Chapter 193: Part 1 - War.

This wasn’t a battle. It was war.

Everything was being turned upside down. Aragon was in complete defense mode, while Raziah was attacking him from every angle. King Eleazar must have held her in such high esteem to have gifted her with a sword made of the strongest material on earth, that even overwhelming strength could not crush it or else Aragon’s claws would have shattered it by now.

The fight was brutal, with no side faltering or willing to back down. Even as they fought, they kept studying each other’s moves seeking to find an opening to strike down the other.

Aragon did not like Raziah’s goal. Does she even understand the gravity of what she wants to do? But could he continue to blame her? He had turned her into this with his own hand. Now, he would carry it upon himself to stop her with everything he’s got.

A harsh blow made an impact on his cheeks, the collision pushing him back a few feet. There was no time to come out of it as she had already attacked again, sword in the air coming straight for his head.

The air around them sizzled like molten lava was being poured onto ice. Every contact was met with steam running between them, and the air around them kept exploding with every breath. Their movements could not be seen by the naked eye, and the clash of sword and claw had sparks flying everywhere that could cause a fire.

Raziah was coming at him with all she had. She was so engulfed with Rage that the iris of her eyes were nowhere to the found, and both eyes had turned white. She parred and attacked with her sword with no mercy and her body language, Savage.

She assailed him with her ice powers any chance she got, but he was fast enough to see them coming and dodge just in time. Raziah was getting more and more impatient, dying to get rid of him already.

She would have loved to keep him alive and torture him, but she had an even better idea. She would kill him, and enjoy her time murdering the rest of them, one by one. And from hell, Aragon would watch her and would feel despair because he has failed to protect them.

"Just imagine the screams of your brother once I rip out one of his arms!" She flew up and tried to deliver one of those extreme kicks of hers, but Aragon caught the leg before it could crack open his skull.

Raziah leaned in close till their faces were about to touch, "Have you ever heard your brother scream before? Watched him beg for mercy? Don’t worry, I’ll give you a show you’ll never forget!" She exclaimed and added power to her legs, trying to overpower him enough to break his hand and knock a hole through his head.

The rush of cold coming from her legs had him backing away, knowing she was about to blast him again with ice, but that small falter gave her the opening to break his wrist and land the kick.

Just as expected, her toes broke into his skull and kicked him. Aragon was sent flying away into the forest, slamming into several trees as he went while trying to stop the momentum and get back on his feet when he saw that she was already next to him with a cruel smile on her face.

Her feet came down on his stomach, and the heel of her armor slashed deeply into his belly, blood gushing out. His body was sent plummeting into the earth, breaking through the ground and forming a deep hole but Raziah was already following him down the hole with her sword.

"There’s nowhere to run now!!" She grinned just as the sword came in line with his forehead, a split second away from going through it.

There was a huge explosion all of a sudden, and the hole that they had both been in expanded and a large piece of the ground burst into pieces, following debris and dust with lots of trees uprooted from the upthrow of the earth and the trembles that came with it.

From Afar, one could see a flock of birds flying away from the forest as a result of the explosion.

Raziah had been blown away with several cuts on her body, and cracks on her armor that was already falling off. She immediately pulled up to her feet, spitting out flood from the deep injury she had gotten from the explosion. Whatever had happened, it was Aragon.

If not that she had used a ball of ice to protect herself, she would have been a goner by now. And even with the ball of ice, her stomach had been torn open.

But she was never one to feel pain or care if she was in a bad condition. She would only feel the pain once she had achieved her objective, and that was defeating the man standing across her.

Aragon’s clothing had been blown off, and he was left only with a pair of small shorts. She could see clearly the markings that were embedded on his skin, and the King stood in his glory breathing in and out what looked like fire.

He knew she was strong... but she was only getting more and more stronger. If this keeps up, she might end up defeating him. And if she defeats him, that means she’s strong enough to defeat every other creature out there. Her powers have always been growing, and they only grew the more she caves Into the darkness that has eaten up her heart.

"What do we do?" Aragon asked.

"No matter what. We have to keep our feelings aside. This is a fight that would decide the fate of the rest...," Silver, Aragon’s beast and the King of Hell replied.

"I... can’t kill her!" Aragon seethed, gritting his teeth.

"I feel just the same way. What do you say we lock her up instead?" Silver suggested.

"No Dungeon in this world can contain what her powers can do right now!" Aragon retorted, his eyes fixed on the woman who looked ready to attack again.

"Who said anything about locking her up in this world?"

Faster than the blink of an eye, Raziah was attacking Aragon again. Her sword had been reinforced with her powers and each swing had strong torrents of sharp glaciers shooting out of it, and freezing up everything it touched.

She came in like throwing attacks from every direction, leaving no opening for a counterattack from him. Every part of her was very focused on what she had to do, and with every second she got even faster and closer to her goal.

Her concentration was over and beyond, and one could only see sparks of golden and glaciers flying around with a loud current of wind pulsing from her consistent and super fast attacks.

And then, her moment arrived.

The small opening presented itself, and she hesitated not to send her sword in a horizontal line heading straight for his neck. It came with a power of speed and cold, cutting through air so sharply it might have been slicing atoms along the way.

And then, it reached its destination...and sliced through perfectly.

Halfway through.

Blood gushed out of the opening, running down Aragon’s neck and what was left was for her ice to finish the job. Her sword had already gone halfway through his neck, but Raziah already knew this had been way too easy.

He would not let himself be so easily defeated.

Just as predicted, something incredible happened.

His hand flew up and caught the sword before he was beheaded completely, clutching it between his fingers just as the blood that had been gushing out of his neck turned into flowing Magma, whistling loudly as she met the rock ice on her sword.

Raziah’s eyes flew open. So this was the power from hell Evander had told her Aragon had gotten from his beast.

"Hazel, "Another breath of fire came from Aragon, and he instantly shattered the sword he’d been clutching into pieces. His voice had never been so deep before, and cold sweat ran up her back knowing Aragon wasn’t the only one speaking to her right now, with his devilish-looking eyes now shifting between red and black again, "You need to come with us...to hell!"

And as fast as lightning, he had slammed a fist to the ground. Raziah didn’t have the time to acknowledge or brace herself for the ear-splitting blast that shook the whole surface of the earth, and from the discharge of so much energy, was a large and unfathomably deep hole.

Right before he wrapped his arms around her chest from behind, holding her arms captive. She exploded with ice, trying to freeze him but the Magma began pouring out from every pore of his body, keeping the disastrous cold from reaching him.

Then, he flung both of them down the hole he had created.
