Chapter 1061: Both Movement and Stillness Are Appropriate

The guide said there was a bigger market ahead. We walked for ten minutes and arrived at a market full of safari cars. There were many shops and many tourists. The prices were very high, four times the price of the previous shop. It was obvious that this was a place to take kickbacks and rip off tourists. The painting skills were not as good as the previous one. In the previous shop, you could see the painters painting.

After discussing with Yunluo, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo agreed that they should not tolerate evil. So Xiaol used the same method to deal with employees, giving a slap and a candy, and successfully educated the guide. Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo returned to the art shop. He did not participate in the price, and finally gave him and the chef a $5 tip.

She began to hate him in her heart. Jamal also took Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo to places where there were kickbacks, but he would definitely not be as blatant as him. He underestimated Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo, the Chinese tourists who had already experienced these tourist traps.

At six o'clock, Nalanshiqi and Yunluo were still at the viewing platform looking at Manyara. Yunluo vaguely remembered that there was a time limit for entering Ngoro. It was six o'clock. How long would it take to get there? Would it be late? Because Jamal left such a good impression on Nalanshiqi and Yunluo, Nalanshiqi and Yunluo foolishly thought that although this guide only cared about money, he would not make mistakes in reaching the scenic spots.

Later, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo discovered that the tour guide did not have a watch of his own, and the only watch on the bus was broken, causing the train to be three hours late!

When Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo set out again, the car wouldn't start. I've read a lot of travel notes and know that car breakdowns happen from time to time, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon. The water tank was leaking, and when I opened the water tank, hot water + steam gushed out.

Have you ever seen eggs, tea leaves, and butter in a water tank? This scene happened right before my eyes, making people laugh and cry. A group of Europeans passed by and exclaimed "crazy" when they saw this scene. The chef was the one who did and directed all this, and the guide only helped to pass the tools. (The man on the right side of the photo looks like someone in the movie).

While waiting for the car to be repaired, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo found that the two rear tires were cracked, one of which was seriously cracked. The rest of the journey would be on mountain roads, up and down volcanic craters, and if the tire burst, the consequences would be disastrous. The reason why he measured the tire pressure was that he was worried that there would be problems with this tire.

Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo asked to take a passing car to the town ahead and then meet up, but their request was not responded to. At this time, the sun had already set and it was dark. It was more terrible to set up a tent here than on the grassland. There was no village in front and no store behind. If someone came to rob us, we would have nowhere to cry. Then Yunluo suggested that we should not wait for the car and just take this one.

After getting in the car, something even more terrifying happened. The guide honked the horn, but there was no response. He turned on the headlights, but all other lights were off except the small headlight. The guide himself was also confused. This was only in Tanzania, in the suburbs near the crater. If it was in Nairobi, it would have collided head-on.

Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo kept asking how long it would take to get there, and the guide kept answering, "It's just ahead, two minutes soon." And every two minutes would take ten minutes to drive.

Finally, he couldn't stand it anymore. Xiao D was angry and said that he was a liar who kept deceiving Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo, driving a car without lights on the dark road, playing with Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo's lives. This time he pointed to the place with lights ahead. He said that in ten minutes, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo would camp there.

With the dim light, the car passed through a small forest and muddy ground and came to a restaurant-like place.

The guide told Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo. This is the destination. We will camp here tonight. Although I have never been to Ngoro, it is obvious that this town with residents and hotels is definitely not Ngoro. As expected, we can't drive there today because of the car, so we will stay here first.

Before they got off the bus, mosquitoes began to bombard them. Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo used all the cooling oils along the way, but they were still not spared. The guide pointed to a small forest and told Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo to stay there.

Yun Luo was mad at that time. The forest was empty and the ground was covered with wet grass. If he lived here, he would be eaten by mosquitoes at night! This is where people live! At this time, lightning flashed across the sky!

The car broke down, so En Ge Luo didn't get in. Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo paid for two days of tickets to En Ge Luo, but they were forced to camp in this godforsaken place. Yunluo wanted to stay at the lodge, so he couldn't camp here!

After communicating with Livin, the guide changed cars and took Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo to a lodge.

After arranging the accommodation, I discussed the itinerary for tomorrow with the guide. One problem occurred and the rest of the itinerary was completely messed up.

The original plan was for Nalanshiqi and Yunluo to enter the volcano today, set up tents in the camp, and enter the bottom of the volcano early the next morning for a full day of safari. Ngolu is an animal-intensive area, so an early safari would allow us to see animals hunting. We stayed at the wildlife lodge at night, and in the morning we could enjoy the beautiful scenery of the crater at the lodge.

At this time, it was out of reach to go on a safari early in the morning. Many people only arranged one day for Ngoro, but Yunluo took the advice of his predecessors and specially arranged two days, but this happened.

When communicating about the itinerary, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo discovered that the guide's English was not only poor, but he also had no knowledge of the attractions at all. For any questions about the attractions raised by Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo, he would first ask the chef and then answer Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo.

When Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo asked such a simple question, how long it would take to get from the Engeluo ticket office to the bottom of the crater, the chef was answering a call from Livin. The guide looked at the chef and saw that he had no idea what was going on.

At this time, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo were completely disappointed with the guide's performance. A replacement was necessary!

Many thanks to Pimai for helping coordinate during this period. Pimai has been paying attention to Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo's situation since 11pm when their car broke down, until 1 or 2am in the morning.

After returning to Beijing, we found out that when Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo had not returned to the town, Livin called to inquire about their situation, and the guide actually lied to him and said that Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo were already in Simbacamp.

It was Pi Mai who had always believed in Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo's situation and had been helping them communicate with Livin, asking him to upgrade Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo to lodge no matter what. In fact, this kind of situation is not uncommon during travel. If Pi Mai hadn't been coordinating, it would have been unknown whether the subsequent trip would have gone smoothly.

When Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo were having dinner at the lodge at 10pm, there was thunder and lightning, and heavy rain fell from the sky. The rain lasted all night. At that time, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo thought that maybe the car breakdown was a good thing. No matter where they camped, with such heavy rain, would the tent get wet?

After entering Ngoro, Nalanshiqi and Yunluo's thoughts were further confirmed. The nights in Ngoro were extremely cold. Of the three people, Nalanshiqi and Yunluo, only Yunluo brought a down sleeping bag. The fleece sleeping bags of Xiaod and the other two were not enough to keep them warm overnight.

If they had encountered that kind of rain and that kind of situation, given the guide's behavior at the time, he would definitely not have helped Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo get sleeping bags. The four of them would have definitely fallen seriously ill, and the rest of the trip would have been ruined.

That day, the elder one had a headache; the younger one started to be sick the next day. Only the two ladies were full of energy.

Ngorongoro is located in northern Tanzania, bordering the Serengeti to the west and Lake Manyara to the east. It has been quiet for at least 250,000 years, and it has probably existed for 2.5 million years. When the volcano was still active, multiple eruptions blew away the top of the volcano, leaving behind a perfect bowl-shaped crater. This is the most complete crater in the world.

There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!

The crater is more than 600 meters deep, about 18 kilometers in diameter, about 16 kilometers in diameter at the bottom, and covers an area of more than 264 square kilometers. It is also the second largest crater in the world.

Ngorongoro National Park is located in the crater area. It is one of the most important wildlife reserves in Africa. There are 25,000 to 30,000 animals living at the bottom of the crater. There are a large number of black rhinos here.

Most of the animals living in Ngorongoro do not need to migrate every year in search of water and fresh pastures. Instead, they settle in the crater all year round. Even in the dry season, there is no shortage of water in the crater, as there are many springs and a large blue saltwater lake.

They never dry up completely, even during the hottest seasons, so the crater area is teeming with wildlife, especially during the dry season, when the total population is nearly 2 million.

Yunluo arranged the trip to Ngorongoro solely for the animals, and completely ignored the beauty of the crater. Yunluo could not imagine that a crater could be so beautiful, even though every travelogue mentioned its beauty.

When Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo got on the new car and set foot on the land of N'Ge Luo under the guidance of the new guide, they were still deeply moved by it. And the scenery of the volcano surrounded by clouds and mist on the second day was also so beautiful that it made people feel like being in a fairyland.

From the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, along the mountain road to the bottom of the crater, there are dense tropical rainforests on both sides. It is very beautiful and mysterious.

When they reached the bottom of the crater, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo were dumbfounded by the animals they saw. There were so many zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles scattered across the prairie that they couldn't even see them all. One side was fighting, and the other side was running with their tails erected like antennas.

What surprised Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo the most was that the Maasai children who were herding sheep were walking among these wild animals. The Maasai children with painted faces were a sign of having undergone the coming-of-age ceremony, also known as circumcision.

After seeing the groups of zebras and wildebeests, they soon saw a male lion with a long mane in the distance. Unfortunately, it was lying down and sleeping, which disappointed Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo.

But before long, Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo discovered three lion brothers on the roadside, using the car as cover to move forward little by little, preparing to hunt, and their target was the zebra! (To be continued...)
