Chapter 46: Grass, Trees and the Sea

High spirits and determined will.

Harry had both of these things.

Thick silver-white mist spewed out from the tip of the staff. It rose up, swirled, and tried to gather into a ball. An unreal and illusory figure emerged in the hazy state.

Can't see the head clearly.

But it has four strong and powerful legs.

Strong body.

Snape's expression became more favorable. These were not the legs of a stag. They looked more like some kind of carnivorous creature.

Harry tried his best to keep the magic going.

The fog rolled in waves, but the creature inside was still difficult to take shape. It kept struggling back and forth between translucent and transparent. A question arose in his mind - why hadn't it taken shape yet?

With a snap——

The entity exploded lightly, dispersing into a cloud of mist and rolling to both sides.

It didn’t take shape immediately.

Harry frowned slightly. It shouldn't be a problem of emotions. He could feel that it was just a matter of finishing touch.

Something is missing.

Harry looked at Snape.

The slicked-headed Professor Kelp was about to sneer.

Harry realized what was missing from his last move - the belief in protection, the clearest and most intuitive thing written in the name of the spell.

This kind of belief is not lacking among the Wolf-faction Demon Hunters.

He chanted the spell again.

"Expect God to Guard!"

A bright, dazzling silver-white light shone, a small stream of faint mist surged, and a huge creature emerged from the wand.

A lush mane and a whip-like tail—a lion.

It landed lightly on the ground, protecting Harry in front of him, staring at him with a fierce look and baring teeth, breathing at Snape.

"You are such a stupid lion that even the professor can't tell the difference." Snape waved his hand, "Put away your spell."

Harry ignored him and looked at his Patronus with fondness.

He thought it would be a wolf - after all, the school's emblem was "wolf".

Lion is also very good.

"Mr. Potter!" Snape said sternly.

Harry waved his wand, dismissing the Patronus: "You look very happy."

"Of course." Snape sneered, "I don't have to face your stupid face all night."

"Potter, don't think it's a big deal that you can summon a physical Patronus just because you learn the Patronus Charm for the first time."

He waved his wand.

A box flew over.

"You may know that many dark magic creatures can only be expelled by the Patronus Charm."

"Now, try to use your Patronus to drive this thing away."

The box is opened.

Inside was a black cloak.

Harry could feel a strong breath of life and magic from it. It was a living creature, and soon he was looking up information about it in his mind.

Lying bat.

An extremely rare cursed creature that basically only lives in tropical areas.

"I thought you were going to get a Dementor, Professor," Harry said softly.

"I'm thankful you didn't mistake it for a cloak." Snape waved his wand again. "Your eyes seem to be of some use."

The Confusion Charm fell upon the Falconbat.

It gave a squeak and screamed, and leaped at Harry.

"Don't use what you learned from Professor Flitwick."

"And don't pull out the Sword of Gryffindor."

"Use the Patronus Charm!"

Snape held his wand, ready at all times, but his tone was cold: "Don't worry, I will show mercy and rescue you before it eats you."

It's very fast.

It floated silently and in almost the blink of an eye in front of Harry, and spread its huge wings - revealing a furry, tiny body underneath.

It's quite cute, similar to the mouse named Scabbers that Ron raised.

At least……

Much cuter than the grinning deformed monster.

Harry waved his wand: "Expecto Patronus."

The lion rushed out, slapped the bat away with one slap, and then swung its tail. The cursed creature didn't seem to pose any threat in its eyes, so it crouched down again and continued to stare at Snape cautiously.

"Very good." Snape nodded, expressionless. "It would be even better if your Patronus was smarter."

"Potter, when you get back, a ten-inch paper."

Harry asked, "Is this the end of today's class?"

"I thought we could practice Occlumency a little more?"

Snape raised his hand and threw a notebook over: "Go back and read this book carefully before we talk about Occlumency."

"I would love to see you panicking and embarrassed when someone is looking into your inner thoughts."

"But I'm not interested in your stinking brain."

Harry took the notebook and was still struggling: "Then practice the Patronus Charm again?"

Snape waved his wand and the office door opened: "Get out!"

"Wait, Professor, I have some questions about potions." Harry didn't want to waste time and asked questions quickly.

Snape answered them one by one impatiently.

Advanced-grade potions and the various witcher potions began to have something in common - many of them required alcohol to be mixed, and Wood was hoarding potion materials by hiding so many spirits.

Some witcher potions have powers that potions in this world do not have.

It would be a good thing for me if I could change the recipe and mix them out.

I kept asking until curfew was almost approaching.

Snape finally couldn't stand it anymore, seeing such a face swaying in front of him, so he waved his wand, grabbed Harry and threw him out.

Wait until the office door closes.

Harry immediately put on his Invisibility Cloak, opened the kitchen door, walked in, and called out, "Crow!"

"Snap", the elf appeared in front of Harry.

"The little wizard is here!" The elf held his head high, "The things the little wizard asked Kro to prepare are also ready."

It snaps its fingers.

With a dull thud, a heavy object fell to the ground.

A buffalo larger than Snape's office desk appeared out of nowhere.

For the first time, Harry understood what the Weasley brothers had said about the house-elves trying to do their best to follow up on every request - the cow was too big to fit the Invisibility Cloak under.

"Can you help me get it to the Forbidden Forest without alerting others?" Harry asked after a moment of silence.

Crowe nodded: "Of course!"

"Little wizard, just call out Kro's name."

Outside the Forbidden Forest.

Hagrid led Fang on patrol, and when they were far away, Harry called out softly, "Crow!"

The elf did not appear.

But the cow appeared in front of him almost silently.

Harry waved his wand, and vines came from all around, bound it, and carried it up into the air, following his footsteps toward the area where the Bicorns appeared.

Another pile of fresh feces.

It looks like it has been here for a long time recently.

Harry put the cow down, took out the love potion and poured it on it. A faint scent of grass and wood mixed with a hint of the dull smell of the sea rushed into his nose.

It's really attractive.

Then burn the unicorn's hair and scatter the collected petals on the ground.

A magic spell cut the cow's skin and blood gushed out.
