Because both of them fell asleep at noon, Xia Lian was five minutes late when she returned to the classroom. Fortunately, it was the first day of class and the teacher wasn't too angry. After asking a couple of questions, the teacher let Xia Lian go back to her seat.
However, Yin Tao, being a chatterbox, kept asking all sorts of questions, so Xia Lian didn't intend to hide anything and just told her the truth, only omitting the details.
Hearing this, Wen Mo felt a little relieved, at least they didn't know the details.
"It's okay, just don't use words like 'secret rendezvous' next time."
"oh."
It's a pity that its image was shattered before it could be established (sad).
As dusk falls, the sky is dyed golden yellow, the sun slowly sinks below the horizon, and a gentle breeze brings a touch of coolness to the usually sweltering summer.
"How was your first day of class? Did you feel uncomfortable anywhere?" Wen Mo asked gently, looking at the road ahead.

Xia Lian shook her head.

"You should pay attention in class."
Wenmo gently stroked her head, though he inexplicably wanted to complain that her words sounded like she had died.
What do you want to eat tonight?
"rice."
"I wasn't asking what you're eating, by the way, haven't we already said that before..."
The two strolled home in the sunset, their silhouettes slowly merging into the afterglow, creating a soft and beautiful scene.
Xia Lian tugged at the hem of her clothes as usual, recalling how Yin Tao and Ye Qingzhou had run out of the classroom hand in hand during lunchtime.
She glanced again at the hem of her clothes that she was clutching in her hand, and at Wen Mo's hand that was waving back and forth beside her.
"Wenmo".
"Um?"
Wenmo was thinking about what to eat for dinner and casually replied.
"Can we hold hands?"
