Mark reached out and touched the window frame, and the wood grain of the window frame twisted into a spiral galaxy like water waves, allowing his body to pass through unhindered.
"Is this... a dream?"
Although he was unfamiliar with the changes before his eyes, Mark's subconscious told him that he seemed to have experienced this situation many times!
His body passed through the window frame, and a staircase made of stars extended automatically under his feet, passing through the starry cemetery below and heading towards the door of Stewart Church.
The courtyard of Stuart Church was silent. There were no owls foraging for food, no mice or cats playing hide-and-seek, and no nuns or crows.
Countless tombstones in the cemetery below seemed to be inserted upside down on the indigo sky. The stone tablets engraved with unknown symbols exuded glowing starlight and turned into ribbons converging towards the church gate.

"How did you get in?"
Mark's sudden entry into the battlefield obviously caught Irene off guard. She frowned slightly and took another half step towards the monster. The magic shield on her body also grew a bit larger, completely blocking Mark behind her.
Naturally, Irene wasn't the only one who noticed Mark's sudden appearance; the monster also let out a roar.
Its limbs were frantically scratching in front of Irene, and its pair of white eyes were fixed on Mark who was still confused.
As it scratched, a crack several feet wide appeared between it and Irene. At the same time, Mark felt a chill on his back.
An identical crack actually appeared behind him!
