentment and hatred flashing across his eyes.

"My older sister just fainted! It was you, you took over her body, you killed my older sister!"

"You're not allowed to say that!" Su Yue angrily shoved him and ran over to stand next to Su An.

“My eldest sister is still my older sister. She’s been so good to us and worked so hard for our family. Second brother, have you forgotten all about her?”

Su Ting bit his lip and glanced at Su An. Even his thick-skinned self thought his little sister was right. "That's right, Second Brother. Our eldest sister had a hard life before and passed away, but now she treats us like her own brothers. We can't repay kindness with enmity."

"You—" Su Jiang's eyes grew even redder, and he gritted his teeth, "Anyway, there's no way I'll acknowledge her!"

After saying that, he ignored everyone and angrily turned and ran away.

Seeing this, it would be a lie to say that Su An wasn't upset; she sighed with guilt and disappointment.

"Don't let his mature appearance fool you, he can be incredibly stubborn. Don't take it to heart, Xiao An, he'll see the light in a few days," Li Guihua comforted him.

"Mm!" Su An didn't want her mother to worry anymore, so she forced a faint smile.

"Oh, right, there's also the matter of Sanwa going to school..."

Su An remembered something and then mentioned the arrangements with Zhou Li.

The young prince was quite reliable. After investigating the school in a few days, he personally led the third child to experience it.

Although the second son had no background, he was talented, diligent and eager to learn, and was accepted by the best school in the county.

When the third son, Su Ting, arrived, he got a headache whenever he heard the sound of reading aloud. He couldn't sit still and kept running around. He ended up at the arithmetic school and was immediately attracted when he saw the students quickly manipulating abacuses. He shouted that he wanted to learn arithmetic so that he could make a lot of money in the future.

Little Su Yue was the most surprising. She looked like a baby and seemed clueless and uninterested in books.

The only time she saw a martial arts class, her eyes lit up, and she waved her short arms and legs as she reached for the weapons.

When Zhou Li relayed these details to Su An, Su An was both amused and exasperated. He never expected that Sanwa's hobbies and aspirations would be so unique!

Especially the little sister, this cute little girl actually wants to learn martial arts?

"Mom, we're not short of money anyway, so we don't expect them to suffer endlessly. We just want them to learn a skill to support themselves."

Su An discussed it with Li Guihua, who naturally agreed and immediately made the decision to let the three children develop separately.

With Zhou Li's status, the children's enrollment procedures were completed quickly.

The next day was the first day of school.

Su An even went to the extravagance of buying a carriage and hiring Zhang San as a coachman, getting up early to prepare to take Sanwa away.

"Thank you so much, sister! Now we have a carriage to ride in!"

Su Ting and Su Yue were both feeling down because of their eldest sister's poison, but when they saw Su An's expectant eyes, they cheered and jumped onto the carriage with their short legs.

"Second brother, what are you standing there for..." Su An looked at Su Jiang standing there with a smile.

Unexpectedly, the next moment, Su Jiang snorted coldly, ignored her, and ran towards the school.

well--

Su An gave a bitter smile, but it vanished in an instant. He then told Zhang San to take the two children off first.

"The second son is still throwing a tantrum. I've never seen him so unreasonable before!" Li Guihua stomped her feet helplessly beside her, feeling both angry and anxious.

Despite being poisoned, Xiao An busied herself with taking care of them, while the second brother remained stubborn!

"It's alright, Mother. Whether my second son acknowledges me or not, I've already treated him like my own brother," Su An said with amusement, trying to comfort her.
