It seems he's really in love.
Or perhaps, they've entered a period of ambiguity.
They're always on their phones, tapping away with their fingers. From what I've observed, the rhythm of those taps on the screen suggests they're chatting with someone.
It's unbelievable that he could talk for over twenty minutes.
He and I can't talk for that long.
I remember one time he came to my house on the weekend, and I told him something really funny. He started by responding to me, but then he started to doze off and ended up sleeping at my house.
Another time, he had to go back to the US for work. We finally managed to find time to chat despite the time difference, but I was the only one talking non-stop, while all he could hear on the other end was his breathing.
Besides me, who else could tolerate a partner like him?
He was truly a boring and dull person, as quiet as an expensive green plant, placed there, beautiful and purifying the air, but with no other emotional value.
People like this are the least suitable for dating.

He just asked me if there were any good movies to watch recently.
That's really something, he's going to treat people to a movie.
God knows, we've only been to the movies three times in the last six months, and I was the one who invited him each time. He doesn't like movies at all; he thinks modern movies are no good and prefers watching old films at home. Wow, being in a relationship really changes things; everyone's more open to new things now.
I said yes, and recommended a romance movie to him.
After listening, he raised an eyebrow, seemingly quite interested. I secretly followed him and saw him looking at the movie's synopsis on an app. He noticed me following him, stopped, and asked what was wrong. I asked him, "Who are you going to see it with?"
He stared at me without saying a word, and after a long while he suddenly asked me: Do you want to see it?
I said: I don't want to.
I really don't want to. I like Marvel or animated movies, and I have absolutely no interest in romance films.
He then asked me how long my commute to work had been these past few days.
When he asked that question, I felt a surge of inexplicable anger inside me. I don't know why, but I was just incredibly angry.
If he hadn't suddenly revealed the truth, I wouldn't need to get up twenty minutes earlier every day. I could have comfortably sat in my little pajamas every day, enjoying the cool breeze while eating breakfast. It's so annoying!
