Chapter 45: The Guardian

At night, Harry took Ron, put on invisibility cloaks, and went to the kitchen.

Walk through the auditorium.

Just entered the underground corridor.

"Wait, my legs are a little weak." Ron grabbed Harry.

Harry turned around and gave him a questioning look.

"This is too close to Professor Snape's office." Ron took a deep breath, "Let me take a break."

He was afraid of Snape.

Even though he behaved well in class and was rarely scolded, who wouldn't be afraid of what Snape would look like when he sprayed venom?

They were lucky not to run into Snape.

The painting was also very eye-catching. Harry raised his hand and tickled the pear. It chuckled a few times, then floated out and turned into a green door handle.

Harry pulled.

Walk in with Ron.

In the room, dozens of elves were busy with their work while looking over there - empty.

Disillusionment spell?

"Which little wizard is it?" An elf came over, sniffing his nose and asked respectfully, "What can I do for you, Kro?"

"Prepare a live cow for me and knock it out with a Sleeping Charm." Harry gave the order in a low voice without taking off the Invisibility Cloak.

The magic contract allows these elves to distinguish whether they are students of Hogwarts.

But he had little trust in this creature.

"Of course, but... this may take some time." Kro nodded and obeyed.

"How long will it take?" Harry asked.

"Tomorrow night!" Crowe said pitifully, grabbing his ears. "Crowe still has to clean Hogwarts, so he can only satisfy the little wizard's request tomorrow night."

"Don't punish yourself," Harry ordered, before it started to cry and yell and hit itself. "I'll come and get it tomorrow night at eleven."

When Harry finished speaking, Ron asked expectantly, "Are there any more lamb chops for dinner?"

"Of course!" Kro snapped his fingers and a plate of lamb chops fell into his hands. "Is this enough? There are still many in the kitchen."

"That's enough." Ron happily held out his hand to take it.

Crowe's mood became high: "Crowe helped the little wizard!"

"Little wizard, do you have any other instructions?"

"Tomorrow morning, prepare a bowl of mushroom soup, a croissant, and a small piece of butter for me and send it to Gryffindor..." Ron mumbled incoherently while chewing on a lamb chop.

Harry elbowed him gently.

"Send it to the Gryffindor table." Ron immediately changed his words.

Crowe bowed: "Everything is at your command, little wizard."

They left immediately.

On the way, Ron munched on his food and sighed, "How good they are. The lamb chops are almost the same as if they were freshly made."

"But it was the elves who intercepted your paper, forcing you to rewrite it before school started." Harry reached out and picked up a piece, adding insult to injury.

Ron's face turned green: "Thank you for reminding me of this."

They walked back to the lounge.

"Harry, can I go to the Forbidden Forest with you tomorrow?" Ron suddenly asked as they approached the dormitory.

Harry shook his head.

"I promise, I'll be quiet..." Ron vowed immediately. Every little lion has an adventurous heart.

"It's very close to the nest of the Acromantula." Harry said softly, "And they are a little restless. At the end of last semester, there were several times when they were eager to attack me."

spider.

Or a giant spider.

Ron's face turned even greener than before: "Okay, in that case, then next time if there's a chance."

"Of course." Harry nodded.

Thursday.

The second grade little lions can sleep in a little, as the first Transfiguration class doesn’t start until ten o’clock.

Transfiguration is one of the most difficult courses at Hogwarts, perhaps second only to Defense Against the Dark Arts - while the difficulty of the latter lies in the lack of a qualified professor, the difficulty of the former lies in the lack of a qualified brain.

Professor McGonagall took them to review the content of the final exam of last semester.

Turn a ladybug into a button -

Only Harry and Hermione performed well and succeeded at once.

Ron had a little accident.

He conjured up buttons, but the legs were still there, crawling around on the table. He had to smash it to death with a book to solve the problem.

In a fit of anger, Professor McGonagall assigned an eight-inch-long paper.

They had plenty of time to rest at noon to digest the content of the Transfiguration class and to get enough rest for the last two Potions classes of the week.

The two sections are connected together.

Snape gave them a difficult task: to brew a bone-growing potion, which was a potion that required extreme precision. Even the slightest carelessness would render the potion ineffective.

This was not a difficult task for Hermione and Harry.

They made it out smoothly.

He is also one of the few successful people in the whole class.

"The quality is so-so. Perhaps the person who takes your potion will have to endure two days of pain before his bones grow back." Snape commented on Hermione's potion, paused, and said hastily, "Gryffindor, one point."

The room came to a sudden stop.

Everyone looked at Snape in disbelief.

etc……

What did Professor Snape say just now?

Snape had already picked up Harry's bottle of medicine, glanced at it, made a "tsk", and hurriedly put it down, spraying the venom on the next person.

Wait until the course is over.

Ron kept looking at Hermione, his eyes full of curiosity: "Hermione, what did you do?"

"Why would Professor Snape give you extra points?"

"Only one point." Hermione shook her head, "And the professor deducted five points from Harry today, even though his potion is much better."

"Perhaps, you reminded him of my mother." Harry made a guess. "The way you process the materials is very similar."

Hermione said nothing.

"I want to learn too." Ron said with envy, "It doesn't matter if there are extra points or not, as long as Professor Snape doesn't scold me anymore."

Hermione snorted, "I asked you to learn during the summer vacation, but you didn't. Now you remember it."

"Who studies during the summer vacation?" Ron complained and looked at Hermione.

She was very confident because she had been studying hard during the summer vacation.

He looked at Harry again, and Harry was also confident - this guy was even more powerful than Hermione and had made Professor Flitwick so tired.

"So students are supposed to study during the summer vacation?" Ron asked in surprise, and began to doubt himself. Looking back, besides the Weasley brothers, there were only a few people in the family...

It seems that Percy, Charlie, and Bill also study during the summer vacation.

wrong!

The Weasley brothers also read books sometimes.

So I'm really an alien?

"Study hard, Ron." Harry said earnestly.

"Study hard, Ron." Hermione also said earnestly, "Should we try to take the top three places this year? Professor McGonagall will be very happy."

Ron looked painful: "Oh, okay, I'll try my best."

"If you get third place, I will take you to the Forbidden Forest." Harry promised.

Ron's eyes sparkled: "Really?"

A surge of motivation suddenly surged in his heart.

After dinner, Ron dove into his textbook as he was going to try to finish his Transfiguration paper, while Harry headed for Snape's office.

Today was the first extra-curricular lesson of the term - Professor McGonagall hadn't given him detention yet, and Harry felt that after his visit to the Forbidden Forest, he would have to turn himself in.

There is no point wasting precious time.

Knocking on the office door, Harry walked in.

"Potter, I thought your empty mind would forget this matter." Snape stood up, stared at Harry and sneered.

"Actually, I almost forgot." Harry deadpanned, "I came here to ask Professor Snape why he gave Hermione extra points."

"It seems that our Mr. Potter is starting to lose his mind." Snape waved his wand, and the decorations around him retreated. "Would you rather see me deduct points from Gryffindor?"

"Okay."

"I don't want to see your stupid face any more. Let's start tonight's class."

"Before you learn Occlumency, I think you have to learn the Patronus Charm first. You are better than the troll. You can read books and know what the Patronus Charm is."

Harry nodded. "One of the oldest and most powerful spells of wizardry, and the most famous defensive spell."

"White magic that can only be performed by the most upright and powerful wizards."

Snape narrowed his eyes. "Don't be so smart and emphasize certain words."

"Professor, I didn't." Harry looked innocent.

Snape flicked his sleeves and said, "The spell for the Patronus Charm is Exo Patronus."

"It does not require complicated gestures or rituals. To cast this spell, all you need is the purest joy and the purest positive emotions."

"Hold your wand tightly and recall your happiest moment - if you have one, if not, think about the little witch next to you."

Harry looked at Snape.

"What are you still standing there for?" Snape saw that he didn't move, "Wait for me to cast the Imperius Curse on you?"

Harry said, "Professor, why don't you show me?"

Snape's expression didn't change, but his aura... gradually became dangerous.

"Really? Our smart and talented Potter also needs a professor to show him how to do it?"

He spoke coldly, and the temperature in the room suddenly dropped several degrees.

"Of course." Harry nodded.

"Very good." Snape raised his wand and chanted the spell, "Expecto Patronus!"

Silvery-white mist spewed out from his wand. After a while, it was thick enough to fill the entire room. Suddenly, something solid emerged and ran hastily around the room.

"Now, do you see it?" Snape retracted the spell and gritted his teeth.

Harry nodded. "A very beautiful doe. Maybe a fallow deer?"

Snape raised his wand and pointed it at him: "Should I praise your good eyesight and give Gryffindor a hundred points?"

"Now, immediately, release the spell."

"I really hope that after I show you once, you won't just wave your wand like a troll."

Harry raised his wand and clenched it with both hands.

Happy memories…

That’s a lot.

Because Lambert wanted to become a witcher, he went to Geralt and was beaten up. He then went to Vesemir and was beaten up again.

The first time I got drunk, I danced with them by the lake.

The sorceresses, bards, and doctors I met on my journey...

After returning to this world, that night, I chatted with my grandparents - even though they were just portraits.

And friends.

Hermione, Ron...

Although the demon hunter is in pain everywhere, he is always protected by love, no matter where, no matter who, and no matter how.

He opened his mouth and chanted the spell.

"Expect God to Guard!"
