Blood rushed through her. Her feet shivered on the bare floor, and her long hair she hadn’t trimmed danced with the heavy wind as the storm that had risen from the fallen barrier calmed down, and cleared significantly till she could see her targets clearly.
The first male looked very young, maybe the same age as Maria, and had scruffy brown hair. From the looks of it, he gave out a cringy aura but Raziah knew he was a witch. The woman next to him looked fierce with bloodred hair, and you could see this excitement and bloodthirst oozing from her eyes.
The last man was the simplest of them all. He had to be even older than Octavius and was holding a small book to his chest protectively simply staring around.
"Lucky us," The redhead stepped forward as her eyes gave Raziah a once over with a wicked grin etching her face, "We found her,"
"She does fits the description." The scruffy one yawned like he was bored of everything. Raziah noted that even though they were still corpses, they had a mind of their own but they were still being controlled.
As they spoke, Raziah focused on tearing her dress till she could move freely in it. Her mind was in a state of pandemonium, but she wasn’t letting it show on the outside. She would not show them how weak she felt right now against their overwhelming strength and presence.
Did she even stand a chance against them? Does she stand a chance against... Even one of them? They were ancient, and everyone knows the ancient Vampires are the strongest that ever lived. Plus, they came from that scary and creepy grave packed with people that seemed powerful.
This was very bad.
"Have you seen a witch with long silver hair and cerulean-colored eyes?" Raziah threw the question nonchalantly at them.
The scruffy one cocked his head to the side, studying the lady in front of him. Just as she had been described to them, her aura was strange and heavy. He could feel something cold and powerful sipping out of her pores like it was now a part of her.
"I can’t stand here all day. have you?" Raziah asked again, when the wind suddenly picked up its pace against her face, and she caught the sight of the redhead standing right in front of her with her fist speeding toward Raziah’s face.
"Don’t worry about him. He’s being taken good care of right outside!" The redhead giggled like a maniac as her fist covered the distance between them. Adrenaline shot through the princess’s body and she instantly gathered all her reflexes and slammed the woman’s fists away just as the punch grazed her nose.
It was a very close call, but Raziah was too late to defend the next one that came and her stomach received the punch.
At least not everything. Raziah had managed to grab the redhead’s arm before she took all the hits, and even though she had lessened the impact with that, it didn’t stop pain from bursting through her, and blood gently ran down the side of her mouth.
Looking up at the redhead still holding her arm, Raziah arched a brow in question and pride, "My turn, right?"
And Raziah’s fist came up with the intention of giving the woman an uppercut, but the Vampiress caught her arm and stopped the momentum. Immediately, Raziah took up her foot and slammed it on the woman’s cheek, whipping the redhead’s face to the side as blood spluttered out of her mouth.
The redhead almost couldn’t believe how strong that kick was.
Before she could recuperate, Raziah had landed another at the other side of her face, and then another, and another. Twisting the fist that was still on her belly away, Raziah quickly backed away from her.
She put a certain distance between them, hoping her kicks were enough to have knocked out the woman. Wait, can corpses get knocked out? How do you even kill what’s already dead?!
But the Vampiress Redhead didn’t move. Her head was sagged with her shoulders, staring at the floor hard. Her lips slowly stretched and a guttural and mad chuckle left her lips. She looked up at Raziah, the Vampiress’s face covered in blood and broken at certain places but there wasn’t even an atom of pain on her face.
Smiling through her bloody teeth, the woman cracked her head like she was about to get serious.
"You’re not a Vampire, and neither are you a witch. She told us you were powerful, but never said you’d interest me this much," The woman uttered, spitting out a big ball of blood from her mouth.
"It’s been so long since I got beaten this badly. For that, I shall rip off those legs of yours and keep them as a reminder!" She raged out with that smile on her face again and took off.
The moment Raziah realized the woman had gotten faster like she was now part of the wind, something blindingly fast whacked against her side, and she stumbled to the other side. Another slammed to the side of her leg, making her fall on her knee. The next was a loud blow right on her back, and she felt like the force had her body plummeting deep down under the earth.
Everything turned hazy in her eyes, but then a harsh blow followed.
One that turned one of her legs at an untold angle, breaking her thigh bone. Raziah churned and whimpered in pain, powerless.
"I sense the child," The man with the book said, pointing somewhere at the other side of the cliff, "There’s a woman and a boy with her. Drack, You should go and take care of them."
Raziah’s heart beat. No, it slammed and recoiled and pounded again. It was loud against her ear, very loud. There was something within her, rising. It was taking over the blood in her veins, it drove her heart wild. Every sense, every tingle in her body grew higher...
"I’m done with this one. I’ll be taking the legs then I’ll go after..." The redhead was saying when something cold and strong grabbed her foot that was on Raziah’s back. She looked down at Raziah, who was now breathing through her mouth as she tightened her grip on the woman’s leg and jumped to her feet.
There was a sharp intake of breath, and the Vampiress quickly backed away and landed somewhere close to her comrades. All the hairs on her veins had stood up, and her eyes widened in shock when she saw Raziah holding a bleeding foot in her hand.
Looking down at her own leg, she no longer had a foot intact.
Raziah had ripped it out.
Raziah was standing, but her leg was still broken. Her Injuries weren’t healing, but her body had gone paler than a vampire’s skin and you could literally see something like steam coming out of her skin. The torn limb she held in her hand was instantly covered with ice, and Raziah shattered it into pieces.
Her hair began to glow, and she cracked her neck like she was just getting started too. By the time she looked up, there was something new in her eyes. Her iris now had a small circular white glow around its circumference, and her lashes were glowing just like her hair.
Her hands were balled into tight fists, and there were waves of cold aura being thrown at her enemies mercilessly. A small noise passed by the scruffy one’s ear, and he glanced back with terror in his eyes only to find the Vampiress’s lifeless body dancing on its feet before the headless figure fell on the ground and instantly turned back into dust and sand.
Behind them was Raziah leaning on a tree with the woman’s head moving between her fingers just before it also dissolved into sand.
She dusted off the particles in her hand like they were filthy trash with disgust written in her eyes. Once they were off, she looked up at the two men that were about to get butchered. They should have just left the matter of the child out of it til they had properly disposed of her, but some people just loved to run their mouths.
Good thing they did though because the hatred she felt right now isn’t something another feeling can intrude on and make her change her mind.
She was in a brutal stage, with a brutal mind filled with brutal thoughts. She would spill their blood and turn their flesh into her toy.
When she opened her mouth to speak, it was colder, deeper, and intoxicatingly dark, "So, What were you saying about the children and woman you were planning to go after?"
