Classroom 4
"So, did she accept it?" Jiang Ce asked impatiently as soon as Zhang Zhihao returned.
“When I got there, I didn’t see her, so I left it on her desk. But I discovered something big,” Zhang Zhihao said slowly.
That's just his personality; he's always a step behind others in everything he does, and he seems a bit silly, which is why Jiang Ce sent him.
If she went alone, she was afraid of scaring others. He was notorious throughout the grade, and his presence in their class would likely cause panic. Luo Feng was a smooth talker, and her little rabbit probably couldn't handle him. As for the others around him, their hair was all over the place, so she decided to leave them out.
When Luo Feng heard that someone had returned, he suddenly looked up. His face still had red marks from his clothes. He casually wiped his face with his hand and ran over to join in the fun.
"Hey Ce, this is the first time I've ever seen someone give a girl a whole box of milk candy."
Disgusted, she waved the person's hand away, saying, "Don't touch me."
"Brother Ce, you brought me milk candy?" The bald man found this intriguing.
"What, is milk candy not good enough? I think my candy is the best in the world." After saying that, he took out a few candies from his pocket, picked out one, peeled off the wrapper, and put the white milk candy into his mouth.
A rich, milky aroma filled the air.
He was thinking about what to give someone, and this was the first thing that popped into his head. So he dragged Luo Feng to the supermarket and bought several large bags of it, which they then packed in boxes.
The image of a little white rabbit eating a big white rabbit is incredibly cute.
The afternoon sun warmed his whole body, and Su Xun squinted comfortably, watching his classmates playing badminton not far away.
She had never been interested in ball sports. After PE class, she would sit on the steps next to the basketball court, watching others run around with a sense of contentment.
Huh? There are a few people in the audience who look familiar.
However, she was definitely not from their class, because those people were all wearing the school basketball team's training uniforms, and no one from their class was on the school basketball team.
Su Xun craned his neck to take a closer look.
Oh ho, aren't these the same bad students I ran into in the hallway last semester who were secretly smoking?
Actually, she shouldn't remember it so clearly after all this time. The key is that one figure in particular caught her attention—Jiang Ce.
She caught them doing something bad last time, but nothing happened.
The red figure on the field seemed to notice the gaze from this side and glanced over.
Meeting those eyes that couldn't hide their sharpness, Su Xun guiltily tugged at the corners of his mouth, forcing himself to put on a friendly smile.
Although she let her go last time, Su Xun still felt a little uneasy.
A shadow suddenly fell overhead, followed by the sound of clothes rubbing together.
Su Xun turned her head unhappily to see who was blocking her from sunbathing.
The first thing that catches the eye is the collar of a white school uniform, the zipper pulled up to the chest, giving off a nonchalant vibe. Above that is fair skin, a slightly protruding Adam's apple, and a chin that has become increasingly refined over the years. Beautiful eyes stare straight ahead, seemingly oblivious to the displeasure of those around them.
To put it simply, it's Pei Ke.
Su Xun's face felt hot, whether it was from the sun or some other secret thought that was rising in her mind.
But this person is truly lucky. It's as if God has piled all the good things on one person, and any casual action can easily stir up the romantic feelings in young girls' hearts.
However, it is not without its flaws.
She knew that there was one aspect of him that he didn't possess the same extraordinary talent that made those around him envious.
Pei Ke doesn't like sports; in other words, he might not be good at them.
Having known him for so many years, I've rarely seen him running on the sports field with other male classmates, and I've rarely seen him sweat. Every time we have PE class, he either goes back to the classroom early or wanders around the campus.
Thinking of this, Su Xun felt a little more at peace.
The little girl couldn't hide her thoughts; what she was thinking was written all over her face.
"What are you laughing at?" a puzzled voice came from beside me.
Pei Ke noticed that the person next to him was looking at him, and then he heard a soft laugh, a very faint sound, but he still noticed it.
"Isn't Young Master Pei with them?" Su Xun's tone was filled with barely concealed amusement.
"You have class soon, what kind of image do you project sitting in the classroom covered in sweat?" someone next to me scoffed.
Su Xun didn't know why Pei Ke always had these strange ideas. Every time she finished running and sat in the classroom sweating, she didn't feel that anything was wrong.
“I don’t see anything wrong with seeing the kids in my class coming back from playing ball all sweaty. Isn’t that just youthful energy?” Su Xun continued, seemingly deriving a special sense of accomplishment from subtly putting the other person down.
To his surprise, the person next to him suddenly turned around, their eyes filled with horror, as if they had heard something terrible.
"What kind of look is that?"
"Are all girls this infatuated with boys?"
Huh?
What does this have to do with being a fangirl?
"Don't think I don't understand. You little girls just like those smelly boys who are always carrying around balls."
Su Xun was a little confused by Pei Ke's thought process. Wasn't she just implying that he was in the prime of his life but acted like an old man who didn't like to move or exercise?
Was her hint wrong?
"What are you thinking about again? Did I hit the nail on the head?" Seeing that Su Xun hadn't spoken for a long time, Pei Ke became even more certain of what he was thinking.
When he first arrived, he saw her staring intently at the people on the basketball court and even smiling at him.
Heh~
"You're kidding me, what a load of rubbish." Su Xun didn't know what this person was thinking and didn't want to continue the conversation.
The latter had no intention of speaking again.
The surroundings quieted down, and she could feel the wind brushing against her skin, brushing past her ears, and passing by her nose, seemingly carrying a floral scent.
It's unclear who got lost in thought first, but the two of them just sat there without saying a word.
After basketball practice every Monday afternoon, a group of teenagers wiped their sweat and picked up the mineral water bottles next to them to drink.
"Jiang Ce, I saw it all just now, you were exchanging glances with a female classmate." A boy nudged the boy in the red basketball jersey with his shoulder.
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Jiang Ce rolled his eyes at him.
The little white rabbit just smiled at him, how cute!
I wonder if we've finished that box of White Rabbit milk candy yet. It's been almost two weeks; it should be gone by now.
Looks like I'll have to go to the supermarket again.
Oh right, we should invite Luo Feng along too, otherwise it would be too strange for a grown man to buy so many big bags of milk candy.
