With few classes and exams these past few days, Su Xun spent almost all her time in her dorm room, where she officially finished the novel she was writing.
This was her first time trying to write this kind of sweet romance novel, and she felt it was actually pretty good. She has already decided to continue in this style in her next book.
Counting the days, tomorrow is Christmas Eve. She and Pei Ke agreed to have dinner together first, and then go to the amusement park.
She specifically chose a skirt, wore thick tights underneath, and a short jacket over it, and didn't feel cold at all.
She glanced at the time; it was still early before their agreed meeting time. She then reached for the pile of cosmetics she hadn't used in a long time. She didn't have the habit of wearing makeup every day; she usually had to go to class early for morning reading, and she chose to go makeup-free rather than get up half an hour earlier.
However, today was special, so she put on light makeup and swept a little bit of blue shimmer at the outer corner of her eyes, which made her eyes look much more lively.
After tidying up, she went straight downstairs.
Under the warm yellow streetlights, a tall figure stood with his head down, fiddling with his phone. His face looked much softer in the light.
"I'm here." Su Xun walked a few steps to Pei Ke, turned around, and asked, "Do I look good?"
She wore a new dress on purpose.
The person in front of me had exquisite makeup, and her eyes seemed to be filled with boundless water and swirling eddies, drawing you in. Her lips were painted with a light red, making her even more beautiful and alluring than usual.
She must have been wearing new clothes; the short skirt accentuated her long, slender legs, making her look very beautiful.
"It looks great."
Su Xun naturally didn't miss the hint of amazement that flashed in Pei Ke's eyes, and he was even more satisfied.
"I also think this outfit looks pretty good. I guess I should wear it more often in the future."
Su Xun's smile deepened, and she directly took Pei Ke's arm and walked towards the school gate.
Pei Ke followed the person, but a hint of hesitation appeared on his face.
Su Xun looks very pretty, but won't she get cold if she wears skirts all the time?
He glanced down at his bare legs again, which confirmed his suspicions.
They had a meal in the city center and then walked directly to the amusement park.
This is a newly opened amusement park, decorated with a Christmas theme for the holiday. As soon as you enter, you can feel a strong Christmas atmosphere.
It was completely dark when the park was lit with uniform lights that weren't glaring, unlike the amusement parks she'd seen before, which seemed to have rainbows installed inside the lights.
However, I gradually sensed something unusual.
"Why do I have this feeling that everyone who comes here is a couple?"
Su Xun looked around and saw that everyone around him was in pairs, holding hands.
Feeling the hand holding her stiffen for a moment, Su Xun subconsciously looked up to the side and saw that Pei Ke was indeed acting strangely, staring straight ahead as if he knew nothing.
"This isn't actually an ordinary amusement park, is it?"
"I didn't expect you to know about this place."
Su Xun looked at the person next to him with a teasing expression, feeling the temperature in his hand getting higher and higher.
"Pei Ke, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. I'm really happy that you brought me here." She stopped, faced Pei Ke, sighed, and spoke her mind.
Because she had a feeling that if she continued to tease him, Pei Ke would cover his face and run away.
Although covering her face was out of the question, she could clearly see that the person's fair ears were completely red.
"I didn't know this place was like this before I came," Pei Ke explained softly. He did know, but he didn't want to admit it.
“Mhm.” Su Xun echoed, pointing to a small stall ahead, “They’re selling glowing hair accessories over there, let’s go take a look.”
Su Xun took a liking to a pair of white cat ears. They were fluffy and didn't glow. She paid for them directly and then put them on Pei Ke's head.
The white fluff nestled in the soft black hair looked very adorable.
Pei Ke touched the left cat ear with her hand. "Why don't you wear it?"
"I didn't see anything I liked, but I think this one would suit you perfectly."
"But..." It's so awkward for a boy like him to wear something so cute and soft.
"Alright, don't take it off. Look, everyone else is wearing it like this." Su Xun suddenly put on a stern face.
It's so cute, she couldn't bear to take it off; of course, she had to look at it a few more times.
Pei Ke had no choice but to give up. Looking at the couples around him, he saw that they were all wearing similar ones that glowed and flashed. Luckily, the one on his head didn't glow.
The park has many attractions, and although it's Christmas-themed, most of them are designed for couples. The two of them tried several of them.
They played for a full two hours before stopping.
Su Xun hadn't had this much fun in a long time. Tonight, he unleashed all the emotions he hadn't been able to release over the past few years, and only stopped when he was exhausted, before going back with Pei Ke.
The taxi had the heater on intermittently, and with a slight traffic jam, Su Xun couldn't take it anymore and fell asleep inside.
Seeing that Su Xun's head was restless, swaying from side to side, Pei Ke was afraid that she would hit her head on the car window, so he gently pulled her close and let her lean against his chest.
The streets were decorated with Christmas bells and Christmas trees, creating a festive atmosphere.
In the dim yellow light, a few fine froths drifted down, swirling in the wind.
"It's the first snow yet," the driver in front remarked, glancing out the window.
"First snow! Where is first snow?" The person in my arms suddenly woke up and started to wriggle, trying to sit up.
"Don't move." Pei Ke gently released the person, straightened Su Xun's clothes, and then brushed a strand of hair that was hanging down on the person's face back.
Su Xun moved to the car window, looking at the snowflakes falling outside, wishing he could get out of the car immediately.
Fortunately, the taxi arrived at the entrance of S University in just a few minutes.
The two got out of the car, and Su Xun excitedly rushed out and took a few steps forward.
People gradually came out of the campus, took out their phones to take pictures. The snow wasn't heavy, and it was just scattered here and there.
A huge Christmas tree was placed in the center of the campus square, with colorful lights twinkling around its trunk, and snow falling on the green tree, adding a thin layer of pure white.
Snowflakes danced in the air like flying catkins, casting a faint white glow over the otherwise dark night sky.
Su Xun stretched out his hand, palm up, and caught a piece of crystal clear, hexagonal material with fuzzy edges. It melted upon contact with his palm, turning into a small puddle of water that was icy cold.
Su Xun slowly turned around and looked at the figure that was quietly watching him from not far behind.
"I confessed to the person I liked on the day of the first snow, and we will be together forever."
She excitedly spoke something to the person behind her, her eyes sparkling with the light of falling snowflakes.
