Chapter 191 Yunhe Wants to Move to a Different Place

"Is this all for lunch?"

Ye Chen looked at the two identical dishes, the only difference being that one had more soup.

"Yes, it's just me eating here, so I wanted to keep it simple."

This is so simple it couldn't be simpler.

Ye Chen pursed his lips and remained silent, quietly observing the dishes and soup on the table. He showed no disdain whatsoever, only a sense of helplessness at the woman's casualness.

"However, there's no rice; I forgot to cook it."

Yunhe looked at Ye Chen and said awkwardly.

"It's okay, I'll remember after cooking it a few more times. I'll go cook some noodles, we'll have it with soup later."

Ye Chen got up and went to the kitchen.

Fortunately, he bought noodles yesterday, so he can use them as a staple food.

In no time, the noodles for two were steaming hot and ready to serve.

Ye Chen poured the cooked noodles into the tomato and egg soup, tasted it, and then took the soup noodles out of the kitchen.

"Have a meal."

He served her a bowl of soup noodles before serving himself.

The two began to eat.

The tomato and egg noodles tasted good, not too salty or bland, just right.

Yunhe mistakenly believed that her cooking skills were not bad.

Little did they know, Ye Chen had adjusted the flavor of this.

Immediately afterwards, she picked up a piece of scrambled eggs with tomatoes.

The intense saltiness of the egg instantly assaulted her taste buds.

"Why is this so salty? I don't remember putting in much salt. Did they mistake salt for sugar?"

Yunhe forced herself to swallow the egg; after all, it was something she had worked hard to make.

Seeing Ye Chen reach out with his chopsticks to pick up some food, Yun He quickly stopped him.

"It's too salty, don't eat it."

"It's okay. If it's salty, you can soak it in soup and eat it. We can't waste it."

Ye Chen ignored her hand and ate several bites in a row.

Even Yunhe frowned as she looked at it.

However, the man opposite her remained unfazed and even seemed to enjoy his meal, leading her to believe that the dish was of high quality.
