Chapter 104

Su Xun suddenly ran forward, threw herself into Pei Ke's arms, and looked up at him with a smile: "Pei Ke, I like you."

Pei Ke saw the person running towards him, opened his arms, and caught him in a full embrace. He seemed to hear the "thump-thump" sound in his own chest, so clear and so powerful.

He knew that Su Xun was a reserved person when it came to relationships. When she confessed her feelings to him four years ago, and when she told him everything after their reunion, she didn't say "I like you" under the boundless, tender moonlight. But tonight, on the night of the first snow, she smiled and told him that she liked him.

"These are all fake."

He was really happy.

"Then I'll give it a try too." The person in his arms was restless, looking at him with stubborn eyes, the blue shards at the corners of their eyes glistening as if trying to persuade him.

"Silly girl."

He had long believed that they would always be together.

Pei Ke escorted Su Xun to the dormitory building, and both of them were covered in a layer of snowflakes.

"Alright, I'm going upstairs now. I had a great day." Su Xun pulled her hand away and walked forward.

The softness in his hands suddenly disappeared, and Pei Ke suddenly grabbed that warmth again, pulling the person into his arms.

He buried his head in Su Xun's neck, savoring the faint fragrance emanating from the girl.

Su Xun let the person hold her. After a long while, she heard a deep, muffled sound coming from her neck, buried in her clothes.

"Okay."

"Huh? What did you say?"

Pei Ke released the person, "It's nothing, goodnight."

"Good night."

Su Xun ran into the stairwell, stomped her feet, and snowflakes fell all over the ground, leaving her feet wet.

She looked out of the iron gate, where the figure was still standing, indistinct in the dim light, looking in her direction.

Actually, she realized later that she hadn't understood what she was saying.

I just said the first snow was a lie, but in the end I believed it.

What an idiot.

She went back to her dorm room, but no one was there.

Liu Wei and Zhou Qin made a promise to each other, saying they would be the last people to leave the study room; Wen Yanyan and Xiang Yang had disappeared somewhere to fool around.

That's perfect, she doesn't want to share her current thoughts with anyone.

I sat down, cupped my face in my hands, and slowly recalled the events of the day.

Just as I was about to take out my phone to ask him if he had returned to his dorm, I suddenly touched something hard and square.

She took the item out; it was a small, elegant, rectangular white box with the brand's gold logo embossed on the outside.

She opened the box, and inside lay a silver bracelet.

There was no snow when she saw it, not even when she was preparing to leave for the first time. Thinking of Pei Ke's sudden hug when she left, she suddenly realized something.

This person is really something; they're too embarrassed to give gifts in person.

However, she still thought it was very cute.

She took out her phone and sent a WeChat message to someone.

The snow outside intensified, and a rustling sound came from the windowsill, like the leaves whispering.

She remembered that it was Christmas Eve the winter of her first year of junior high school.

That year, Huaicheng had its first snowfall. It wasn't heavy, but it kept her from finding peace for a long time.

She longs to grow up quickly so she can pursue the things she likes and the people she loves.

She watched the fine snow falling on the windowsill and secretly said to herself, "She seems to have a bit of a crush on Pei Ke."

If you fall in love with someone on the day of the first snow, you'll love them forever, for a lifetime.
