Su Xun has had an inexplicable fear of teachers since she was a child, so even if she doesn't know how to do a problem, she won't ask the teacher for help. Besides, she has a top student, Pei Ke, to rely on.
However, Su Xun didn't voice his thoughts, but instead nodded and said, "Okay."
"Your deskmate Pei Ke is very good at math. You can ask him questions when I'm not around. I see you two get along quite well," Teacher Liu suggested.
This time, Su Xun readily agreed, "I will ask him for more advice."
Su Xun closed the door and walked out of the office.
That's great! I've finally gained the teacher's approval. The teacher has seen all my hard work over the past few semesters.
When she first entered this class, she was under a lot of pressure. The other students had a good foundation and learned things quickly, but she was not as good and always fell behind.
At first, she envied the classmates who were praised by the teacher, thinking that she would be noticed by the teacher someday. And today she was praised too.
Just thinking about this made Su Xun incredibly happy; she even walked with a limp, her ponytail swinging in an arc behind her head.
As soon as I returned to my seat, the person next to me spoke up, "A bald guy just left something on your desk and asked me to tell you about it."
Su Xun then noticed that a box had been placed on his desk at some point. It was a delicate, light purple box.
Su Xun picked up the box but didn't open it. "Who sent this? Could there be a mistake?"
She didn't know many people at school, and judging from Pei Ke's words, it must have been sent by a classmate from another class. Among those other classes, she was only familiar with Tang Shi, but there was no reason for Tang Shi to send her something for no reason.
To her surprise, the person next to her suddenly rolled their eyes at her, "How would I know who it is? You know people yourself, how could you not know them?"
I don't know what's wrong with this person again. The two of them had a fight last time and it hasn't even been two days since they made up.
Ignoring him, Su Xun stuffed the box into her seat. She didn't know who had put it there, and she didn't really want to open it.
Looking up, I saw a small card on the table that I hadn't noticed before.
A line of text was written on the small, delicate note, in a very flamboyant hand:
"This is for you, you read that right."
Su Xun's face darkened; had this person guessed her thoughts perfectly?
She took the box out again and began to open it.
The pen tip of the person doing the calculations paused, leaving a small black dot on the paper.
What on the card could possibly be written that made me so eager to open it?
Heh~
Su Xun opened the box, stared at the contents, unsure of what expression to wear, and was momentarily speechless.
"Tch, what good stuff is this? Let Young Master Pei take a look too," he couldn't help but turn around when he saw Su Xun staring blankly at the box.
Then he ended up in the same state as Su Xun.
A whole box of White Rabbit milk candy! A whole big box of milk candy.
