Just as Jeffrey retreated, the other two Shadow Abyss Splinters seized the opportunity to pounce on the Silver Lance Knights.
The knights roared in unison, brandishing their weapons to meet the attack. For a moment, the sounds of clashing metal, the monsters' howls, and the knights' battle cries mingled together.
"Looks like we won't be able to settle this today without bringing something out."
Linde knew that this stalemate could not continue. If the Silver Lance Knights were to be defeated, few of those present would likely survive.
"Aster, you and Raymond lead the soldiers to meet up with Lillens. Leave this to me!"
Linde said with a serious expression.
Astaire looked at his lord, feeling somewhat worried, but knowing his lord's strength and decisiveness, he replied without hesitation:
"Yes, sir!"
"Go quickly!"
Lind waved his hand, signaling Astaire to act immediately.
Aster turned and leaped onto his horse, shouting:
"Soldiers! Follow me!"
His voice echoed across the empty battlefield, carrying a sense of determination and resolve.
Upon hearing Aster's call, the soldiers responded enthusiastically, following closely behind him like a torrent of steel.
Watching the soldiers gradually disappear into the distance, Linde took a deep breath and began to analyze the current situation, turning his gaze to the Shadow Abyss Split in front of him.
In the distance, Jeffrey was busy dealing with the largest one and couldn't spare any time, while the remaining soldiers were relying on their superior equipment and silver-level physiques to hold their own.
However, the difference in rank was simply too great. The once invincible soldiers were pulverized along with their armor by the powerful force of the split entity. Even so, it was merely a matter of buying time.
This time, Linde plans to use the active effect of Bright Aura, the one that buffs the entire team.
Linde took a deep breath, then suddenly pulled on the breastplate. With a "snap," the breastplate was easily torn open. He quickly reached inside the breastplate, accurately found the hidden handle, and pulled it open without hesitation.
In an instant, the replica core emitted a slight buzzing sound, and then, like a giant beast being awakened, the magic armor quickly covered Lind's entire body.
Each piece of armor shimmered with a faint light, as if it were merging with Lind's body.
Linde felt the immense power emanating from the armor; his muscles tensed, and the magic within him surged like a raging torrent.
He clenched his fist tightly, unleashing his golden-level flames, and like a burning meteor, sped straight toward Jeffrey.
"Jeffrey, I'm here to help you!"
Linde's voice boomed through the air like thunder, carrying an unparalleled momentum.
At the same time, his other hand swiftly reached for his waist, pulling out a holy emblem radiating divine light. Without hesitation, he slapped the emblem against himself, shouting:
"Holy God, protect us!"
Although Lind was shouting these words, his actions did not slow down at all.
The moment the emblem touched his body, he immediately activated a bright halo.
A holy white light completely enveloped his body.
This layer of white light not only made Linde look like a god descending from heaven, but more importantly, the powerful energy it emitted was clearly felt by the Silver Lance Knights soldiers around him.
The soldiers felt a gentle yet incredibly powerful force surging through their bodies like a spring breeze. This force was neither domineering nor fierce, yet it gave them an irresistible feeling.
As this power was infused, the soldiers' equipment and weapons began to emit golden flames—the power of light veins passed down from the Holy Spirit. Although these flames were not dazzling, they gave people a feeling of invincibility.
"It's...it's the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit is protecting us!"
Lind's actions stunned the soldiers, and even Jeffrey, who had been prepared to die, had his hopes rekindled.
After all, Lind's dazzling golden light and the power that seemed to spring from nowhere within his body were undeniable.
As the light spread, the light carrying the power of the light veins shone on the Shadow Abyss Splits, directly dissolving the shadows on their bodies and revealing their cracked skin.
Under the scorching light, the Shadow Abyss Splits let out painful roars, as if the whole world could hear their wails.
Their bodies writhed violently, trying to break free from the holy light, but all in vain.
Linde stood in the light, like a war god descending to earth.
The light emanating from him grew ever more dazzling, like a burning sun, radiating boundless energy and majesty.
His gaze was fixed on one of the Shadow Abyss Splits, a resolute glint in his eyes.
He charged toward the split entity like an arrow released from a bow, the sharp blade in his hand gleaming with a chilling light.
His movements were swift and powerful, carrying the force of a thunderbolt, as he slashed fiercely at the split entity.
"Prepare to die!"
With a crisp "crack," the split body was struck by Linde's attack, instantly splitting open a deep wound from which black blood gushed out, splashing onto the ground with a "sizzling" sound.
"Brothers, charge!!!"
Linde's bravery inspired the entire battlefield.
The Silver Lance Knights had already suffered heavy losses in the battle against the Shadow Abyss Splinters, but seeing that Lind's attacks could inflict such great damage on these monsters, their morale was greatly boosted.
One by one, the silver-lanced knights charged forward like powder kegs that had been lit.
Just as the Silver Lance Knights charged forward, the largest Shadow Abyss Split suddenly let out a sharp roar. The shadows on its body surged wildly, actually condensing into a black shield that blocked Lind's attack.
Meanwhile, the other two split entities stopped passively taking hits and began to fight back in coordination.
The situation on the battlefield suddenly became tense again.
Linde laughed. This thing dared to show off its limited skills before an expert. Didn't it know that he was the chosen one of magic?
Just now, Lind clearly sensed the fluctuation of magic, but he was focused on the battle and didn't have time to use a spell to counter it.
But now...
Seeing the still-exposed magical shield, Lind immediately launched a counterspell combined with a mental shock.
No one knew what had happened; the monster's shield suddenly shattered, and they stood there dumbfounded.
Jeffrey, who was standing to the side, was still on guard against the monster's next tricks when he saw Lind slowly walk forward with his weapon in hand.
"Hehe, all done."
To Lind's surprise, this mental spell was incredibly useful; so far, nothing could withstand it.
Just as Linde was gloating and preparing to finish off the enemy, a sudden change occurred.
The Shadow Abyss Split unleashed an incredibly fast attack, sending Lind flying.
