From the darkness of the cave, emerged a woman Raziah wouldn’t have recognized if not for the familiarity in her voice and actions. Raziah’s jaw literally dropped at the sight that greeted her of the red-headed woman, whom had just stolen her breath away.
Everything seem to have paused as Raziah let herself take in the wondrous creature that had just stepped out to her. Aletta’s skin was now even more beautiful on her body, and her clothing looked glued right on her skin, with just a single strap. Her eyelashes were much longer than before, and their colorful strands stood out even more, bringing out her big eyes. All around her curly long red hair and arms were flowers that had rolled all over, beautiful and outstanding. Tonight she wasn’t putting on her cloak, and her ears were pointy. Not to mention, something that resembled wood was growing out of the sides of her hair just above her ears, and they curved and formed something like a special crown on her head.
What had Raziah almost gasping were the colorful wings that crowned her back, even more beautiful than that of a butterfly. They were glittering in the darkness, breathtaking and unreal to the eyes whom had the privilege to witness such.
Aletta was looking so different...and Raziah recognized those wings. The time she had fallen into the abyss while on her way to save Caius, it was the same wings that she saw while something had grabbed and pulled her back up.
Aletta had been the one that saved her that night. There was no doubt about it.
"Are you...hurt?" Aletta crawled a little closer, afraid to stray too close because she had also seen the changes on the princess’s body, especially the longer hair and that streaking cold that was making her almost shiver.
Raziah was still dumbfounded. She knew even if she tried to talk no words would leave her mouth at the moment. Neither vampires nor witches possess unnaturally long colorful lashes, nor wings or wood growing out of their head, so that means the Aletta she was looking at was neither one of them.
Raziah ought to have moved back from her. Anyone she knew seeing her in this state was the worse, and Raziah also thought the same for Aletta and that must be why the redhead had hidden inside this cave so she would not be found... but here they were...both of them unable to run away from each other. They both knew perfectly well what they were risking. It’s one secret for another. None of them would dare spill, and they needn’t no words to swear on that.
Seeing as Raziah still had the injured leg clutched, Aletta reached out calmly and gently pressed her short nails against the skin and almost immediately she pulled away reflexively. Her body trembled a bit, not knowing how to digest what she just felt.
Raziah’s leg was warm. The Cold Princess... felt warm.
"It hurts..." Aletta’s meek voice whispered in the darkness, just as lightning flashed right outside, with Raziah now back to her silent groans of pain, "I’m sorry, I can’t risk doing anything..." Aletta said softly, before staring down at her palms with shaky eyes. So far nothing else had happened to her apart from her body transforming on its own, and as she stared horridly at her palms...she kept praying the curse she held in them wouldn’t suddenly act up on their own due to the full Red moon.
Raziah had so many questions. Right now Aletta resembled one of the famous mythical creatures everyone knew about, but it wasn’t the perfect time to ask because of her leg that wouldn’t even let her speak. Every skin in her body was cold, except the wound that was warm. Could it be the warmth that was causing her so much pain? How fast can she get rid of it?
Aletta watched Raziah’s face turn and twist as the sound of torture left her lips in small grunts that sounded like she was slowly perishing from the inside. If only there was an ice block nearby then she would have placed it on the leg to reduce the warmth and probably help with the pain. Even without the ice, the cold water of the rain could also help with the pain but she couldn’t risk it either. These hands of hers are just too risky, even for something as small as this. She was afraid she would worsen the princess’s condition instead, and so she could only offer comfort in the form of words.

Just above his head in the raging skies, thunderstruck hard and flashed through the sky. The sound was ear-splitting, and thunderstorms occurred on and on like the downpour and fury of the sky were never gonna end. Somewhere in the middle of the forest, a shirtless man drenched from head to toe was taking powerful strides against the wet ground.
His long hair stuck mostly to his back and face, muscles ripping through his skin with those otherworldly writings engraved deeply into his back. It almost looked as if it was slowly disappearing as water ran down his back, trying to cool down the unbelievable amount of heat surrounding his skin. There was no ordinary living soul in its right mind that would come across him, and wouldn’t flee immediately.
Aragon was like a walking disaster that was twitching as every second went by. His magnificent and dangerous aura was sucking the air around, and the wind had no effect on him. His void eyes now held something insane, something that looked a hundred times more than bloodlust and bloodshot.
He let her escape. He let that hideous being escape.
He knew she was still alive, after all, he had watched her escape from him that night twelve years ago. It was a disaster. He would never be satisfied until he has torn her body from limb to limb, and blessed her with the slowest and most grueling death no one can ever imagine. She would pay immensely for what she did that night.
He balled his hands into fists so hard his sharp claws plunged their way into his palms and came out from behind, blood running down his hands and being carried and washed by the rain.
"Everything would be ready in the next thirty days. Keep calm, your revenge dish would definitely come at its hottest," That Fear-gripping, beastly voice growled softly from inside of him.
