Bell opened the door, and there stood his sister with a scowl on his face and the two witches he had put on her. She was shooting him a death glare, and didn’t even allow the others to speak before she beat them to it, "You know no one in this Forest can handle me, and I don’t trust leaving you alone with his Majesty’s bride." She stated strongly, moving closer so he would let her walk into the door.
"You and I know no one else is allowed to come in here except for the Crown witch," He quickly blocked her path, and she eyed him like a tigress set on her prey.
"And you took Raziah in there?"
"She’s unconscious, and I’m about to find out what she is and give you your results so you three can get the hell out of here,"
"First of all, I forced Oreo to accompany me here so don’t you dare throw him out whenever he decides to return. Second..." Acacia ignored the anger in his eyes as she bumped into his shoulders and strode into the place like she owned in, swinging her hands and waist, "I also have Crown witch powers running through my veins. The only difference is that yours awakened, which made you the superior,"
Acacia recalled what the place looked like as she stared. The most breathtaking and spellbinding place in all of the amethyst forest was the silver cave, where the Crown witch watched everything that was happening inside and outside the amethyst forest. It was like an underground cave that was made of silver walls, glowing from the inside. The ceilings had shards of icicles hanging from every direction of it, and the floor was mostly moist all the time and very smooth due to the small river flowing inside which was the most important aspect of the whole room.
It was a very small river as wide as two canoe boats, and it was magical. It forms an almost full circle around the cave, and had this rushing sound like huge tidal waves slamming around the shore even though the river bank was tiny and anyone could easily dip their hands inside the enchanting water that always reflected the light of the cave, making it look silver too.
To the side were about four small crystal balls or orbs sitting on tens and thousands of years old wooden table that still looked so brand new like it was just carved yesterday, which a chair that accompanied and matched the table. Deeper inside the cave lay something important too, but that wasn’t what Acacia came there for.
Her eyes zoomed in on the canoe sitting at the start of the enchanting lake by the left, and she scurried over to see Raziah lying inside of it. Bellerus was behind her to make sure his rough annoying sister who never listened to him doesn’t touch her, since they both know once whatever it is has been placed inside the canoe of the lake, it isn’t allowed to move in the slightest bit.
And since Raziah was still unconscious, it was the perfect time to get their result. The blood that had run out of her nose earlier had already been wiped off completely, and she looked deep in her state of sleep.
"I hope you were careful with her," Acacia turned back and glared at him.
"I hope you were careful with her," He repeated, doing the same thing she did with thick mockery laced in his voice right before he rolled her eyes, "Like we would still achieve this level of peacefulness with each other if you noticed a strand of her hair out of place," He added with a small shake of his head.
Acacia also followed him in Rolling her eyes before moving away and standing next to him knowing it was high time they started. The sooner, the better, and the faster they leave the forest. She stood beside her brother, watching the woman lying on the boat with her clothes spread around her body, and legs crossed. Her hands were placed on her chest, and her breath intakes were slow and steady.
Bell heard as Acacia suddenly snapped her fingers out of the blue, and threw her a mocking and questioning look which said ’ Really? It doesn’t work for you. I’m the head of this place, ’ And Acacia eyed him back with a look that said, ’ You should be Lucky it didn’t, or else I would have sneaked inside here instead of asking for your help! ’. It was so funny how they could interpret their face and hand signals so easily without using any spells, probably because the whole thing started since they were young.
Bellerus shook his head in her direction, before settling his eyes back on what he was here for. The water in the lake, even though it had demarcations at the beginning and end of it that didn’t allow it to overflow or leave the cave through the walls which were supposed to make the enchanting lake a stagnant water, it’s deep and everlasting magical properties has it flowing around all the time, back and forth. And even with the flowing water, it wasn’t moving the canoe in the slightest.
But with a snap of the crown witch’s fingers, whatever forces keeping the canoe unmoving disappeared and it began to move along with the woman lying on it. Acacia and bell walked along the side of the small river to witness any progress it made.
"I’m glad he’s married now," Bell started as they walked along the boat.
Acacia frowned, "And what is that supposed to mean?"
"Exactly as you heard it," He glanced at her with a wicked smile tipping the side of his lips, "You ran off to him, but he easily tossed you over to one side,"
Acacia’s fists tightened so hard her knuckles turned white. She already hated it enough whenever her mind reminded her about Raziah’s existence which was practically all the time, but it was even more suffocating and stinging when her brother, of all people, says it just to bite her where it really hurts.
"He already made it clear that I’ll only be there to serve him!" She eyed her brother callously.
"Like you hadn’t already fallen in love with him before fleeing the amethyst forest. I’m sure it’s slowly killing you inside from the moment you found out he’s gotten himself a bride,"
Acacia was so close to strangling the living daylights out of her brother and probably stuff his head into the enchanting lake several times till he’s begging and choking out of his senses like a madman.
"You know where I’m going at," He shook his head in dismay, continuing their walk along with the boat, "And by now you should understand you will own no place in his heart. You’ll only be there to truly serve him, and nothing more. The only other thing you can do is bed him..." And he gave her a once over. Her clothes were as revealing as always, "Which I’m sure you’ve done countless of times,"
Acacia gritted her teeth and attempted to calm her nerves down, "I know you have a problem with me but you didn’t have to bring that up!"
"Aren’t you the one who always liked to hit where it hurts the most?"
"Oh, God! I’m sorry I left the forest!" She said sarcastically.
"Now you know a little of how it feels. It might take you some time, but it would slowly creep in and you’ll regret going to stay with him and leaving everything you knew behind. Men like Aragon Odysseus that have taken over the world are cruel and merciless. They would do anything to win you in and I’m not surprised why he targeted you, after all, you’re the third most powerful witch in the world, and the blood sister of the Crown witch."
There’s no one who is amongst the top hierarchy of the supernatural community and hasn’t heard of the King of Erandell whom suddenly returned ten years ago and spread his dark wings all over the place. Knowing him, he looked like a free, lively, and ongoing man with a loud presence that oozed out of his body like a charm and then the other side of him that is dark and ominous.
"He’s not like that anymore!" Acacia could take the part about her leaving the forest for him, but she wouldn’t sit down and allow him talk bad about Aragon, "I’ll admit that he was powerful and dangerous the first few months and took over everything his hands touched, but he became King...and I’ve been assisting him with duties and I know deep down who he truly is. He’s changed! You’re the one with eyes that can see better than everything, why can’t you see the truth?!"
"If he’s really changed..." Bellerus turned to her with a strong look in his eyes as if he could see and feel something no one else could, "Why hasn’t that other side of him disappeared forever? If he’s really changed, why would..."
Acacia’s attention on her brother was interrupted when she noticed something glowing, and coming from the boat. Bellerus paused and quickly followed her line of sight to see something, an item of clothing that Raziah was putting on beginning to react to the process of the canoe ride that revealed so many things in its path.
It was the old wristband she never took off.
