Chapter 6 [Magic Dimension] The World of Dragons and Magic

Compared to the other planes, this plane is full of magic and adventure. Whether it's the adventurers appearing in the forest or the information about dragons from the villagers, it all proves that this is a world of swords and magic.

It's just like the world in some RPG adventure games.

But Xu Milu knew very well that this world was not a game.

"I am Ren Qingluan, a magician who lives here, and the owner of the Mountain and Sea Restaurant. Ah, a restaurant is a place where you can eat."

Thinking this, she smiled and said to the three people:

"I'm sorry, my magical beast seems to have frightened you, but it didn't mean to. It just thought you were food, and I've already taught it a lesson. Since you're an adventurer team that came from the direction of Westco County to hunt slimes, you must know Westco County very well. I'm not familiar with this place. Could you tell me about your experiences? Don't worry, consider it as me hiring you, and I'll pay you."

"?"

"??"

"..."

The three people looked at each other, clearly not understanding Xu Milu's intentions.

William glanced at Ella, whose body was covered in the giant tortoise's saliva, then at the slowly darkening sky, and said as if he had made a momentous decision:

“I accept your offer of employment, Miss Qingluan, magician. Thank you for your kindness. The Great Forest of Gribari at night is clearly not a gentle and harmless picnic spot. I will provide you with the information you need. In return, I hope you can offer us shelter.”

"certainly."

Xu Milu nodded, shooing away the swarm of slimes that kept trying to approach. The slime didn't harm her, but it might not be so bad for these three.

As the sun slowly disappeared on the horizon, the forest was plunged into an endless gray darkness. She waved her hand, and a blooming tulip appeared in her palm. Countless glowing fireflies came from all directions, gathering in the flower and transforming it into a unique lantern.

"Wow, that's amazing! Is it light magic?"

Ella couldn't help but gasp softly, while William and Osik couldn't help but stare at the "lantern" in Xu Milu's hand.

"No, it's just a special plant called 'Music Tulip,' whose pollen is a deadly attraction for fireflies. Come on, please follow me closely; Slime Ranch is still quite a distance from the restaurant."

Xu Milu flicked the tulip in her hand and noticed out of the corner of her eye that the three of them looked hesitant. She instantly understood.

If this were a Chinese story, a dense forest at night, an ancient temple with green lights, plus a beautiful woman of unknown origin, would have all three elements of a horror movie.

Looks like I'll have to locate my next restaurant in a town!

She sighed helplessly.
