The atmosphere was very tense. Acacia and bellerus were glaring fireballs at each other. Everywhere had gone so quiet, except the glowing eyes of the two of them with every intention to settle it out there. Bellerus’s multicolored eyes lit up in a hard candent while Acacia’s brown ones turned into a blueish glow.
"I’ll say it one Last time," Acacia sneered in a deadly voice, "Release her before I turn you upside down," her voice was dangerously low, her fingers twitching very badly like she was about to bring her words to life.
"Don’t make that mistake, I’m not the same person I used to be." He replied.
"I’m not blind!" Acacia took a quick glance back at Raziah who was still in that position. They didn’t bring her here for all this to happen. They were supposed to extract the information without her even knowing, but now bellerus had decided to act like a complete idiot and Raziah now knows everything happening around them will always have something to do with her. Acacia didn’t expect bellerus to immediately point Raziah out as someone that was out of the ordinary immediately, but she should have known being the crown witch came with its privileges, and those eyes of his...can see better than any other witch alive.
"When you don’t know what you’re dealing with, you put it in shackles or render it useless first!" He yelled at her face this time. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Acacia retorted with a louder voice, "The more reason I shouldn’t bound it is because I have no idea what I’m dealing it. It has never proven to be a real threat yet, and everything was still going according to plan till you decided to do this! How can an idiot be crowned the head witch if he handles the situation like a ten-year-old?!"
"Because we were supposed to do this together!!" Bell grounded out to her, throwing his fingers between the two of them, "We were supposed to do this together! You were supposed to stand by my side and help me with all this. You were supposed to be the sibling who didn’t leave! You were supposed to be my partner in everything I did. We made a promise to look after the amethyst forest together! And yet...you left everything before all for him. And you dare call me insane?" He lashed out ferociously, his eyes glowing even harder like he was about to lose his mind.
"Oh, I didn’t realize you missed my presence that much," Acacia rolled her eyes uncaringly, before spreading her hands out, "Need a hug?" She slurred in her speech.
Bellerus only shook his head at her, "You’ll never understand." At the same time, a heavy sigh escaped his lips and his eyes turned back to their soft glow once again. He shook his head apathetically and took several deep breaths to calm his nerves. The last time he had spoken so aggressively had been a long time ago, but seeing his sister barging into the forest again without a care, accompanied by a woman he could literally feel something extremely dark growing in her heart, and one that had cold blood rushing through her veins and barely keeping her heart alive, he knew there was trouble on its way.
Big trouble. Something that could surpass the whole supernatural community infact. He didn’t know the exact details, but he knew the woman would be standing in the very middle of everything.
Everyone must have left their guard down for a second there, because all they heard was the sound of a good slap and Bell’s head had been whipped to the side. His cheeks were red, and handprints of whoever had slapped him were now appearing on his face. Oreo’s eyes widened in utter shock...and Acacia gasped.
"Yes, I’m a very big threat to all of you but don’t let your ego get in the way of your duties. Like the Sorceress here said, you shouldn’t bound something you know very little about," Raziah warned with a low growl from her throat, bringing her palm back to her side to drop.
Bellerus and the other witches around were too stunned to say a word. Bell’s eyes were shaking with confusion and something even more exhilarating. He just couldn’t wrap his head around how in the world she had broken out of his spell in such a short amount of time, and how fast she had moved over to him from where he had left her to where he stood. How he had only sensed her presence after she had slapped him, and just how long he was even taking to digest all that happened.
"You..." Acacia’s lips were trembling now. She’s seen Raziah in battle with a vampire before, but no one told her that the woman had grown stronger over that short time. She’s never even dared to slap bell no matter how annoying he Became, and yet...
Things just kept giving more and more exciting and frightening.
Raziah’s body felt so light, and the pounding in her heart was as a result of the break-free. She knew she had to Concentrate well to break out of the hold, and as they kept raining retorts at each other, Raziah had closed her eyes and concentrated till she was able to overcome the weight on her body, and burst out of the spell. But it was her first time fighting against the power of the witch, and it wasn’t just any witch but the one that looked the most powerful in the room, so of course they would be some repercussions.
She could already feel something warm running down and out of her nose, and needn’t check to see that it was blood. Her eyes were beginning to see double, and she knew she might have outdone herself there. Her legs were finding it hard to keep themselves glued to the floor, and the swirling motion and blurred vision told her that she was already staggering around.
Raziah didn’t want to fall. But the spell had been just too powerful.
Her legs lost their balance completely, and she was just about to curse under her breath for being so weak after just one spell when someone caught her arm right before her back reached the ground. Everything was already turning dark around her, so she couldn’t see who had caught and stopped the fall.
"I’m surprised you are only bleeding after all that," A small chuckle followed, and Raziah finally made out something like metallic-grey locks of hair dancing in the air, right before the light was completely snatched from her eyes.
