Yunhe immediately dialed Su Yinwan's number.
"Hey, He'er, what's wrong?"
Su Yinwan was sitting in the living room having tea with her family.
"Wanwan, my darling, are you still living in the old house?"
"Okay, let's go back to Shallow Moon Bay tomorrow."
Su Yinwan thought it was Saturday and Yunhe wanted to ask her out.
"What? Want to go shopping?"
"No, it's just that there's something I want to discuss with you, since you're the lady of the house."
"Um?"
"Starting tomorrow, I'll also go to Shallow Moon Bay for a while."
"Really? You're not kidding? Are you sure you want to come back to Shallow Moon Bay with us for a while?"
Su Yinwan was naturally happy, but also somewhat incredulous, since she had refused to come despite being invited so many times before.
There was only one reason: she was afraid of disturbing her and Rong Jing's time together.
Why did you suddenly come up with an idea today, and why are you being so proactive?
Su Yinwan had countless questions in her mind.
Yunhe didn't intend to hide anything from her and told her everything that had happened that morning and before.
"It is indeed a bit annoying, but He'er, I'm sure that Wang Yuhang is trying to pursue you again."
Those involved are often confused, while bystanders see things clearly.
Based on what Yunhe said, Su Yinwan was quite certain that Wang Yuhang treated her differently.
The only possibility is that he still likes her and wants to pursue her.
“He dares to do that. I used to scold him terribly in college. We agreed to be brothers, but he actually wanted to be my girlfriend.”
Yunhe said loudly.
Thinking back to his sophomore year, he invited her to a basketball game and confessed his feelings to her in front of so many people.
God knows how embarrassed and passive she must have felt.
In order not to embarrass Wang Yuhang, Yunhe agreed on the spot.
Afterwards, Yunhe explained the situation to Wang Yuhang with a serious expression, stating that she only had feelings for him as a friend, that there were no romantic feelings between them at the time, and that it was even less likely that there would be now.
"Wanwan, if it's really like you said, I have to make things clear with him. But are you sure? What if I'm just being presumptuous and misunderstand? Wouldn't that be really embarrassing?"
Yunhe didn't want to go through the same thing that happened in college.
Why is this person so persistent?
"My sixth sense tells me that he really has feelings for you. Of course, if you're not sure, you can observe him for a while longer."
After hearing what Su Yinwan said, Yunhe made a decision in her heart.
"Are you sure you're coming tomorrow? If so, I'll have Aunt Liu tidy up your guest room today."
"Um."
"Okay, I'll pick you up tomorrow?"
"No need, I'll just take a taxi."
"Okay, I'll be waiting for you at home tomorrow."
"Uh-huh."
The two chatted for a while longer before hanging up.
"Yunhe is coming to stay in Qianyue Bay?"
Rong Jing sat next to Su Yinwan and overheard their conversation.
"Yeah, a guy has been standing downstairs at her house several times, which makes her very uncomfortable, so she's thinking of going away for a few days."
Rong Jing didn't object, after all, she was his wife's best friend.
Even though he might be neglected at that time, as long as he's happy every night, that's all that matters.
Little did they know, Ye Chen, who was sitting in a small corner, overheard their conversation.
He had been focused on his medical books, but his attention was drawn to them the moment Su Yinwan called out Yun He's name.
In the end, by calmly and composedly eavesdropping without changing his expression, Ye Chen roughly understood the whole matter.
Immediately afterwards, he closed the book he had only read halfway through and went back to his room.
Then, he took the key to his usual place and left the Rong family's old house.
As expected, he went to Yunhe's house again.
Yunhe had just ordered groceries online.
Although she really didn't want to cook, she had no choice but to do so in order to satisfy Ye Chen.
Just make simple home-style dishes.
Soon, in less than twenty minutes, the deliveryman arrived at her door with her groceries.
"Ms. Yun, here is your food. Please accept it."
"Thanks!"
"You're welcome."
Yunhe reached out and took the bag from the deliveryman's hand, then closed the door and went to the kitchen.
Let's make scrambled eggs with tomatoes and tomato and egg soup today.
She loves to eat tomatoes, whether raw, with sugar, or in soups or stir-fries.
She likes all kinds of approaches.
The ingredients weren't complicated. After a simple preparation, Yunhe started stir-frying vegetables and making soup.
Twenty minutes later, the dish and soup were finally ready.
After she brought the dishes to the table, she realized she had forgotten to cook rice.
"My memory is definitely not suited for cooking," Yunhe said with a wry smile.
The absence of rice did not affect her ability to prepare dried vegetables.
Immediately, she took out her phone, found a good angle, took a few photos that looked delicious, and sent them to Ye Chen.
[Lunch today?]
A few seconds later, Ye Chen did not reply to her.
Yunhe assumed he had probably gone to eat.
Then, she put down her phone and began to enjoy the lunch she had rarely cooked.
Just then, the doorbell rang.
Yunhe had no choice but to put down the tomato she hadn't even had a chance to eat yet.
As she walked to the door, she looked through the peephole and saw Ye Chen standing outside.
A smile instantly appeared on his lips, and he quickly opened the door.
Why are you here?
"I need to talk to you about something."
"Um?"
"We'll talk about it later."
"Have you got a meal yet?"
"not yet."
"I just finished cooking, want to eat some together?"
"Um."
Ye Chen didn't stand on ceremony with her and readily agreed.
The two washed their hands and returned to the dining table to sit down.
