It was already daybreak when he woke up. Besides the sun rising slowly on the horizon, the most attractive thing to Yunluo was the local architecture. The most notable feature of the local architecture, like the people, was that it was "thin". At around 7am, Yunluo and Xiangchu Junzi took a short break at the rest stop. As soon as they got off the bus, they felt the fresh air without any industrial smell.
In the morning, Yunluo and Xiangchu Junzi arrived in Hue. In fact, five minutes before getting off the bus, Yunluo was still planning the fastest way to hike to as many attractions in Hue as possible within four hours. As soon as he got off the bus, he was tricked by an old man with excellent English into getting on his motorcycle and asking him to take Yunluo around the city.
Alas, Yunluo was not determined, and the price of 200,000 was reduced to 160,000. He promised to take Yunluo to 1 pm and send Yunluo back to the station. The first stop was Citan Temple, which was free. This was a new temple with a tower and a 10-year-old tree transplanted from India. It was said that the owner of the temple meditated under this tree and thought about the meaning of life.
The second stop seemed to be a place for sacrifice. There was no entrance fee and almost no tourists. It looked and functioned similar to the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. However, it was quite pleasant to enjoy the quiet little Temple of Heaven without tourists. At least there was no need to worry about someone barging in when taking photos.
Yunluo met a girl sweeping the street. She was the only one on the entire southward street. The tall, thin and straight poplar trees beside her made her look smaller and smaller, while the dust around her was getting higher and higher. Suddenly, she realized that the feeling she had been pursuing was in these ordinary things. Another temple half an hour later really amazed Yunluo.
The master led Yun Luo from the mainland to a small road, stopped at the door, and the master did not follow him in. This temple actually looks no different from ordinary temples, even more ordinary than the most ordinary temples, but the monks living inside are amazing.
When Yunluo was at the door, he saw monks walking together in groups of three or four to meditate. Their steps were steady and their eyes were calm. After entering, Yunluo unexpectedly found that there were nuns inside. It turned out that both boys and girls could become nuns in this temple. Although they lived far apart, they could still communicate with each other on a daily basis.
Because she was so thirsty and couldn't bear to buy water, Yunluo shamelessly asked the nuns in the temple for a bowl of water. The hall Yunluo entered seemed to be holding some kind of ceremony or meeting. The nuns carefully placed the cups of water in front of each cushion. Yunluo gestured and spoke English to them about her desire.
Later, a little nun who had studied English for a while asked for a glass of their "water" with great effort. After drinking it, Yunluo felt that all her shamelessness was worth it, because it was so delicious. This is a kind of lychee soup, which should be made by stuffing boiled lotus seeds into pitted lychees and then boiling them together in a large pot, and then cooling and icing.
It was delicious. It even felt full of Zen flavor. After discussing marriage issues with the little nun for half an hour, Yunluo continued to explore deeper into the temple. There was a cemetery behind the temple. A monk happened to be meditating here. Yunluo read the epitaphs of every monk and even memorized some of them: "A round moon never leaves the sky, and the three carriages are leisurely outside the gate."
Yunluo saw the monk take off his shoes and practice Tai Chi in the open space. Suddenly, Yunluo couldn't walk anymore, so he just sat there quietly, just wanting to watch him finish. This was the drink that Yunluo gave to Wuji as a reward. The fragrance was overflowing, and the sweet taste that was refreshing seemed to be full of Zen in the temple.
After visiting these two relatively far places, Yunluo and Xiangchu Chunzi walked towards the direction of the imperial palace and passed by Baoguo Temple, which was built 400 years ago. When the master knew that Yunluo was a Chinese, he hurriedly called Yunluo in and asked Yunluo to teach him the correct pronunciation of the couplet in front of the door.
There is nothing special about this place except that it is free. On the way to the palace, Yunluo passed by a middle school. Although the security guard did not let Yunluo in, nothing could stop Yunluo from exploring beauty. Every time he pressed the shutter, Yunluo silently said in his heart: Damn, this is not a school.
Every corner was extremely beautiful. The worst thing was that Yunluo deliberately went out through the main gate. Facing Yunluo's obscene smile, Yunluo felt that the security guard's ability to hold back laughter was superb. Even if his facial muscles cramped, he didn't want Yunluo to see that he was also smiling. Opposite the school was a small square, where one could see the one-star red flag flying in front of the palace on the other side of the river.
There was a small shop selling coffee and lemonade on the lawn in front of the square. Sitting under the parasol, Yunluo was stunned for half an hour by the 15,000 yuan lemonade. The master gave Yunluo 40 minutes to walk around. Yunluo did not enter the inner city because the entrance fee was 60,000 yuan.
On the other hand, Yunluo could not imagine what was worth lingering in the imperial city that was built according to the blueprint of the Forbidden City but was countless times smaller than her. Hue was square, with each side about two and a half kilometers long, surrounded by a moat. The city wall was 8 meters high and 20 meters thick, all made of bricks.
There are 10 city gates, each about 16 meters high. There are six departments where officials work, including the Imperial Academy, the Secret Court, the Censorate, the History Museum, the Cabinet, and the Xixianyuan. The most important part of Hue is the Imperial City, which uses the architectural drawings of the Forbidden City in Beijing, so you will find yourself in a smaller version of the Forbidden City.
Inside is the Forbidden City, which is divided into two parts. In the front is the Qinzheng Hall where the emperor usually handles government affairs, and in the back are the Qiancheng Hall where the emperor lives, the Kuntai Palace where the empress lives, the Guangming Hall where the crown prince lives, and the Shunhui Courtyard where other concubines live. There are also flag towers, the Hall of Supreme Harmony, and the Gongguang Hall and temples for worshiping emperors of all dynasties in the imperial city.
The whole building is quite spectacular, and it is the largest and most complete ancient building complex in Vietnam. Yunluo walked around the outer wall of the inner city for exactly 40 minutes. Many parts of the wall had collapsed, and some places could even be climbed in. The lotus in the moat had been roasted to death.
The majesty of the entire imperial city had long since disappeared into the sky along with the king she had assisted. When the master took Yun Luo to the New Coffee bus stop, Yun Luo had time to try the local beef noodles, which were at the shop just to the left of the New Coffee. The beef noodles in Vietnam were chewier than those in Lanzhou, but the soup tasted much worse.
But for Yunluo, it was still a pretty good bowl of noodles. The bus will leave on time at 1 o'clock. Don't forget to confirm before departure. P.S. There are three imperial tombs here. If you stay here for a day, you have enough time to visit these three imperial tombs. If you only have four hours like Yunluo, Yunluo recommends giving up all of them.
Hoi An is the earliest Chinatown in Vietnam. As early as the 17th century, many Chinese businessmen settled here and have lived and multiplied here for hundreds of years. A prosperous Chinese community has been formed, with many Chinese guild halls. The buildings are magnificent and splendid, maintaining the traditional Chinese architectural style.
The layout of the streets and the style of the buildings not only show the simplicity and elegance of Chinese architecture, but also integrate the natural aesthetics and life interests of the locals. Visitors here can appreciate the ancient cultural traditions and feel the strong regional atmosphere.
At 6pm, the bus arrived at the station. There were still many drivers soliciting passengers, and they would still tell you that your place of residence is far away. Yunluo and Xiangchu Chunzi walked to the office of Xin Coffee through the navigation. Yunluo and Xiangchu Chunzi originally thought that the bus would stop at the entrance of Xin Coffee, but who knew that the bus would only stop at the bus station.
It takes another 15 minutes to walk to New Coffee. At New Coffee, Yunluo and Xiangchu Junzi booked tickets to Dalat the next day, and then looked for a place to stay. The prices here are relatively expensive, generally 14 US dollars per room, only increase but not decrease. Youth hostels have 6 dollars per bed. But you have to book at least one week in advance.
Yunluo and Xiangchu Chunzi searched for a long time for an inn that cost $20, and finally found one. It cost $14 per room, and the quality was average, so I won't recommend it to you. But generally, places with good quality and low prices here really need to be booked. After an hour of tidying up, it was already dark, and Yunluo and Xiangchu Chunzi prepared to walk towards the river while sweeping the stalls.
Heading north, I really got something: 10,000 yuan for three fried dumplings, each containing coconut, banana, and mango. I walked further and arrived at the night market. There are many guild halls here. It costs money to enter the guild halls, and they are closed at night. Yunluo has never been in one. The shops here are very attractive, with many handicrafts, many oil paintings, and dim lights.
Yunluo liked this feeling very much. The narrow streets, the crowds slowly moving forward, the various languages and skin colors blending together, coupled with the taste of local food, it felt great. Yunluo and Xiangchu Junzi walked to the river and walked to the Nihonbashi Bridge. The countless river lanterns on the bridge surprised Yunluo. It seemed that today was some kind of festival for them.
No wonder the streets are crowded with people and residents are singing and dancing in their homes. Every river lantern is a piece of care. Ten thousand river lanterns float past Yunluo, and the longing merges into a river.
Yunluo and Xiangchu Junzi walked to the riverside stall and ordered a bowl of noodles for 12,000 yuan. The noodles were made of rice and paired with the vegetables and meat he gave them. They were delicious. While eating the noodles, I heard Chinese music, which was very touching. Later, I left the riverside and returned to the old street. Although it was only nine o'clock, the number of people had begun to decrease slowly.
On the way, I happened to meet my Guangdong and Guangxi friends whom I met two days ago. We decided to have a drink, and Yunluo tasted fruit shake for the first time. It is a drink made by mixing several kinds of fruit condensed milk ice. It is pure natural, super nutritious, and tastes delicious. Later, Yunluo sent the girl who was with Yunluo back to the hotel.
Yunluo came out and ordered another cup - a fruit shake that cost 15,000 yuan and came with free water. After sending the girl to bed, Yunluo went out to walk around. Hoi An was already asleep at 10 o'clock. There was no one on the street except the vendors selling baguettes, motorcycle drivers and solitary foreign travelers.
They walked towards the old street based on their memories, but it was dark everywhere. However, this darkness made Yunluo feel another Hoi An. The old tree they were hugging was sandwiched between an empty path. Except for the orange street lamps, everything else seemed to be in endless darkness.
Yunluo walked alone by the river. It was so quiet that he could hear the rusty tricycles struggling to move forward on the other side of the river. The occasional luxurious coffee shops by the river made people love and hate them. Love that they were so appropriate. The cold night needed the warm lights like twinkling stars to set off. Hate that he didn't bring a girl out to enjoy this rare romance with Yunluo.
What a pity. When he returned home at night, it was already twelve o'clock. The girl in the room was already asleep, so Yun Luo didn't feel like disturbing her, even though it was a good time to chat.
Hoi An seemed to go to bed very early. At ten o'clock in the evening, there was no one on the road.
Today, I visited two cities. Hue and Hoi An. In order to see the legendary LP cover, Yunluo woke up once at 1:30 and waited for half an hour, and woke up once at 2:30 and waited for 45 minutes. In the end, I found that the cover was not there. The world collapsed and my worldview was rebuilt. When I arrived in Hue at 9:05, Yunluo was still thinking about how to walk five minutes before getting off the bus.
There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!
As a result, as soon as I got off the car, I was moved by the old man's sincerity. One hundred and sixty thousand yuan for a tour of the city. The old man showed Yunluo his good review. Yunluo felt that it was a bit exaggerated, but the old man was still very simple. Yunluo asked him to wait in the hot weather, and Yunluo drank herbal tea under the shade of the tree, feeling quite embarrassed.
The old man sometimes hesitated on the way. It is better to have a good strategy before going out, so as to avoid the embarrassing situation that you deliberately make trouble for the old man when the old man obviously does not want to take you. Yunluo originally wanted to ask the old man to take Yunluo to have breakfast, but found that the old man was quite commercial. Yunluo, who had no money to take the capitalist route, decided to tighten the belt.
On the way to the Imperial City, Yun Luo passed by a middle school. The security guard did not let Yun Luo enter through the main gate, so Yun Luo went in from the side. When he finally came out, he deliberately went out through the main gate to see his expression. You know what? Yun Luo had never seen a man with eyes bigger than his since he was born.
Opposite the school is the Xiangjiang River. Opposite the Xiangjiang River is the Imperial City. Yunluo shamelessly asked the chef to wait for half an hour, and sat by the river drinking lemonade. But it felt so damn good to sit by the river, enjoy the scenery, and drink herbal tea. Why is Vietnam so good? There is no pressure at work, and you can eat a lot. The scenery is also great. You can see people drinking coffee, juice, and tea everywhere.
Arriving at the Imperial City, Yunluo really felt that it was the government that was too bothersome. I don't want to cause trouble for you, Vietnam. With such a small defense, you still call it an imperial city? Even amateur rock climbing enthusiasts look down on your place. Yunluo ate beef noodles at the noodle shop next to the new coffee shop and tasted Vietnamese noodles. It felt good. To be frank, the noodles were chewier than ramen.
After eating delicious fried bean paste buns, fried coconut buns, banana buns and Vietnamese noodles, there were river lanterns all along the way. It was wonderful to have Xiang Chujunzi accompany me. After sending the teacup back, Yunluo wandered around the city alone at night. He originally wanted to go back to Nihonbashi, but he took the wrong road and took another road with very few people.
Fortunately, there were some gains. I encountered an old tree by the roadside and a Vietnamese woman preparing to go home under a street lamp. This city is the one that Yunluo has seen the earliest to go to bed and get up early. After ten o'clock, there were no people on the road. Except for a few foreign girls and a few happy Vietnamese people selling baguettes and juice, the road was really empty.
I was woken up by the air conditioner at around 2am, and I didn't remember to turn it off until around 3am. The dreams I had at night seemed like beautiful memories from a long time ago, and beautiful plots that I had forgotten. When I woke up, it was already bright. Apple's timekeeping system is really shit. If Yunluo used this timer during class, he would probably be dead.
After a quick breakfast, Yunluo headed straight to the beach. The beach was the domain of foreigners, but this kind of beauty was once dominated by Europeans and Americans. Yunluo bought a pair of swimming trunks and went directly into the water to drink seafood soup. The blue here was a color Yunluo had never seen before. This attractive scenery tightly bound Yunluo for five hours, and Yunluo set out to walk back at three o'clock in the afternoon.
While walking on the beach, I kept thinking about the housing prices here. The scenery is really attractive. Yunluo thinks that once I have money, I must come back. A sea view room is hard to come by. Yunluo sits under a coconut tree and surfs the Internet without restraint, looking at the scenery and bikinis. Occasionally go to the sea, occasionally sleep on the beach, and occasionally get caught in the rain.
We left the beach at three in the afternoon. We didn't have a map, so we just walked. On the way, we had the best baguette meal Yunluo had had in all those days. Later, we couldn't resist the ubiquitous roadside spa, which cost us 375 thousand guilders and took an hour. Maybe Yunluo had too high hopes, so an hour passed quickly. Although we were not wearing any clothes, nothing happened. Yunluo had such a dirty mind!
Haha! After that, I went to the old street for a walk. I wanted to arrange a chance meeting, but it didn't work. I ran into a few Chinese people. I drank a cheap lemon tea worth ten thousand yuan and chatted with them for a while. The oil on my body was not dry yet, it was shiny. I regretted it a little. The key point was that I didn't get what Yunluo wanted.
Alas, my thoughts are dirty. In the past two days, Yunluo found that his mind often wandered, and he would only think of bargaining with others after paying the money. Or he would be suddenly overwhelmed by something and spend a lot of money without any courage. His brain was out of control. Before leaving at night, he realized that there were still some attractions that he had not experienced. He took a quick look and left them for next time!
On the second day, Yunluo and Xiang Chuchunzi rented a bicycle for one dollar a day, and it was obvious that the aunt forgot to ask Yunluo and Xiang Chuchunzi for a deposit when she rented the bicycle to them. Today, they had only one purpose - to see the sea. Yunluo and Xiang Chuchunzi rode bicycles for more than an hour, and the beach did not disappoint them.
Yunluo had never seen such a beautiful sea before, with blonde hair and blue eyes everywhere. Fortunately, Yunluo was already immune to European and American girls, otherwise she would have had at least two or three hours less to spend on the beach and the sea. Yunluo arrived at ten in the morning and stayed there until three in the afternoon, swimming, walking, watching the sea, using wifi, sleeping on the beach, and doing everything she could think of that didn't cost money.
Yunluo enjoyed everything. The drinks here are not as ridiculous as those in China. Yunluo ordered two cans of Coke, which cost only 20,000 yuan. When I went back in the afternoon, I was bleeding a lot and had a massage. Because Yunluo was afraid that she couldn't control herself, she went to a regular store. In one hour, she spent 375,000 yuan. It hurt! (To be continued...)
