Chapter 28 Sudden Change at the Auction

"Without any fluctuations from natural ingredients, it is indeed a culinary disaster, but this is exactly what the Baron wants!"

Vera's eyes flickered, and she smiled coquettishly, "Father, the Baron will be very happy to have something like this."

The others began to flatter him:

"Of course, as long as the Baron is happy, the entire business on Phuket Island will belong to us next year, and that damned Aoki will have to go home and cry!"

"That Aoki guy is still too green!"

Maggie strode into the room, carrying a tray covered with a piece of red silk.

"I heard that Miss Vera from the Wolf Head Mercenary Group stole that Dark Cuisine Package. The entire venue is now sealed off, but don't worry, it will be resolved soon."

Maggie lifted the red silk, revealing the contents of the tray.

One was an ugly, eye-watering egg, the other a sparkling red gemstone, and just an hour ago, it was in the auctioneer's hands.

"This was sent by Lord Aoki. I hope you like it."

"Maggie said gently."
