Throughout the meal, Lin Yuxun's words were unclear. She realized he was only approaching her to get to know her. She had no experience with this shady practice of replacing people with new ones. He was just testing her, so she remained vague and declined the offer, saying she'd consider it. But she also made it clear that no private deal was possible and that she had to work with her partner, Long Weihe. He could take a risk with someone he knew well, but he'd have to consider revealing his intentions to the partner who had rashly slapped him. He could use tactics to coerce one person into working for him, but expanding the scope to two people would be too much trouble. But she wasn't willing to take private orders, which was a plus for him. He thought she wasn't greedy for money, which made it easier for him to use her.
