Xiao Huhai nodded, "Yes, this piece is the brother's jade."
He took out another piece, which looked the same as the two of them, only slightly larger than the little guy's.
He looked at Consort Shu and said, "In my heart, I have long regarded Your Highness as my mother."
In this vast, deep palace, there were people who looked down on him and bullied him.
Only Consort Shu was kind-hearted and genuinely good to him, which he could truly feel despite his young age.
Consort Shu reached out and touched his head, feeling even more reluctant to part with him, "And I feel the same way."
Xiao Huhai's eyes reddened, and for a moment, he felt like crying.
He suppressed his emotions and said, "I should go."
He stood up, bowed deeply to Consort Shu, and said in a low voice, "Mother, I'm going."
Consort Shu hummed in agreement, tears welling in her eyes. "Farewell, my child."
