Chapter 8: First Possession

Time passed peacefully, and almost nothing major happened in Hogwarts during this period - except for the trouble caused by Lockhart in class.

Now Ginny almost understood why Mr. Riddle had such contempt for Lockhart's writings.

"He's just a straw bag!"

Ron had said this more than once during dinner, but each time it would draw Hermione's dissatisfaction. Hermione was almost a die-hard fan of Lockhart, and even after seeing him cause trouble several times, she still firmly believed in the fake Lockhart in the book.

During this time, Ginny became more and more dependent on "Mr. Riddle" and trusted him more and more. She shared almost everything with Cyrus, including her happiness, worries, troubles and fears. She almost opened her whole soul to Cyrus, and Cyrus greedily devoured her secrets and fears.

Now--

"Ginny" raised her eyes, her expression completely different from usual.

Or it would be more appropriate to call her Cyrus now.

This was the first time Cyrus had tried to take control of Ginny's body in the first few weeks of school. He was very cautious and would give up if there was anything wrong. But in fact, it went more smoothly than he thought.

Cyrus stuffed the meat pie into his mouth and took a big sip of pumpkin juice. Although it was not his own body, he could feel everything that this body could feel. The long-lost food made him very happy. He planned to go for a walk after breakfast.

"Colin Creevey?" He turned his head and looked at a very thin boy with gray hair sitting at the dining table.

"What's wrong, Miss Weasley?" Colin Creevey turned his head in surprise. Since the beginning of the school year, he had not spoken to this very cute classmate.

"Please ask for leave for me. I am feeling a little unwell."

"But I think you look fine...Okay." Colin Creevey stared at Cyrus' back blankly, because Cyrus had already strode away before he finished speaking.

Cyrus first wandered around the school and then headed towards the forbidden forest. He needed to find out where the school's roosters were kept and then prepare an opportunity to kill them all.

Cyrus walked past the playground, gradually moving away from the castle and onto a path. On the path, he could see a vast forest from afar. The forbidden forest covered at least several hills, and at the edge of the forbidden forest, there was a small wooden house.

Cyrus walked closer and saw Hagrid bending over in the field. The pumpkins in the field were almost taller than Ginny.

"Hey!" Hagrid noticed him, and immediately stood up and shouted, "Little wizard, go back quickly! The Forbidden Forest is not the place for you!"

"Hello, Hagrid. I'm not going in. I'm just taking a walk." Cyrus didn't stop, but slowly walked to Hagrid's pumpkin patch. "Such a big pumpkin. Did you use the Swelling Charm?"

"Ah, it's you, the Weasley girl." Hagrid recognized Ginny and became more friendly, but also more alert. Because of Fred and George, the two troublemakers, Hagrid now has a psychological shadow on the Weasleys. "It's just a little help. By Halloween, they will be even bigger. Do you want to come in and sit down?"

"No, I'll just take a walk." Cyrus had no intention of eating Hagrid's dark cuisine and immediately refused. "Don't worry, I won't go into the Forbidden Forest. I know it's dangerous there."

"That's good, you're much more obedient than your two brothers." Hagrid was very happy that he didn't have to deal with another troublemaker.

Cyrus walked along the edge of the Forbidden Forest and soon found the rooster in captivity. At the same time, he could feel Hagrid's eyes looking at him from time to time, fearing that he would suddenly dive into the Forbidden Forest.

With no chance to take action, Cyrus had to walk back slowly.

"The air here is really nice. I'm going to go back first, Hagrid. I'll come visit you next time."

He always loves the people in the house and the people in it. He has a good relationship with the Weasley family, and they are also very friendly to Harry. Therefore, he is also very friendly to Ginny. This small house next to the forbidden forest seems a bit lonely at ordinary times.

Even Harry and the others don't come here often.

When Cyrus returned to the castle, classes had probably already started and there was no one in the corridor, but just in case, he took Ginny's wand and cast a Disillusionment Charm on himself.

Ginny's wand was made of yew wood, just like Voldemort's wand. Cyrus was surprised to find that this wand was quite suitable for him. Yew wood symbolizes death and rebirth, which is indeed very suitable for him now.

The only pity was that Ginny's magic was a little too weak, so the Disillusionment Charm she cast was not as good as he had imagined. When he was still, he couldn't see anything, but as long as he moved, he could find that there was still a faint outline around his body, like a layer of raised glass.

But as long as you are careful it should be enough.

Cyrus walked cautiously towards the girls' bathroom on the third floor.

At this moment, Filch's sharp voice came to his ears.

"What's the matter? What did you find?" Filch shouted excitedly. "A student who skipped class?"

Cyrus saw Filch stumbling after the skinny cat, his face full of excitement.

Mrs. Norris probably smelled the scent of Cyrus, and lowered her head to walk towards where Cyrus was staying. She got closer and closer, and probably because the smell here was stronger, her pace slowed down.

Mrs. Norris raised her head and looked towards the corner with a puzzled look.

Filch looked over immediately.

"Nothing!" He cursed under his breath, saying viciously, "He must be hiding! Casting a spell, which is an even greater crime!"

After patrolling Hogwarts for so many years, he certainly knew that there were some spells that could hide a person's appearance. This had happened more than once. At first, Filch thought that Mrs. Norris had made a mistake, until a student's half-baked Disillusionment Charm suddenly failed, and he realized what was going on.

So he immediately stretched out his hand and began to feel around, looking like a blind man with normal eyesight.

This action is funny, but it is effective, especially when Cyrus's spell is not perfect and will be broken as long as he moves.

Seeing this, Cyrus had no choice but to take a risk, raised his wand with the smallest amplitude, and pointed the tip of the wand at Mrs. Norris:

Confusing the public!

Mrs. Norris screamed and her hair stood up, which scared Filch.

Before Filch could say anything, it rushed out as if it had discovered some other clue. Filch immediately limped after it.

Cyrus breathed a sigh of relief and continued walking towards the third floor.

My dears, please don’t keep reading. Even if you just read to the last page, it is really important to read after reading. Thank you, my dears. (End of this chapter)
