Yunluo and An Chuyu were waiting foolishly on the roadside for a while. It was 3:30 in the morning on the streets of Melbourne. Fortunately, at 3:50, someone came to pick them up. Yunluo and An Chuyu were relieved. A minibus picked up everyone who participated in the hot air balloon activity along the way. It was already past 4 o'clock when the last person was picked up.
Fortunately, Yunluo and An Chuyu were picked up early, otherwise they might have given up waiting. It's all tears if I talk too much. I'm done complaining, let's talk about the activities~ While showing the picture, I said that this was Yunluo's first time to ride a hot air balloon, and everything looked new to him. This is the basket that Yunluo and An Chuyu need to ride.
Each grid can hold 4 people. Although it doesn't look small in the picture, the basket is actually quite large. 4 people can stand inside without feeling crowded. Riding a hot air balloon is not just a recreational activity. As soon as An Chuyu got off the car, he was pulled away to do hard labor. An Chuyu looked very happy, haha.
He probably thought that his own actions were the only way to fit in with others. It was a little after 4 o'clock at this time, and it was pitch black all around. He flattened the hot air balloon, and then it was time to pump air into it. It was a very large fan, and the purpose was to blow up the hot air balloon. However, the hot air balloon was still deflated after just blowing it up, so how could it be filled with air?
It depends on the flames. Yunluo has been taking these steps, which is quite dangerous. Those are all flames. It must be very hot. How does the hot air balloon stand up? It is the power of the reversing car behind that pulls the hot air balloon up. The group next to them is faster, and the people are already standing in the basket~ Yunluo and An Chuyu are still waiting outside the hot air balloon of Yunluo and An Chuyu's group.
I was so anxious not to miss the sunrise in the morning. I finally climbed into the basket. It was not bad, the place was quite spacious~ But the temperature was a little low, so I took out my down jacket~ It was cold, the hot air balloon took off. Of course, Yunluo couldn't take a picture of himself taking off, so he could only take a picture of the hot air balloon next to him, hahaha.
I guess they were also filming Yunluo and An Chuyu~ The hot air balloon was getting farther and farther away from Yunluo and An Chuyu, like an inverted Hershey kiss, haha, the sun was about to come out. The time was 5:30~ There were three hot air balloons taking off together, some were farther away from Yunluo and An Chuyu, and some were closer, here.
This hot air balloon is not far from Yunluo and An Chuyu, and is slightly lower than their altitude. I secretly took a picture of the hot air balloon's good equipment. There is an iPad mounted on it, and it seems to have a dedicated app that displays real-time information such as altitude, wind speed, and position. In addition, there are 8 large fuel tanks. It's strange to say, but now when I look at this picture, I always feel that it will explode.
I don't trust anything in China. Eating hot pot can cause a bomb to kill people. But at that time, Yunluo was right next to the fuel tank, so why didn't he feel scared? A small villa in the Yarra Valley. In fact, if you get closer, you can see the tables and chairs on the second-floor terrace for tea breaks. Living in the middle of this endless grassland, you have your own small villa.
It is such a wonderful thing to sit on the terrace with a few friends on weekend afternoons, talk about gossip and boyfriends. However, this is all imagination. The fact is that even if Yunluo is given a chance, she will not have afternoon tea on this terrace. The reason is that there are many cows and sheep here, and there are mostly cow and sheep dung on the ground, which directly results in a lot of flies.
There were so many flies that no less than 20 of them fell on An Chuyu's back. I won't upload the disgusting pictures~ An Chuyu was working to open the hot air balloon. The next task was to fold up the hot air balloon. An Chuyu worked actively again. Look how happy An Chuyu was after the work. He even took off his down jacket because he was so hot.
I was born to work hard. I booked this tour on Aole.com not only because of the hot air balloon activity, but also because of the car pick-up and drop-off. Of course, the more important thing is that it includes a breakfast at the winery. The picture above is the grand breakfast of An Chuyu, and the picture below is the salmon meal that Yunluo ordered. There was also milk/coffee/juice and fruit before.
In short, big eaters like Yunluo and An Chuyu were very satisfied. After breakfast, they were given a certificate for riding a hot air balloon. The issuer was the "owner" of Yunluo and An Chuyu's hot air balloon. It was almost noon when they were sent back to Melbourne. They must make good use of the afternoon to spend Yunluo's boxing day.
The so-called Boxing Day is the day when Australians go shopping. Every street and alley as long as there is a shopping mall is full of people. It is a bit like our Double 11. However, it is said that many things are indeed the cheapest on this day of the year. Everywhere on the street, men, women, young and old are carrying shopping bags from various shopping malls, and the shopping process is automatically ignored.
It was mainly too crowded. Basically, you just line up and swipe your card when you see something. No clerk would take the initiative to deal with you. It was too busy. Yunluo queued for more than 10 minutes to get on the escalator. Everyone was really enthusiastic. Tired of grabbing the goods, I sat down to eat something. In the picture above, Yunluo and An Chuyu were eating hamburgers and fries along the way.
But don't underestimate the burger in the picture. It is said to be the best burger in Melbourne. It's called Grilld, and it's a chain with several stores. You can find it if you search on Google Maps. They are famous for their lamb burgers. I have to say, Australian meat is just good, tender and juicy.
In comparison, fish and chips are just so-so. After having a good meal and a good drink, I finally got time to take the free CBD bus, CityCircle, also known as Route 35. The one in the picture is SpringStreet, which is considered a CityCircle stop. Almost every CityCircle bus will stop here to rest.
It became the best choice for taking photos of this old tram. Let’s end today with a photo of the church. I will fly to Sydney early tomorrow morning. I love Melbourne.
As mentioned earlier, when Yunluo and An Chuyu bought their plane tickets, it was only two months before departure. The tickets were expensive and there was little choice (Yunluo would make a list of expenses in the end), so they were forced to choose two 6 a.m. flights via domestic Australian airlines. Here I would like to praise the size of Melbourne's airport.
Skybus~The last picture says~ Yunluo and An Chuyu bought round trip tickets. Yunluo and An Chuyu left Melbourne at 4:00 in the morning, so why did they dare to buy return bus tickets? This is where Yunluo wants to praise Skybus. The Melbourne Airport bus operates all day and at night, even at such awkward times as 2 or 3 in the morning.
It is also guaranteed that there is a bus every 15 minutes between the city and the airport. The airport bus also has Chinese instructions, which is very convenient. Moreover, the most important point is that as long as you buy a skybus ticket, it actually includes hotel pick-up and drop-off. You can see clearly in the picture above that Yunluo and Anchu met on the day they arrived in Melbourne because the time was right.
They sent Yunluo and An Chuyu to the hotel. Unfortunately, the flight leaving Melbourne was at 6am, so I had to go to the Skybus station by myself. Although I didn't enjoy this service, Yunluo still wanted to give a thumbs up to the Melbourne Airport Bus~ [End of Melbourne] This is the advantage of early flights.
It doesn't seem to take up your time, because Yunluo and An Chuyu arrived in Sydney at 8:30 in the morning~~~A beautiful day has begun. Yunluo wrote about today's accommodation in the [Hotel Article] above. Since Yunluo really likes it, I will talk about it again here~If it's too long-winded, just skip it. Yunluo and An Chuyu originally didn't book this hotel in Kent.
The reason, of course, was that it was expensive, so I booked a hotel that was far away. It was also a hotel chain of Meriton, Meriton Service Apartments-Zetland, but after checking, it seemed too far from Darling Harbour, so I cut my losses and booked this Meriton Service Apartments-Kent located in Town Hall.
In fact, there are several Meritons around here. As long as you don't catch the popular tourist season during Christmas and New Year's Eve like Yunluo, the price is still affordable~~Here is a photo of the Meriton Hotel on Kent Street in Yunluo~ Meriton Serviced Apartments-Kent Street (meritonservicedapartments-kentstreet) arrived at the hotel at around 8 o'clock in the morning.
It was not yet the 3pm check-in time. So there was no ordinary room that Yunluo and An Chuyu had originally booked, but luck was on their side. There happened to be a room with a sky view available, so they decisively increased the price by AUD50/day, which was AUD275/day. They stayed on the 52nd floor with a sky view, which was pretty good.
Standing on the balcony, you can overlook the whole Darling Harbour. It is worth the money. Meriton Serviced Apartments-Kent Street has a PWC outside the balcony. After packing up, go downstairs. The good location is really important. There is a station downstairs and the scenery is downstairs.
This is the cathedral downstairs, St. Andrew's Church, Standrews Church. Although I live near it, I have no chance to go in and see it. It is said that Melbourne is more suitable for living. The price is cheap and the life is convenient, but Yunluo still thinks that the prosperous Sydney is Yunluo's favorite. This is one side of the Town Hall.
There aren't many people, right? Actually, this isn't the main entrance. I didn't dare take photos at the main entrance because they were all practicing xx. You know. Will Yunluo tell you that Yunluo went to the zoo on her first day in Sydney? Will Yunluo tell you that this zoo is actually the wildlife chain zoo where Yunluo took photos with a koala on Hamilton Island?
Haha, Yunluo really loves small animals. Actually, Yunluo was just itching to see other people’s guides with photos of kangaroos. It seemed like a chance to get up close to a boxer, so she dragged An Chuyu to the zoo. She could only see the kangaroos from a distance, but the other small animals were pretty good. The animal in the upper right corner of the picture above is called a wombat.
I don't know how to translate it, but Yunluo is so cute that his face is bleeding. He specially brought back a wombat doll~~Dangdangdang (one, one, one, one, three times) once again used this grand way to treat Yunluo to the most satisfying and luxurious meal of the whole trip~~~Nicks seafood platter in Darling Harbour~AUD130, basically everything is in the picture.
There is a whole blue crab under the prawn. It is enough to fill two people if they are not too hungry. In fact, in Australia, no matter eating, drinking, or having fun, everything is quite cheap as long as you don't multiply it by the exchange rate. University graduates also earn 40,000 to 50,000 dollars a year, and our salary is about the same, but they can sit in Darling Harbour in Sydney for AUD130.
Enjoying the scenery while eating seafood, why is there such a big difference. No more talking, let's talk about food. It was only 6 o'clock when Yunluo and An Chuyu sat down, and the sun was still far away from setting. They were eating outdoors. The seafood platter on the table had raw and cold seafood on one side and fried seafood on the other.
Therefore, the service industry specially adjusted the awning above Yunluo and An Chuyu's heads, so that fried foods are exposed to the sun and frozen foods are in the shade~ Wow, look at them. How thoughtful~~ After dinner, I walked around the restaurant and saw this chef who specialized in processing oysters. His technique was super skillful.
In his hands, those ugly things covered in mud and water were turned into delicacies that made Yunluo salivate so easily. Yunluo and An Chuyu asked for his permission to take pictures of him. Look, he has a great sense of camera~ What a lovely master~ It would be nice to just wander around Darling Harbour, Darling Harbour is really a good place.
There is no mistake in the poem, post, content, and read the book on 6, 9, and bar!
There are many places to eat, a shopping mall, and the Maritime Museum, which Yunluo showed above. Of course, it was closed when Yunluo and An Chuyu went there, but it didn't matter, because its exhibits were parked on the shore, so it was free to visit. The medieval pirate ship seems to be able to go out to sea now.
End today's trip with a photo of a seagull and go back to rest early. Good night Sydney Day Tour Sydney was just around Darling Harbour yesterday, and there was no problem taking public transportation. However, Sydney is so big, and there are ferries to take, so the first task is of course to buy a pass. There are many types of passes for Sydney transportation.
There are mybus, mytrain, mylight, myferry, and of course the mymulti ticket that Yunluo and An Chuyu bought. Each ticket has a number of days. Yunluo thinks that as a tourist, a mymulti is a good choice, and the number of days depends on everyone's itinerary.
Yunluo and An Chuyu planned to stay in Sydney for 7 days, so they bought a one-week pass. When you swipe the card for the first time, the expiration date will be printed on the back of the card. There is no place to swipe the card when riding mylight. Someone will randomly check the ticket. Just show him the expiration date on the back of the card. You have to use the ticket after you buy it.
Just take a bus from Townhall to Circular Quay, and then prepare to walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens. On the quay, I saw several pieces of street art. For example, the picture below shows that although they are both in Australia, Sydney and Melbourne are so different that even the street performances are so different.
In Melbourne, more performers perform art itself, such as violin, guitar, various percussion instruments, or magic balls full of fantasy. But the street performances in Sydney can make people smile, such as the performance imitating sculptures in the picture above, and the performance of people wearing clown costumes and walking on stilts later.
Different city styles create different street performances~ It is called a botanical garden, but in fact it is just a large lawn. It is fundamentally different from the greenhouse-style botanical gardens in our country that are full of rare and exotic plants. Of course, their botanical gardens are a good place for citizens to relax and entertain, rather than a place for tourists to visit and check in.
The road along the Royal Botanic Gardens closest to the sea is full of beautiful scenery. It is probably the best scenery in Sydney. There are also super funny seagulls sitting in a row. The most famous attraction in the Royal Botanic Gardens is Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, because it is the best place to see the Opera House and the Bridge.
Yunluo doesn't like chairs, so here's a photo of the opera house and the bridge from this angle, to see if it looks like a postcard. It feels like it's impossible to walk through the huge Royal Botanic Gardens, so I took photos while walking inside~ This is also in the Royal Botanic Gardens, and the purpose is certainly not to see Yunluo and An Chuyu's big faces.
And the purple tree behind me, I don't know if it is lilac, but it is really beautiful. In fact, I saw several purple trees along the way~ Passing through the Art Gallery of NSW, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, and walking further, you will arrive at the very famous St. Mary's Cathedral, which is behind this row of trees, although I am not a devout believer.
But there was a sign in the church prohibiting photography, so Yunluo would obey the order. As it was her first time in a country where Christianity was the main religion, Yunluo thought she had been shocked by St. Paul's Cathedral in Melbourne, but it was only when she came to St. Mary's that she realized what was exquisite and majestic.
You have to go in and see this feeling yourself. Every piece of colored glass tells a religious story. If Yunluo was a believer, he would come here to pray every day and appreciate every piece of glass carefully. Not far from the church is the famous Hyde Park, which is very important for Sydney people.
It should be considered another good place for citizens to relax and have fun, but for tourists, it is a good place to view St. Mary's Cathedral from a distance. Look, the background of the fountain is the cathedral~ It feels quite good, right~ A foreigner (in a cyan shirt) and a little Chinese boy (in a blue shirt) are playing chess.
The little Chinese boy is so amazing~~ a child with a strong aura~~ After walking for half a day, he is still hungry. He has to find something to eat quickly. It is almost three o'clock in the afternoon. What should he eat? When he arrives in Sydney, he must try Pancakes on the Rock. So Yunluo and An Chuyu took a bus back to Circular Quay. (To be continued...)
